Located in a beautiful area close to the sea, a short walk from the historic center and nightlife polignanese waiting for you to spend your relaxing vacation.

Near Largo Ardito, you have a large car park admiring part of the wonderful world of the Caves of the city where you can also see the old town rocked on the sea, situated a few steps.

The Bed & Breakfast Karen House in Polignano a Mare is the perfect combination of creativity of the painter and the essentiality of the tailor, recreating rooms full of charm and personality.

The home of the painter, located on the ground floor, can accommodate up to three people.

The suite of tailor, placed instead on the top floor, can accommodate up to five people and is equipped with kitchen and terrace complete with furniture, overlooking the beautiful blue sea to give you a total relaxation.

Following his thoughts, his aspirations, the painter paints a simple room, full of style and content, giving vent to brushes and gouaches, making your stay full of flashes of light and color.

Creative touches add color and style to this historic building. It was charming. Karen went above and beyond, making us feel welcome. The location was ideal. We liked the downstairs area because the door opened right onto the street, which was a short walk (maybe seven car lengths) to the sea and offered a beautiful view overlooking the city and its limestone foundation. Out the door and two streets to the left became a hub of activity at night, with dining and shopping options. We loved Polignano a Mare, pasticciottis, and staying at Karen's B&B. However, if you're doing any boating adventures, it's a 45-minute walk to the marina, so plan accordingly (consider a tuk-tuk). Residents parallel park between the yellow lines on the narrow streets. Parking for Karen's place is by the seaside overlook and is not parallel parking, so it is much easier to get in and out.

We highly recommend this property because, in addition to its uniqueness and beauty, it has an excellent location not to be underestimated. It is practically in the city centre without the inconveniences of the centre, such as noise and car parking. The little terrace is spectacular. One last thing, no less important: the owner's kindness and professionalism. A perfect 10!

The structure is very beautiful and full of charm. Furnished with taste and style. Mrs. Tonia is always very attentive to satisfy any request from guests. Upon our arrival, the owner informed us that the room we had booked was not available due to a technical problem, we were assigned a room of a higher level, which we appreciated very much and which made us very happy and satisfied. It is not something everyone does to treat guests this way, Mrs. Tonia is an example of care for the customer. We felt pampered, we will return!!!

Karen's house is just charming, in a beautiful and great location. Tonia was the best host we have ever had. From receiving us with a big smile, saving a parking spot for our car, communicating before and during our stay, and even making sure we had an unforgettable 25th anniversary. B&B Karen House is a gem in the heart of Polignano. Tonia, the owner, warmly welcomed us giving valuable advice on how to enjoy Polignano and all it has to offer. And what about the terrace with sea view?! Simply stunning, having breakfast there in the morning and enjoying a bit of freshness in the evening were the cherry on top. We will definitely come back to Tonia for another vacation in this wonderful place.

We fell in love with Polignano. The house is perfect, central but quiet, you can smell the sea from the terrace and see the buildings lighting up in the evening with families chatting on balconies or making dinners or hanging the wet beach towels. Love it love it love it.
