The pastries we serve for breakfast are homemade using ingredients from the Dolomite Belluno area, sourced as locally as possible, such as butter, eggs, milk, ricotta, jams and other delicious treats.
When we don't make bread in-house, we source it from nearby artisanal bakeries in Taibon.
To add sweetness, we offer honey from our neighbor, who is a beekeeper, and fantastic jams from the Belluno-based company La Giasena.
In addition to the must-have tea and herbal infusions, in the morning, we serve fresh juices also from La Giasena.

Hello, my name is Elena and I was born and raised in Taibon, a small village nestled in the vertical mountains known as the Dolomites. I studied tourism in high school in Belluno and then graduated in Cultural Heritage - Art History from the University of Trento.
My parents, Fiorangela and Daniele, instilled in me a love for the territory and a passion for the mountains, but above all they taught me to respect and value what this corner of the Dolomite paradise offers.
However, I must be honest, as a child I hated these things, I hated getting up on Sundays knowing that I had to walk in the mountains all day. Growing up and having to leave my nest, I began to appreciate this territory more, understanding that I simply couldn't do without these enchanted places.
Together with them, we manage a sports store, Sport Agordo, in Agordo, in the heart of the Dolomites.
The desire to open a B&B was my father's dream, who worked as a waiter in his grandparents' hotel when he was very young; thus, hospitality and welcoming people have always been present in my family's character. It is no coincidence that we are among the founding members of the Ospitalità Diffusa Conca Agordina - Dolomiti.
The structure in which Sot l’Agner is located was an old wooden barn purchased by my parents in 2000, already with the intention of creating a small accommodation facility.
In 2014, we began the long external renovation works, for which we respected the old model of construction in wood and stones, and then the design of the B&B, entirely designed to make my guests live moments of total detox and relaxation, respecting the slow rhythms of mountain life and immersing them in a context of local traditions, combined with modern comforts.
So Sot l’Agner was finished and I, together with my parents and my partner Manuel, am ready to welcome and pamper you, surrounded by exciting peaks and hoping to make you dream day and night at the foot of the Agordine Dolomites.

This is a small B&B with great attention to every detail, both aesthetic and practical, and also human. I had a personal issue and Elena helped me, showing understanding, which is not something you find everywhere. I recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants peace, care and a good breakfast with homemade, mostly zero-km products. We will meet again.

I loved so much the B&B Sot l’Agner, I recommend absolutely. Elena had many care of the gluten free breakfast for my daughter. And the rooms are very nice, with a view, a lot of details for the guests (cosmetic, arnica oil). The valley San Lucano, Alleghe, every place is peaceful and nice.

Elena is a very knowledgeable host. The breakfast is rich with homemade products (bread and cakes) and local products, from jams to yogurt and much more. Two well-kept rooms equipped with every comfort. At the time of booking, Elena provided us with a brochure rich in information about places to visit, trails to walk of every grade and difficulty. Additionally, the tranquility of the location near the main centers like Agordo, Falcade, Alleghe, and many others allowed us to enjoy very beautiful and relaxing views. It should definitely be noted that the area is away from over-tourism and therefore it is more relaxing to move around even by car. Recommended also for those who do not want to drive and enjoy relaxation.

A beautiful and very quiet B&B, with a lot of taste and many little attentions that pamper you and make every minute spent there very pleasant and magical. I will be very happy to return. I just hope that my review, more than positive, does not lead to a rapid increase in prices. A small clarification: I gave "only" 8 to the location of the structure because it depends on where you want to go. For my program, it was an optimal location, a 10; however, for more popular destinations, it requires taking the car (30-40 min) to reach them.

Everything is perfect, taken care of down to the smallest detail. We came to this facility for a couple of days of vacation in a place close to our hearts. From the very beginning, the welcome was perfect; even before arriving, the communication with Elena, the manager, was perfect. The facility has a large parking lot a few meters away, is completely new, and has a mountain yet modern style. The cleanliness is excellent. The breakfast deserves a dedicated chapter: it is very handmade, and there are typical and quality products, irresistible. I recommend spending a few days here, a strategic point for trips and walks in the area.

Excellent accommodation the bed and breakfast Sot l’Agner; managed by Elena with a lot of kindness, love and attention to detail. The common areas as well as the rooms and the bathroom, where home automation reigns, are equipped with every comfort to make you feel at ease. The typical furnishings of the area and the cleanliness are superb. In this bed and breakfast, you find peace and tranquility, and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony of the room. What an amazing place. Elena was so helpful. After booking, she got in touch via business WhatsApp, which made the communication so much easier (no logins, searches, etc etc...). Elena was very hospitable, she sent us a list of places to eat (it was very handy, as in the rural area you can't just turn the corner and find one). On arrival, she sent us directions for parking and finding the place. Honestly, couldn't be more helpful. Once we arrived and met her, she was nothing but a warm bundle of positivity and joy. You can see she loves what she does and tourism and hospitality is the place she belongs. We got so many suggestions of what to see, where to hike etc. Our room was spotless. The bed was so comfy, the place is renovated and you can see that a lot of love and thought was put into setting up this B&B. We honestly cannot fault anything, our stay was perfect. Grazie Tiziana per le sue parole e per aver specificato che per chi cerca passeggiate, escursioni e trekking, il mio B&B ha comunque una posizione di favore, soprattutto per la presenza della Valle di San Lucano che si presta molto per ogni tipo di camminate, dalle più semplici e rilassanti alle più impegnative. Le piste da sci è vero non sono vicinissime ma comunque i 15 minuti che ci separano, vengono ripagati dal panorama che si può ammirare mentre si raggiungono gli impianti. The structure is simply in line with the mountain environment: warm, welcoming, clean, and brand new. It is complete with many small attentions for the user. The aim is to create a familiar and serene environment where you sleep very well. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is well taken care of and full of self-produced products. All'arrivo chiedo sempre ai miei ospiti se hanno particolari esigenze: se mi viene richiesto ed è nelle mie possibilità, accontento tutti, italiani ed internazionali. The rooms are very spacious, equipped with a bathroom, terrace, and spotlessly clean. The style is rustic-mountain and very well-kept, but at the same time and equipped with all comforts. The breakfast is exquisite, with homemade pastries in the morning, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt, milk, fruit juices, and jams, all locally produced and strictly organic. Elena, the person who manages the property, is very knowledgeable in providing tourist advice and is always extremely helpful and attentive to all guest needs, as well as being very friendly. The environment in which the property is located is one of the best in the world, as from the terrace of the room you have a wonderful panoramic view of the Dolomite mountain range framing Taibon Agordino, while at the same time being in the heart of the village, just above a huge and very convenient parking lot.

