Description

Residenza Montecchi is located in the center of Verona, a few steps from Ponte Pietra and the Roman Theatre where the first settlement of the city was built on Colle San Pietro.

Crossing the river Adige we enter the pedestrian area and we arrive in Piazza delle Erbe, heart and fulcrum of the city since Roman times connected with the Piazza dei Signori, the courtyard of La Ragione with its wonderful Scala and the Chapel of the Notaries.

Here you will find the Torre dei Lamberti, the highest monument of the city with a breathtaking view.

At the end of Piazza delle Erbe we meet Via Cappello that accompanies us to the most famous balcony in the world " Juliet’s Balcony "
Continuing in Via Mazzini you arrive at the foot of the Roman Amphitheater "Arena di Verona " known worldwide for its operas and concerts.

Our furnished apartments are equipped with every comfort, independent bathroom, air conditioning, independent heating, kitchenette, wifi and television.

All apartments can accommodate up to a maximum of 3/4 people, and one of these, on the ground floor, is accessible for people with disabilities. There is no elevator.

The two-room apartments are located on the first, second and third floors. Only some are equipped with a washing machine or balcony so special requests must be communicated at the time of booking. If guests want separate beds they must communicate this at the time of booking.

Great location and excellent management. The street-side windows need attention because there is a lot of noise and some aesthetic details are a bit neglected. Convenient for visiting the city on foot.

Really very good: authentic kindness of the host: from start to finish, although not present 24/7 in the establishment (it is not a hotel so I find it absolutely correct). Impeccable cleanliness, excellent location. The apartment is large, so the cleanliness and care are evident. Everywhere. Keep dedicating the care that I found. Also in the kitchen corner. Thank you for hosting us and making one day a perfect day.

A beautiful place! It was clean and so near all the spectacular things in Verona, like 5–10 minutes walk. Eleonora, the host, was fantastic and very helpful! We would really like to recommend this place and we will definitely come back some day!

Just a stone's throw from the historic center. On the other side of the Adige but between two bridges that lead in a few minutes to the cathedral and the squares of dei Signori and Erbe, the building does have the disadvantage of being on a very noisy road axis, making it difficult to hear with the windows open and excluding the enjoyment of the balconies. The young woman who welcomed me in a friendly and competent manner was very responsive and helpful at the time of booking. Intended for 3 people, the apartment where I stayed (5 days) is spacious but strangely and impractically furnished. No shelf or furniture in the bathroom: I had to clear the top of the washing machine in the entrance to place my toiletries, nothing in the shower to place shampoo and gel. A small pot and a big pot, lacking a lid (on the grounds that people break them), but a cooking plate with... 5 burners, no work surface, a refrigerator that opens the wrong way... And the impression of being Alice in Wonderland: too small to comfortably use the sink – placed high and far from the user and deep – but too big for the sink which came up to my mid-thigh... Some observations from previous travelers have been heard: toilet paper and shower gel available in sufficient quantity. Provisions provided: one coffee pod per day and sugar. Finally, a note to smokers: do not choose this residence for its balconies, the owner prohibits smoking there.

The structure is simple, but very clean and suitable for our use. Very close to the Giardino Giusti, which we had to visit thoroughly. The sofa bed turns into a very comfortable bed, and the use of the kitchen makes the stay more convenient if one does not want to eat out all the time.

A beautifully restored 17th-century palace just a few hundred meters from the bridges leading to the center. Paid parking, but on the surface for only one euro per hour. The underground parking at Piazza Isolo is more expensive but really just a stone's throw from the door. Very spacious and well-structured apartment, the bedroom is very well furnished in keeping with the style of the house, the living room unfortunately has many styles... it wouldn't take much to make it wow. Cleanliness and kindness are top-notch.

The structure is clean and functional. The location is not close to the center and the train station but is well connected with a bus stop just a few meters away. Bars and restaurants are available in the area. The staff is welcoming and very helpful in providing information on WA to reach the structure. The only criticism: I booked a structure with 2 bedrooms for 2 guests (I was with a friend). The second room was actually the sofa bed in the kitchen-living room (and perhaps if I had read the description better I could have understood this), but paying €10.00 more for the sheets for the sofa bed seemed unfair to me.

The structure is really very beautiful, welcoming and clean. The only points that I think could be improved are the rigidity of the beds (it was quite painful to sleep there) and the absence of any small cabinet or hook in the bathroom on which to place clothes or towels.

I booked the Aida studio, refined, well-furnished, and clean. It is 400 meters from the Roman theater and the Redentore restaurant (a deconsecrated church) where you eat very well. Very close to the B&B is the characteristic Ponte Pietra, and the center can be easily reached on foot in about ten minutes. There is the possibility of parking in a nearby free parking lot. A young lady manages the place and is attentive and professional. I will use it as a reference for the future. Breakfast is not included, but coffee capsules are provided for a first coffee. For a complete breakfast, I recommend Flego Pasticceria, which is not far from Juliet's house.

