Description

Antique farmhouse from the XVIII century built in local stone, lovingly restored and transformed in a Bed&Breakfast: four cozy rooms, each with a private bathroom and independent entrance.

The citrus trees in front of the house and the flowers in the garden will be the ideal environment for your breakfast with the products of the countryside, like citrus marmalade and fruit confiture (available on sale only for our guests), cakes and biscuits.

You will be the welcome in the friendly and pleasant atmosphere of our B&B, thanks to the courtesy and simplicity of the hosts.

(In nearby there are farm with animals).

Since 2012 the City of Mattinata has introduced the tourist tax, which amounts to € 1 per person per night. The tax is not included and must be paid at the beginning.

Our jams and preserves are also made in-house, featuring standout flavors like citrus made from oranges and mandarins grown in the B&B's garden, as well as fig jam sourced from our very own trees.

In addition to these offerings, we provide fresh cookies, bread, and milk every day. Please note that as all of our products are fresh, availability may vary.

It was a wonderful week, thanks to the warm and never intrusive hospitality. Excellent breakfast, a small oasis of peace among oranges, lemons, pomegranates, olive trees, and a little garden with tomatoes, mint, and basil. The sea is reachable in 10 minutes on foot. Beautiful... And thank you ❤️.

Very friendly and helpful host with the property set in a charming garden. The only shortcomings - and they are small - is that the room we were in had no hot water after our neighbours showered, the room could benefit from a kettle and maybe some more teas although there was lovely fresh mint from the garden, maybe a sun lounger or two in the garden? Breakfast was very lovely with great coffee, fresh orange juice and very tasty home made jams. The only improvement there I would make is to swap the Philadelphia cheese for some of the very tasty Italian cheese! But really loved the location - ideally set between the beach and the town of Mattinata (both walkable). Would definitely revisit!

Marilina and Raffaele are very friendly hosts. Although we unfortunately speak very little Marinina, we felt very comfortable. The location is great: very quiet, both Mattinata and the sea are within a 1/4 hour walk. The breakfast is very tasty with homemade jams and cakes. Because we liked it so much, we extended our five-day stay by 2 days.

We were guests of Paola and her mother for a short holiday on the Gargano. The clean and tidy room had everything needed for a good stay. The scorching weather didn't help, but the fabulous breakfast made us forget even the August heat! Paola was very helpful even in accommodating our early breakfast request. Paola welcomed us to her B&B before the scheduled check-in time. An ancient farmhouse in the countryside with a very beautiful garden away from the chaos, where the only sounds were the chirping of birds, the bleating of sheep, and the crowing of roosters. The rooms are actually mini apartments equipped with a kitchen. My apartment had a private garden corner. The B&B is a 15-minute walk from the sea, but it is better to take the car to go to the center of the village of Mattinata. The breakfast served in the common garden with slices of bread and jam and some homemade cake, hot drink of choice, is very healthy. The manager only accepts cash payment.

The farmhouse, restored in respect of the local typology and materials, is well-maintained and tastefully furnished. The garden, with olive and lemon trees, perfectly kept, is magnificent to enjoy the abundant breakfast and for relaxation. We appreciated the kindness and availability of Paola. We will be back soon to spend a few more days and enjoy the sea and the spectacular landscapes of Mattinara and surroundings.

We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Collotorto. The highlight is definitely the beauty of the place, very clean and the delicious breakfast made with artisanal products. Negatives: issue with the shower not being hot enough and the amount of flies in the area due to the neighbor's animals, this was what bothered us the most. But these negatives are insignificant because the manager is kind and helpful. The place is also perfect for relaxing, very quiet. We recommend it!

We were greeted with courtesy and professionalism. The room is in a beautiful citrus grove where you can enjoy the silence and peace. Both the sea and the town center are within walking distance with a pleasant 15-minute walk. The owner Marilina is polite and discreet, but always very kind and helpful. The real strength is the location, reserved and well shaded. Excellent value for money (period: bridge of 2 June 2022). We will certainly return.

We stayed at the B&B Collotorto for the first 10 days of September. The structure is very beautiful, with a usable garden, strategically located to reach various beaches and more or less touristy locations. The manager (Paola) is very kind, the breakfast served includes local products and homemade jams, with the availability to accommodate any changes. Must try.

Immersed in the Apulian olive trees, B&B Collotorto is in an ideal position also for moving around Mattinata on foot towards both the sea and the town. Paola welcomed us, very kind and helpful, who every morning prepared a wonderful breakfast with homemade jams for us. The room was clean and tidy, we had a small kitchen and a small fridge at our disposal, the garden is well-kept and very beautiful, with lemons and mandarins and a vegetable garden at the back. I would gladly return!

