In the heart of the fascinating Bari Vecchia stands our characteristic B&B, a welcoming and relaxing place, rich in history and culture, ideal for an unforgettable vacation. The name, B&B dei Meravigli, comes from the nearby Arco Meraviglia, located just a short distance from our establishment. The arch was named "after a Bari family, originally from Milan. It is accessed from the streets Filioli, Zonnelli, San Gaetano, and Vico del Lauro. The arch connects the ancient houses of the Meraviglia family. Legend has it that the arch was built in one night, causing "wonder" the following morning when its construction was discovered."
On a small peninsula rises the folkloric historic center of Bari, where you can admire the typically medieval urban layout, as well as ancient Byzantine and Norman buildings, and marvelous Romanesque style buildings, such as the renowned Basilica of San Nicola.

The B&B dei Meravigli is surrounded by ancient churches of historical and architectural interest and is located 30 meters from the city's cathedral, 100 meters from the Basilica of San Nicola and the famous Swabian Castle, 300 meters from the port, and 400 meters from the renowned Petruzzelli Theater.

Just a 5-minute walk away, you will reach the city walls. The central station is approximately 800 meters away. A paid hourly parking lot is located a few meters from the property, but a guarded communal parking lot is also available within a short walking distance, with shuttle services for those who prefer to use public transportation.

The structure is located in the heart of "old" Bari, without an elevator and with paid public covered parking about 700 meters away. Comfortable bed, excellent fixtures. The room has a small balcony which is an added value for enjoying a tea or coffee. The bathroom is small, but given the position of the structure - probably - it was not possible to do better during the renovation. Welcoming owners, unfortunately, however, with "temporary" unavailability of the POS for card payment. Italian breakfast at the nearby affiliated bar.

We stayed at B&B Dei Meravigli for 4 days.\nWe were greeted by Raffaele who was very kind and ready to meet any of our needs.\nThe room is small but comfortable.\nWe were on the 3rd floor.\nThe structure does not have an elevator.\nThe shower is very small but it was not a problem.\nThe breakfast composed of croissants + drink at the nearby bar, very good.

In the heart of the old town and easily accessible from the train station. Good welcome and kindness. The ground floor room is cozy and well equipped. A bit noisy on Saturday night. Breakfast at the nearby bar is simple and friendly. We recommend without restrictions.

The B&B Dei Meravigli is in the center of Old Bari, in the heart of the city and I really liked this. The rooms are new and clean. Lello is the manager, a kind and helpful person, he gave us some good tips. A delightful B&B, I absolutely recommend it!

We stayed at B&B Dei Meravigli for the April 25th bridge. The building is beautiful, completely renovated in the center of old Bari. The rooms are very spacious, tastefully furnished, and extremely clean. Daily linen change. The owner is a pleasant and very helpful person. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