I stayed two nights for work reasons, I was really impressed by everything: from the very large and new rooms with an incredible attention to detail (with rods and hiking backpack available, creams and various oils...), to the abundant breakfast with local or homemade products to the very kind hospitality and friendliness of the manager. Traveling often for work, I can say that I have never found such quality. 5 stars like the structure deserves.

What can I say, I returned home not just because I am from there, but because with Elena you feel at home. It's beautiful, her parents and her family make you feel comfortable, a typical warmth of those places, a simple and elegant refinement in the smallest details, from the little flower on the table to the scent in the room. Let's not even talk about breakfast, Elena makes fabulous cakes. I met her last year, I went back and we will return again and I recommend it.

Extremely courteous and prepared staff, Sot l'Agner is also excellent for families. Very nice rustic style with excellent sanitary facilities. Everything fantastic! We only spent one night there, but felt very comfortable. The room was spacious and cozy. Comfortable bed and everything very clean. In front of the bedroom there is also a lovely wooden balcony with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Elena and her mom were very friendly and the breakfast was balanced and very good.

Beautiful stay in this property where every little thing is designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed! Brand new room, clean and with small attentions (from face masks, hand cream, massage oil available). Convenient to the large parking lot just a few tens of meters away, all very cozy, the location is suitable for short excursions without having to move the car. Elena is always generous with advice and smiles, like her beautiful baby girl and her parents. A mention should be made of the breakfast, where you can enjoy local products and the sweets are strictly homemade, as well as the granola and believe me, you can taste the difference!

We found a lot of friendliness and helpfulness in Mrs. Elena who is very knowledgeable in giving advice on what to do in the area. She prepared an excellent simple breakfast with local products that we really appreciate.

Dream B&B. A fabulous weekend. The structure is strategically located to reach the ski resorts in a short time, and with many paths for walking. The B&B is well taken care of in all its details and very clean. The room is stunning, clean, fragrant, curated in every detail with a WOW view. Mrs. Elena (the owner) welcomed us with all her professionalism and was very helpful in meeting our needs. Excellent breakfast, sweet and savory with strictly local products. The sweets are superb... made strictly by Elena. I have already recommended this B&B to my acquaintances. It's worth going back.

Excellent structure. In many trips, I have never found a B&B so well-equipped: makeup remover pads, lint brush, nail polish remover, intimate cleanser. Elena wonderful owner. Super breakfast. Excellent cleanliness. Highly recommended!

Beautiful structure, tastefully decorated with attention to the environment. Priceless to find the fireplace lit and the breakfast laid out. The owner was very kind and courteous, quality products and zero km explained carefully, from soaps to herbal teas. We had a great time.

Mountain B&B absolutely perfect and beautiful.\nI discovered the beautiful B&B "Sot l'Agner" by chance: at the weekly market of Agordo there was a billboard with the photo of one of the two rooms. Immediately I understood: here I will go! Already in the photo it looks wonderfully welcoming!\nAnd so it was: there is nothing that is not perfect or decorated or taken care of in the smallest details. When my husband and I were there towards the end of September 2022, outside it was a little cool. Already for breakfast a warm fire was lit in the fireplace. I could write a novel with all the details placed with love, both in the bathroom and in the breakfast room, in the children's room, in the bedroom... I would need several pages! But let me say one thing: if you don't go there and want to spend a few quiet days in this cozy alpine-style cottage, the fault is only yours! For hiking enthusiasts, a backpack and two pairs of Nordic walking sticks are also available. \nThe owner Elena Carlin always cares for the well-being of the guests, and you feel "at home", not in a strange place. \nI would like to take this opportunity to thank Elena from the bottom of my heart for making me spend two wonderful days, and I bow my head for her ability to make the B&B so beautiful! Thank you - and I will be back!

To say we had a good time seems an understatement, it's a little gem nestled in a stunning valley. Congratulations to Mrs. Elena for her availability and attention to every detail, compliments for the taste of the furnishings, for the cleanliness, for the breakfast with local products. It's a pity we were just passing through and stayed only one night, but it remains in the lovely memories of this vacation. Highly recommended and thanks again to Mrs. Elena.

Elena's bed and breakfast is something wonderful and the care she puts into its management is even more so. In the midst of the Dolomites, with an amazing panorama outside and nature ready to welcome us, Sot l'Agner was a place to return to at the end of the day that made us feel pampered on all fronts. Everything, from the refined design of the structure in perfect harmony with the surrounding environment, the impeccable cleanliness, the details like the guidebooks available in the kitchen, the intimacy of the space, to the breakfast (Elena's cakes sublime and all the rest locally sourced) is carefully curated and gave us a sense of home. Excellent, we will definitely return!

Just lovely. Everything worked, everything was well done, and well thought out. Breakfast was very tasty. We cannot comment on the location as we are cycle touring and the B&B was on our route - so for us it was perfect.
