The B&B "La Casa del Nonno" is located in Contrada San Vincenzo, an oasis of peace surrounded by the greenery of the Abruzzo countryside; away from city traffic and only 6 km from Guardiagrele, known as the 'city of stonè and praised by the poet and writer Gabriele D'Annunzio in "The Triumph of Death".

Recently renovated, our cozy B&B is situated 15 km from the equipped ski facilities of Passo Lanciano (la Majelletta), 20 km from the golden beaches of the Adriatic Sea, from the Costa dei Trabocchi, about 30 minutes from the nightlife of the city of Pescara and the charming seaside towns of Francavilla al Mare and Ortona. Therefore, the B&B is located in an ideal place for those who love both mountain excursions and sunny beaches due to its favorable position halfway between the Adriatic coast and the Maiella massif, which also allows easy access to the main centers of the Abruzzo provinces without sacrificing the pleasure of a relaxing vacation.

Building recently renovated, well cared for, nicely furnished and kept clean. The area seemed quiet to me despite the proximity to the provincial road. Large parking area, small garden with tables, chairs and a gazebo. Five minutes from the village of Guardiagrele, which has shops and services of all kinds. Very kind and helpful hosts. Definitely satisfied with the week-long stay!

Very clean B&B with spacious and comfortable rooms. The kitchen is large and well-equipped with everything you need. The owner is very kind and willing to give us lots of information and very accommodating with the check-in time. We will definitely come back. The little garden outside where we relaxed while having a coffee is also beautiful. Thank you.
