Descrizione

The B&B LA GERLA is a tipical country house of the 18th century, it is surrounded by nature in a peaceful environment. We are in Bussolengo, in ten minutes from the center of Verona and 10 minutes from lake Garda and we are ideally situated both for business trips and for holidays.

La Gerla has two double rooms and a single room, all have private bathroom and toilet, tv and wireless internet connection.

They have wooden beams and parquet and they are tastefully furnished and decorated.

A parking area is available for our guests and a nice garden where breakfast is served in spring and summer.

A B&B with an old-fashioned, authentic taste, simple as we like it, where you breathe the air of home, welcomed by the hosts like old friends. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, the history behind every piece of furniture, object, material, the cleanliness, the great breakfast, and especially the friendliness, kindness, and availability of the owners. Highly recommended also for its strategic location, which allows you to reach the center of Verona, Lake Garda, theme parks, and Valpolicella in just a few minutes by car.

My girlfriend and I decided to spend our anniversary in the Verona area, between lakes, spas, charming villages, and art, all accompanied by spring. Finding this B&B was a real stroke of luck, as is evident from the ratings there were no problems, only pleasant surprises that allowed us to enjoy a wonderful anniversary. In particular, the location of the establishment, the cleanliness, and the legendary host Mauro were definitely the strong points. Mauro always welcomed us like friends, gave us precise and very useful advice for making the most of what we wanted to do, along with an excellent breakfast to start the day off right! Thanks to him, we had no problems and explored the Verona area as if it were our home. Highly recommended!

Excellent Bed and Breakfast in a strategic location as it is halfway between Lake Garda and Verona. Well-furnished room equipped with everything necessary. It is worth noting the abundant breakfast, both sweet and savory, but above all I wanted to highlight the kindness, availability, and friendliness of the manager Mauro. Highly recommended property!

Host Mauro is very kind and caring, the decor is a bit shabby and a bit French Provencal style, beautiful clean and cozy room, nice bathroom, and beautiful geographical location because it is 10 km from Verona and 15 km from the lake and Gardaland and 6 km from the zoo, and a few km from Valpolicella, so very strategic, despite being in the middle of the countryside and close to a busy road but almost not heard, nor seen. To come back!

Everything was perfect! The location of the B&B directly at the highway exit and only 30 minutes from Lake Garda and even less from Verona was more than convenient. All in a charming house, in the countryside and at the foot of agricultural fields. A crush for Mauro and his welcome could not have been warmer and friendlier. His valuable advice - whether it was about the paths to take, the villages to visit, the restaurants to eat at, etc., everything was top notch to make this stay even more enjoyable and magical, and the breakfast, a real delight to last a good part of the day. We will keep a memorable memory, that's for sure.

We were lucky enough to stay at this gem of a B&B on New Year's Eve and we were pleasantly surprised by the truly well-kept structure in every detail: spacious and beautiful rooms also equipped with a kettle for tea-infusions, parking in front, very tidy and well-furnished common area.\n\nThe owners were immediately kind and very helpful, the breakfast abundant and varied with local products, jams and cakes made by them, toasted bread, fruit, cold cuts and cheeses, warm brioches. In short, there's something for everyone!\nThe location is really convenient to reach Bardolino and Verona in about fifteen minutes and Lazise in ten minutes. Extremely well-kept environments and courtesy and attention to the guest are really worth mentioning because it's not something taken for granted to find nowadays.\n\nThanks again and we will definitely be back.\n\nSee you soon.\n\nPaola Alessia and Stefano.

Excellent facility convenient to reach the various attractions in the surroundings of Verona (we stayed there for the Christmas market in Bussolengo). Perhaps a bit difficult to find the first time but then it is easy to move around (by car). Very kind the managers, beautiful and very clean room, excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Good morning, Welcome, kindness, availability, beautiful room, strategic location. We come from Belgium and spent 5 very beautiful nights at this B&B ideally located between the south of Lake Garda and the beautiful city of Verona. From here, you can travel by car throughout the region or even by train from Verona (towards Venice, for example). We have a great memory of our stay in this magnificent place. In fact, this charming B&B is decorated with great refinement and taste, everything is perfectly designed, very clean and comfortable (very good beds and air conditioning!). La Gerla is a welcoming place where you feel good, especially thanks to the hosts Mauro and Elisa who are remarkably kind. From the first minutes we felt welcomed and "at home". For 5 days Mauro enthusiastically advised us on places to visit, some of which are not mentioned in tourist guides but are worth a visit! Mauro, who knows the area very well, is also an expert in the "homemade plan" that he personally designs providing all the practical advice to make your travels easier. The breakfast? Simply perfect, a real moment of happiness every time! In the shade, very abundant and varied but above all served with an incomparable good mood. You will also have a comfortable parking lot that is part of the property. You will see on the map that the main road is very close, but honestly from the room you will not hear anything, we slept very well. We hope to return to this beautiful region because we did not have time to see everything, and it is certain that we will return to Mauro and Elisa. The BnB is rustic and at the same time very modern. Mauro has decorated it incredibly lovingly and beautifully. He is very attentive to the guests and helps with all questions. We have been staying at this magnificent B&B for 4/5 years, the owners Mauro and Elisa are always kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is always plentiful and delicious (especially the cherry jam made by the owners). The location is great, you can reach the main locations in a few minutes. We recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a unique and relaxing vacation.

B&B in the countryside very nice and welcoming. In a strategic position to visit Verona, Lake Garda, and Valpolicella. All within a few minutes by car. Very kind owners and available to meet any need. Just to put the icing on the cake, I would recommend integrating breakfast with a savory choice or homemade cakes. I highly recommend it to those who want to visit the area and also to families with children like us to go to the Garda parks.

Beautiful house - we saw several of the rooms and they are all extremely tasteful and comfortable. Amazing views of the mountains. The garden was perfect for relaxing in after a hard day of sightseeing. The breakfast was very generous and very tasty - two days included homemade cakes. Very quick and easy drives to Lake Garda and Verona. Host Mauro was amazing! He took ages explaining the local area to us, gave us a hand-drawn map and was full of brilliant suggestions on where to head off to for the day. Very, very lovely man! Couldn't fault any of it, can't wait to come back!
