Alvino Suite & Breakfast is a splendid structure located in the center of the city of Lecce. It is the only one that overlooks directly the Roman Amphitheater in Piazza Sant'Oronzo and the Sedile. The structure has five large suites with star-shaped vaults, typical of Salento's homes.

In fact, by using this service "Port Shuttle - Zone 2 (Lecce City)", you can reach the northern entrance of the city of Lecce in just 30 minutes. At this point, you are only 1.2 km away from the Bed and Breakfast. Just follow the directions to Piazza Sant'Oronzo, the most important square in the city, and once you get there, you can find us right above the "Caffè Alvino" bar.
By train:
Arriving at the Lecce Central Station, you can follow these directions to get to the Suite & Breakfast Alvino:
1. Proceed northeast on Viale Oronzo Quarta towards Via di Ussano - 0.3 km
2. Turn right at the 2nd cross street and take Viale Gallipoli - 0.3 km
3. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit for Piazza Nicodemo Argento/SP362 and continue on the SP362 - 0.4 km
4. Continue on Viale Otranto - 0.4 km
5. Continue on Viale Felice Cavallotti - 0.7 km
6. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi - 76 m
7. Continue on Viale 25 Luglio - 0.3 km
8. Park in the area and continue on foot to Piazza Sant'Oronzo.
After the Caffè Alvino, in front of the Roman Amphitheater, the first street on the left is Via Roberto Di Biccari.

From Bari, take the SS E55 / SS 379 to Brindisi, then take the SS 16 to reach Lecce.

la struttura è molto bella, pulita e in una posizione eccellente del centro di Lecce. nonostante abbia soggiornato per 2 notti non ho avuto modo di conoscere i gestori di persona (a causa dei miei orari). ma a parte la mancanza della conoscenza di persona l'ottima organizzazione degli stessi ha compensato tale mancanza. anzi mi hanno concesso la mattina di avere orari "comodi" e hanno adeguato la pulizia stanza alle mie esigenze. la colazione si fa al bar Alvino sotto, uno dei più rinomati di Lecce. abituato alla colazione self service stile "all you can eat" l'idea di avere a disposizione solo un voucher per una bevanda e una pasta all'inizio non mi attirava. ma l'aggiunta di un succo e di paste supplementari, dati i prezzi locali, non intacca minimamente il rapporto qualità prezzo della struttura. e poi il pasticciotto di Alvino è buonissimo... disponibile anche nella variante solo nutella.
