Description

The “Antica Terrazza” is situated in an ancient village, in the old town centre of Morciano di Leuca, between little streets and picturesque buildings. It is a welcoming place to relax and discover the pleasure and the flavour of the past. Moreover, it is two km away from the golden beaches of Salento’s sea.

The rooms, accurately furnished, provide all comforts: bathroom, air conditioning, heating, fridge, tv, security.

The service includes a rich and plentiful breakfast with Salento’s typical products and all is accompanied by the cordiality of Vito and Anna.

The hosts will feel at home, they will be lovingly attended and directed to the possible touristic and artistic destinations to visit: the wonderful beaches of Pescoluse (Maldive), Torre Pali, or the amazing landscape of Santa Maria di Leuca, situated on the meeting of the two seas.

In a few km from the “Antica Terrazza” you can also reach the suggestive Otranto and Gallipoli and – a little bit farther- the baroque Lecce, known also as “the Florence of the South”

Unfortunately, we only stayed for 1 night, my husband and I along with 2 friends were just passing through. Although it was our first time, we were welcomed by old friends, with polite courtesy we were pampered from the very first moment by Mr. Vito and his wife Mrs. Anna in a family-like and characteristic environment. The super breakfast pleasantly surprised us and the overnight stay was excellent! We hope to be able to return to this place where this precious humanity still exists!

We stayed at this beautiful B&B for 3 nights from July 17th to July 20th. Clean rooms, great friendliness and availability from the owners. Excellent and abundant breakfast, delicious pasticciotti, fruit and savory, all this is consumed under a beautiful veranda, moreover what you don't eat you can take with you. My wife and I had a great time at this B&B Antica Terrazza. Order and cleanliness everywhere, the location is great and it's easy to find parking for the car nearby. Breakfasts, set up on the terrace, were the best moment after waking up: sweet and savory, typical products from Salento, what you didn't eat you could take away, all seasoned with the pleasure of conversing with two exquisite people like Anna and Vito. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at the B&B Antica Terrazza for six nights during our trip through the beautiful Puglia region and, in particular, in Salento. Morciano di Leuca is a village located a short distance from the coast, an excellent choice to avoid the typical congestion of the waterfront and in an ideal position to visit both the Adriatic and Ionian shores. The B&B is housed in an ancient manor house, recently renovated with care and attention to combining respect for the places with the most modern comforts such as air conditioning, safe, fridge. Our room, in particular, had a truly spacious bathroom and overlooked the beautiful terrace after which the structure is named, where a great and abundant breakfast is served in the morning, always varied, which between sweet and savory does not fail to let you taste the specialties of Salento, including the inevitable 'pasticciotto'. Anna and Vito, the owners, make every guest feel at ease, always ready to provide excellent advice and suggestions. It is worth noting the possibility of using sun loungers and umbrella for free for those who like to move freely among the beaches and to take away what is not consumed from breakfast. Salento is a wonderful land and Anna and Vito are two wonderful representatives of it: we hope to be able to return soon to enjoy their hospitality.

We stayed at this B&B for 5 days in June, occupying the small studio with a private kitchen. The environment is very nice and well cared for in every single detail. A special thought for breakfast, served on the terrace from which you can see a beautiful sunset, we were pampered every morning with a different breakfast to taste the specialties of Salento, all accompanied by chats and advice on what to see and where to go during the day or evening. But the best part came at the end, everything we didn't eat could be taken away!

My husband, my daughter Ilaria who is 10 years old, and I stayed at this B&B found by chance on the internet. It was a real stroke of luck to stay at this beautiful B&B Antica Terrazza framed by a wonderful sea and located in an optimal position to visit Salento. The rooms are very clean and tastefully furnished. The terrace, where an excellent and abundant breakfast is served, is a delightful corner ideal for savoring your holidays to the fullest. What can I say about Vito and Anna: two splendid people, perfect hosts, never intrusive and always ready to meet your every need, making you truly feel at home. The internet connection is also good; thanks to their generosity, I was able to solve some work problems using their personal computer. “Lu Salentu: sun, sea and wind” in this splendid “setting” stands the B&B Antica Terrazza, where we were guests for the last 10 days of July 2013. The structure is splendid, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Excellent location: only 2.5 km from the beaches of Torre Vado, it also allows easy access to the most charming places in Salento. Vito and Anna, the owners, are the “epitome” of hospitality: kind, friendly and “family-like”… never intrusive. What can I say, a place not only to describe but to experience. My partner, my two daughters (one 11 years old and one 8 months old) and I spent a wonderful week.