I stayed for six days at B&B Collotorto and it was a wonderful stay. The B&B is located halfway between the beach (about 1.3 km) and the town (10 minutes on foot). The place is quiet and pleasant, the rooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated, and the garden with its lemon trees is great for relaxation. The hosts are very kind and helpful in providing information about things to see in the surrounding area, restaurants to eat, etc. For breakfast, they serve excellent homemade jams and cakes. I had a great time at Collotorto and I recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, relaxation, and a great starting point to discover the beauties of Gargano.

We spent the weekend of 2nd June in this comfortable and pleasant B&B Collotorto immersed in a splendid citrus grove, where oranges and lemons dominate spectacularly. The friendliness of the owner Marilina was excellent in terms of availability and discretion, already at the time of the telephone booking made with Ella. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything one may need for a stay, even a very useful fridge in hot periods. The bathrooms are clean and well-kept with very large and comfortable showers, but the spectacular thing about this B&B is definitely the breakfast, which is not to be underestimated. Marilina delighted us with her jams made by her with her products: oranges, lemons, peaches. The freshly squeezed orange juices are delicious as well as the excellent croissants. Other information: it is very close to the beaches of Mattinata and has a large closed parking area. A final note on Marilina, the owner, she is an exceptional person, capable of giving advice to everyone on where to eat and places to visit. She recommended us the Vignanotica Beach between Mattinata and Vieste which is something spectacular not to be missed. In short, it was a weekend with top marks and an excellent value for money.

Very pleasant structure obtained from a renovated ancient residence, surrounded by citrus trees and flowering plants, all nestled in the olive grove that separates the town of Mattinata from the sea. Impeccable cleanliness. At night, you rest well in complete silence. Excellent breakfast in the garden, carefully served by the owners. Marilina and Raffaele are very kind and helpful, they made us feel comfortable right away. Spot-on recommendations for a couple of places to have dinner. Located just 5 minutes by car from the beach of Mattinata and perhaps even closer to the town.

Good starting point to visit the most beautiful places of the Gargano located between Mattinata and Vieste: Vignanotica, Vieste, baia delle Zagare, Matinatella, etc. Friendly owners full of advice, without becoming intrusive. Delicious breakfasts with natural products and homemade jams, all excellent. Very quiet place immersed in the greenery of an orchard, for nature lovers. The only downside is the proximity of a farm from which, depending on the wind, animal odors arrived. I repeat: for nature lovers.

B&B Collotorto nestled among olive trees, lemon trees, and bougainvillea. No criticism, we had a great time. The breakfast was very good, with homemade jams, cakes, brioches, and fresh bread. The little house was well equipped, even for a quick post-beach lunch. Close to the most beautiful beaches of Gargano, recommended by Marilina, always very kind and helpful. Mattinata is still a rustic village, not contaminated by the crowd of tourists and souvenir shops, just what we like. See you soon!

Lost Paradise. Close to the sea, this B&B is located. The house is very well maintained, all rooms overlook a paradisiacal inner garden. The breakfast is rich and offers a wide selection. The owners are always very friendly and try to fulfill every wish of the guests. We were a family of four with four children and can only recommend this place! We stayed at this wonderful B&B during the summer and were warmly welcomed by the owners Marilina and Raffaele. The B&B is nestled in an olive grove, close to the beach and just a few minutes from the center of Mattinata, a lovely little town. Our apartment was on the ground floor of the main house, a beautiful 300-year-old stone house, with its own terrace covered by lemon trees and other plants. The stay was simply great and very relaxing. Every morning there was a breakfast with fresh bread from local bakers, homemade cakes, homemade jam and many useful tips. The owners are very nice and try to fulfill every wish. The B&B has a beautifully designed breakfast terrace, parking in the courtyard, wifi... and above all a lot of charm. The whole property is very well maintained, there is a small garden with fresh fruit and vegetables. Conclusion: anytime again!

Beautiful stone structure immersed in citrus plants. Good location to visit places like Vieste, Pugnochiuso, and Monte Sant'Angelo. The sea of Mattinata is not the best, but just move away a little and find charming beaches like Vignanotica.

We were from the end of August to the beginning of September for 9 days at the very familiar B&B Collotorto and enjoyed not only the beautiful garden and delicious breakfast but also the tomatoes and the figs that Raffaele collected for us. The children were just so happy there that it was difficult to convince them to go and visit the area. Also, gluten-free breakfast could be organized, so that the perfect holidays for all of us could be guaranteed.