For my first time in Verona, after examining a considerable number of accommodations, I chose Residenza Montecchi based on its location and the possibility of bringing dogs: it was clear that it was well positioned but I couldn't imagine how much! Practically on the long Adige, crossing Ponte Nuovo about 200 meters away, you reach the center in just a few minutes, everything is within walking distance even with children. There are minimarkets and pastry bars adjacent to the property. Eleonora is caring, reliable, and very helpful, the building is majestic and well maintained, the ground floor studio is exquisitely furnished and is a grace for families traveling with dogs. I highly recommend it.

During the Valentine's weekend, we stayed at Residenza Montecchi. The structure is small, romantic, with few apartments and is located next to the river in a strategic position to visit all the points of interest in the city (which also allows you to come and go from home comfortably). About 30 meters from the structure, there is a very convenient underground parking. The little apartment we chose was clean, tidy, and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Eleonora, a young, kind, and very prepared person who gave us information about the monuments to visit, restaurants, and answered all our questions thoroughly. The value for money is definitely high. A highly recommended place from us, we hope to return soon.

The rooms were spacious and quiet in a very classic building just outside of the old city. It is an easy walk into the old city center and a 20-minute walk to the main train station. There was a washing machine but I did not use it since air drying would have taken too long. The bathing shower was nice with a good amount of hot water. \nHostess was very friendly and informative. I would definitely stay there again.

Apartment in a very convenient location 10 minutes from the center of Verona, a bit hot (but we stayed on days that reached 40°C) and a bit noisy because it's on the street (the one we stayed in). The manager was extremely helpful and prompt in handling a small issue independent of the structure. Highly recommended.

Very cute small apartments just a stone's throw from the center of Verona. Excellent internal facilities (coffee machine with related pods, washing machine and even iron and ironing board). The receptionist girl was courteous and helpful. The only flaw, at least for the apartment I stayed in, was the bathroom sink that took a long time to drain the water and the shower box did not seem well sealed during the shower. General flaw, poor soundproofing starting from the windows. However, I recommend it.

Very cute Bed and Breakfast in the center of Verona. A perfect welcome with very kind and helpful staff in providing you with lots of information about the city. Practically in the center, you can walk around and be close to everything. Very clean and with all comforts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Since check-in, we had the feeling of poor availability from the manager. We asked if we could leave the room half an hour later, but we received a categorical no. Comfortable double bed, uncomfortable sofa bed. The room is noisy, the fixtures do not provide good sound insulation, as the street is busy. Comfortable apartment in terms of space. Impossible to park in the area except in a paid parking lot, with a fee of 20 euros per day. Low value for money ratio.

È stato spiacevole la vostra continua insistenza nel richiedere di applicare uno sconto superiore a quello che vi è stato riservato in fase di prenotazione. Abbiamo accettato di accogliervi nonostante il check-in tardivo e rispetto al nostro regolamento. Vi abbiamo dato tutto le informazioni necessarie per il deposito bagagli. Purtroppo le vostre richieste in merito a questo e al late check-out (più di 2 ore) non rientrano nei nostri servizi. Oltre a ciò, pensiamo che dev’essere cura dell’ospite lasciare gli appartamenti in cui ha soggiornato in condizioni decorose rispettando le regole più basilari quali spegnere le luci, chiudere le porte di ingresso dell’appartamento e della struttura terminato il soggiorno (invece che lasciare tutto aperto ed incustodito). The apartment is very nice, well structured. The only flaw is being on the street and having poorly insulated windows, air and noise came in.

Advantages: location near the center, simple and courteous check-in, excellent cleanliness. Apartment in an elegantly renovated building. Disadvantages: located along a busy street, so quite noisy. In the bathroom, there is no furniture to place towels or toiletry bags. Radiators not working perfectly. Lack of free parking in the area.

Structure 150 meters from Ponte Pietra, through which you can access the historic center, the beating heart of the city of Verona. The manager Matteo and his dad Dino are very kind and super helpful in fulfilling every request. The apartments are spacious and clean. Very charming structure in a beautiful area of Verona. Just a few minutes from the historic center, with ample parking considering it is in the city center, and a short walk from the Adige River at a point where the view of the Torricelle is breathtaking. The apartment is well maintained, even in the details, such as the illuminated mirror in the toilet, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Sandro, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. An apartment like this can be said to match the beauty of the city where it is located.

We stayed at Residenza Montecchi with my husband both for work and tourism. We had a great time. Cleanliness and comfort in a wise management made us feel at home. The apartment is very beautiful and fully equipped with excellent free WiFi, very useful for organizing my work. The coffee pod machine was a blessing. The location of the property is enviable, just a stone's throw from the historic center but still with that non-touristic flavor. Many small local places and excellent trattorias nearby. The kindness and competence of Sandro made us feel very comfortable. What can I say, we will definitely return and highly recommend it.

I found the Pappagalli apartment really nice and comfortable, furnished with taste and refinement. The free WiFi was very useful for us. Excellent location and proximity to monuments and shopping. Sandro was able to recommend the right restaurants with an excellent quality price ratio. We will definitely return.

We stayed at Residenza Montecchi for a few days in April with my partner and I must say that we had a great time. The structure is very well maintained, nicely furnished, not with cheap things, and the beds, especially, are very large. The structure is very clean, in an excellent central location. The service and availability of Sandro were impeccable. The electric coffee machine was a real blessing. Thank you again, we will definitely return and we recommend it.
