It is located a few kilometers from Aosta, on the road that leads to Pila, the well-known ski resort easily accessible via a cable car that connects it directly to the city of Aosta. The area offers hikers the opportunity to follow medium and high mountain itineraries, characterized by different levels of difficulty. Worth mentioning is a unique foot race, the Aosta-Becca di Nona which, every two years, leads skyrunners to try their hand, round trip, along the 27 km, and the total 5000 meters of elevation gain, which divide the regional capital with the peak overlooking the municipality.

NATURE AND SPORT:
The area offers hikers medium and high mountain routes, for different degrees of difficulty. In addition to the climb to the Hermitage of San Grato, which can be reached from the capital in just over three hours, for about 1200 meters of elevation gain, the most daring will be able to conquer the high peaks of this municipality, which overlook the plain of Aosta. One of these is the Becca di Nona (3142 m), the other is Mount Emilius (3559 m), which can also be accessed by means of a via ferrata. In Charvensod it is also possible to do cycle tourism, both on the asphalt road towards Pilaz and on the cycle and pedestrian path, accessible from the Pont-Suaz sports area in Charvensod. The sports area is equipped with 4 tennis courts, a bar, a restaurant and a solarium. At the "Sami Fitness Squash" gym you can relax in the wellness area with sauna and steam bath.

CHILDREN:
It is completely child-friendly. In fact, there are many possibilities for recreation for them, both as proposals for easy itineraries on foot or by bike, especially in the flat area that runs along the Dora, and as play areas or organized initiatives. In fact, the little ones can find 5 playgrounds in the municipal area, one of which is in the Plan-Félinaz sports area, accessible from the cycle and pedestrian path along the river. Of great interest are the initiatives promoted by the educational farm La Bim e la Bam e la Bom, located on a promontory overlooking the city of Aosta, surrounded by woods, vineyards and pastures. Here, following the daily activities of the farm, children have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the manual work of agriculture and breeding.
