As shown by the example in Table 3.10, the translation of tourist texts stands in between the wish to communicate the same functional message shaping it for the target reader and the importance of outlining the specificities of the source culture. Unfortunately I have found that, these translations are sometimes hastily made and therefore present some mistakes.
Some instances of these types of mistranslation have been underlined in Table 3.10 above and the following are some possible solutions:
