The establishment is the result of the restoration of a portion of the family farmhouse, carefully renovated to maintain the charm and character of traditional rural homes.

For nature enthusiasts and outdoor lovers, Maggese offers a base for those wishing to discover the Sile River, its springs, and the nearby WWF Cervara Oasis.

Cycling fans can enjoy the nearby Treviso-Ostiglia bike path and the Greenway, which features various stretches immersed in the countryside. The most well-known route is the 52 km cycle-pedestrian path that connects the city of Treviso to the seaside resort of Jesolo and the Venetian lagoon, following the course of the Sile River, the longest spring river in Europe.
