"The Pino Grande" is an agriturismo located in the Alta Murgia National Park on the road to Minervino Murge at Km 20+920, a 3-minute drive from the famous Federiciano monument of Castel del Monte (13th century), which has long been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The structure, a rural manor house from the 19th century built with warm local stone, expanded from a 17th-century building, offers Bed & Breakfast service (in a welcoming and well-furnished environment with antique furniture) and a Restaurant, with a proposal of genuine cuisine, both traditional and innovative, mostly made with organic products directly harvested daily from the gardens managed by the farm.
Everything is rigorously prepared "in-house" by the owners (the Pavan brothers) and mostly cooked in a wood-fired oven or on the grill.
At the back of the structure, there is an elegant veranda and an ancient garden to enjoy moments of peace and tranquility, with the presence of a majestic pine tree and a centuries-old oak.
Open every day of the year, also for the Restaurant only (with the possibility, for guests, of free overnight parking for their campers).

Farm renovated for B&B. The suite is comfortable. Very Italian decoration. Nice stopover when you want to see the Castel del Monte. Too bad the gardens are not better maintained. We recommend for an overnight stay.

True agricultural experience working as a family. Welcoming and helpful. Dining room and rooms are very beautiful in a characterful old building. Moreover, the typical and local cuisine is worth a visit. Do not hesitate if you are in the area.

We stayed for only one night, we stopped for dinner and breakfast. The dishes were excellent and the service simple but perfect. The waitress was super helpful and gave us very good advice. Abundant breakfast prepared with high-quality local products. Prices below average, recommended.

A fantastic farmhouse in the Murgia Natural Park. Owners and staff are very friendly and services are excellent, the breakfast is superb. Recommended walking excursion to Castel del Monte (it's 6 km) for hiking lovers.
