A perfect place to stay in Venice for a couple of days. It is 7-8 minutes from the bus and train station, where you can also take a vaporetto, which is very convenient for arriving and leaving Venice. The building is very lovely, I had a mansard room with a window to the sky. It is quite spacious, cleaning is done every day, you have a kettle in the room and there were always some sweets on the ground floor, very cute. And the host was reachable via whatsup, so I had no problem booking and extending my stay. Highly recommended, good quality, reasonable prices.

It is a very nice and cozy place. It would just need a bit more attention to details, a more accurate maintenance to raise it in the rating. However, it is recommendable. The owner is a very kind lady and the staff adequate. It is located in a charming corner and easily reachable on foot from the station. It has a mini garden full of flowers.

The best: the location and the decoration of the courtyard with flowers and plants. Very quiet room. Comfortable bed. The manager, very friendly, provides useful information. The reception is at the Malcantón hotel, around the corner. The worst: very small shower, dirt on the headboard of the bed, ants. Although the cleaning was generally correct.

The structure is a bit old, but all in all not bad. Excellent location, everything is within walking distance. The staff is not very helpful and not very friendly. Very poor breakfast. We arrived at the property at 8:00 and the room was delivered to us at 13:00, uncomfortably wandering around for 5 hours under the sun. Following the request for lactose-free milk due to intolerance, we were told to go buy it.

Faccio presente che anche voi avete lasciato in ritardo la camera dopo un nostro sollecito e alla richiesta della reception, dopo aver lasciato i bagagli free per riprenderli nel pomeriggio, se tutto era andato bene è stato risposto "ok" e anzi chiesto la marca del latte che era stato di vostro gradimento. Ci si meraviglia di tale commento, comunque si ringrazia e distinti saluti.

There is good value for money. The hotel is less than 10 minutes' walk from the train station and bus station. The place is charming and I recommend it for short stays like mine. The room was clean. For the price offered, you should not have too high expectations otherwise you need to pay more. Not disappointed at all with my stay especially since I was able to leave my luggage all day after check-out.

We stayed at Locanda Gaffaro with 4 people, the room was spacious, close to the station, the owners were kind. Due to COVID, breakfast was served in the room, being 4 the table was a bit small, but overall the stay was pleasant. It is about a half-hour walk from Piazza San Marco.

Very good location, quiet place, away from noisy streets but disappointed about the soundproofing of the rooms, sometimes no hot water and mediocre quality of breakfast, no variety in the products offered (local products would be welcome), no use of the TV with only 4 channels. Very attentive staff.
