Description

We welcome you in an old country house with all the comforts
necessary to spend days in quiet and serene.

On arrival you will stay at a large terrace with garden furniture and
sweeping views of the Castle of Montorio.

The rooms are furnished with rustic antiques that tell the story of the dwelling, surrounded by a large park and ancient trees.

About a kilometer reach the city bus and a few hundred
m is the cycle track, with trails for every need: some
bicycles are available.

Pets are allowed upon prior request and confirmation. Guests are required to inform the property before arrival if they are traveling with a dog. Dogs are not allowed to be left alone in the room. They must be kept on a leash on the terrace and in all common areas shared with other guests.

Check-in is available from 14: 00 to 17: 00. Any arrivals outside these hours must be arranged in advance. Guests are required to inform the property before arrival. Check-out is by 11: 00.

I love art, and Verona is certainly rich in it. I also love animals and often spend my free time walking in nature with my little dog.

I stayed here for two nights with my family. We had a great experience. I had planned and informed them of our late afternoon arrival, but the children were very tired and they were super accommodating in letting us check in early. The B&B is very clean and tidy. I highly recommend it.

Lovely old farmhouse on the outskirts of Verona in the little town of Montorio. The accommodation was very good. The owner was a delight and very helpful. The breakfast is taken in a bistro in Montorio and is very good. In the evening of our departure we received fresh cherries from his first harvest of the year. Recommend for a relaxing break.

I stayed at this splendid residence with my husband. If you are looking for a place immersed in the Veronese countryside and you want tranquility, it's truly the ideal place! Here you will only hear the sounds of nature. The house and the place are truly charming, it feels like being on vacation at grandma's house. We stayed in the "Magnolia" room, a dive into the past, very well furnished with early 1900s furniture and many other little gems. There is also a huge terrace available, where you can enjoy a splendid view in total relaxation! The managers, who are also the owners, were very welcoming and helpful. We had a great time, highly recommended place!

Very nice place, clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable room, as well as the toilet. Manager available and friendly, immersed in greenery, total tranquillity. I cannot rate the breakfast as I did not use it. After the covid rules, they have not yet equipped themselves for breakfast in the structure, and I did not take advantage of the agreement with a bar in the village, due to personal habits. They are preparing for the POS, essential in 2022 and soon to be mandatory by law.

We stayed one night at Mrs. Daniela's place, a very friendly and sunny person. Large and clean room. Abundant breakfast, everything from sweet to savory. We had a fantastic stay at La Rugolana. Wonderful renovated country villa, maintaining its original character and with love for details. Daniela and her family are incredibly hospitable people and made us feel at home by offering us abundant breakfasts and a different one every morning. They were also very helpful and helped make our stay unforgettable by giving us advice on places to visit and specialties to taste. We gladly recommend La Rugolana.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful and quintessential Italian property overlooking farmland from the large patio/terrace area. It is a very quiet and relaxing location with a large parking area. The breakfast was without question the best we had in Italy. Daniela is a very passionate Inn Keeper with the drive to make your stay as perfect as you could want. We would without question recommend a stay in this wonderful part of Italy. Well, giving everyone a score of 10 for the structure, management, breakfast, etcetera seems to me the least. In fact, a score of 10 for management is too little, I would have given at least 100 and just as much for breakfast. In short, we spent two days cooped up in total relaxation in this place, which attracted us, with this fantastic landscape and the scents of the countryside that we could hardly leave. The place really deserves a lot, a huge terrace, where we found a beautifully set table for breakfast, everything taken care of, from the cups to the jugs, everything arranged skillfully, I mean, when does something like this happen? It felt like we had gone back in time when mom used to make us breakfast, no buffet with freshly thawed pastries, everything prepared with care and attention, milk, coffee, fruit juices, homemade jams, biscuits, etcetera, in short, a relaxing breakfast, with a view of the valley, and the whole terrace for us. Excellent indeed. The house is then wonderful, still immersed in its history, perfectly furnished by the landlady with excellent taste, period terracotta floors and wooden beams on the first floor, huge beds, large wardrobes, and so many memories hanging on the walls and on the dressers, all this together felt pleasantly like being at home. I repeat it once again, hoping that perhaps the owners also read it, because I really want to thank them for what they offered us and for the freedom they gave us. Thank you for everything and I hope to return soon and maybe stay a few more days.

Il mio intento è proprio quello che hai descritto molto bene, se una casa è stata attraversata da decenni di storia e di vite per arrivare quasi intatta a noi un perché ci deve essere, forse dobbiamo "ricordare" e "sentire" senza i rumori giornalieri e la quotidianità. Per il resto ti ringrazio molto e spero che possiate rimanere qualche giorno in più la prossima volta così la bella Verona offrirà anche percorsi meno battuti ma senza dubbio particolari e suggestivi.
