The apartment is located a 15/20-minute walk from Mestre-Venezia train station, in a quiet and green part of the city. The building borders a charming public garden and is surrounded by greenery. The bus stop for Venice is less than 50 meters away from the house and buses are frequent, even at night. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Venice. There are various shops nearby, such as supermarkets, bars, and tobacco shops, which are about 100 meters away. You will have a fully equipped kitchen, utensils, and linens at your disposal.

The apartment will be entirely at your disposal. It will be a pleasure to provide you with suggestions and useful information to make your stay in Venice enjoyable, as well as to visit other tourist destinations nearby. This will be done in person upon arrival or through informational material that I have prepared for you.

Other things to keep in mind: the tourist tax is not included in the total price and must be paid upon arrival. The tourist tax is 4 euros per person per night, valid for the first 5 nights. Starting from the sixth night, no further payment will be required. Children aged 10 to 16 pay 2 euros, while children under 10 years old are exempt from payment. From January 1st to January 31st, the tax is reduced by 50%. Upon arrival, as required by Italian law, you will be asked to show your documents to register your presence at the municipal office. GUIDELINES FOR CLEANING AND HYGIENE: I personally take care of cleaning the apartment, and the positive reviews I have received over the years confirm my attention to this aspect. After the Covid-19 emergency, I have adopted additional cleaning measures. I use effective chemicals against Covid-19 and will provide everything you need at this time: hand sanitizer, gloves, disposable wipes, absorbent paper, tissue paper, and more. Although I will take care of cleaning the apartment, cleaning products and disinfectants will be available for you.

Some tips: Venice is a quiet and safe city, even at night, but beware of pickpockets. It is advisable to always carry backpacks in front of you, as pickpockets tend to cut the bottom of backpacks. Avoid sitting or eating on the steps of Piazza San Marco, as you could receive a fine. Remember to always validate your bus ticket, even though it can sometimes be difficult to find a store that sells them (usually found in newsstands or tobacco shops). Occasionally, there will be inspectors on the bus, and fines are quite high.
