La Stornara is an Old Pugliese Masseria from the 1940s, at the time dedicated to the production and drying of tobacco leaves. Today La Stornara offers the experience of a totally relaxing stay immersed in the bucolic nature of the farm and the privilege of being able to access a secluded beach in a Nature Reserve.
Exclusive and regenerating location 10 minutes from the sea 27 times Blue Flag and in a strategic position to visit fascinating places such as the Sassi of Matera, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Grottaglie and fascinating destinations in Basilicata such as the ghost town of Craco, Pietrapertosa, Castelmezzano and the Pollino National Park!
The rooms feature typical cross vaulted ceilings and arte povera style furnishings. The property has been recently renovated down to the smallest details to offer a pleasant stay in the dwelling once used for tobacco leaf processing and peasant lodging.
Each apartment is equipped with every comfort (TV, WiFi, air conditioning, laundry room and well-equipped kitchen).
Outside a huge garden with lawn under pine trees, wooden gazebo with barbecue, ideal for lazing around and organizing outdoor dinners.
Suitable for both couples looking for an exclusive and totally relaxing place and families with children.

A unique experience made even more enjoyable by the surprise of having found you by chance while looking for a relaxing place to enjoy the sea and visit Matera. Reality exceeded expectations (the apartments are rich in history, well-maintained, and comfortable, the total relaxation in the garden with the sound of doves and cicadas made the stay even more pleasant and poetic). The suggestions (and the gladly accepted coupons) provided by the owner made the vacation even more complete and special. Unforgettable was the horseback ride immersed in nature and the secluded beach in the nature reserve suggested by Roberto… We will definitely return!
