In the heart of the fantastic Eastern Dolomites, family-run B&B La Genzianella, open all year round, is a private house with a large garden, gazebo and barbecue and a private car park in the village of Caralte di Perarolo di Cadore (Belluno).

You can put the stress of daily life behind you when you get to the B&B. The quiet and calm village of Caralte has preserved the charm of a typical mountain village dating to the Middle Ages and offers the full range of entertainment activities and opportunities for relaxation. There’s a host of great trips to take from here but that's not all. There are a great many activities too.

The village of Caralte di Cadore, founded in the Middle Ages, is only 5 minutes away from the historic town of Pieve di Cadore where the celebrated artist Titian was born, 30 minutes from famous Cortina D'Ampezzo and Auronzo di Cadore, 40 minutes from Comelico, Sappada and Val Zoldana and approximately an hour from romantic Venice.

The Cadore area includes Auronzo, Santo Stefano and San Vito.

B&B La Genzianella is in a quiet and relaxing location.

Our breakfast, a good awakening
In order to start the day in a positive way, breakfast is for sure one of the most important moment of your stay. We prepare breakfast every day with a special care, using, if possible, typical products coming straight from our land.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:00 am in a dedicated room at the heart of a pleasant attic. When the weather allows it, it is served in a wide garden, admiring by the wonderful landscape of the Dolomites.

We welcome you with croissants, bread, many types of crispbread, jams, honey, spreading creams, cereals, yoghurt, biscuits and, under request, even salted food.

We offer you also beverages, coffee, barley, milk, tea, infusions, fruit juices and freshly-squeezed juices.

Hello! My name is Carmen, and I manage the B&B La Genzianella, along with my mother Luigina and my son Gabriele. Our cozy and welcoming atmosphere is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, especially for those coming from the bustling city. During the summer months, we are lucky to enjoy cooler mountain temperatures, making our days more pleasant. In the winter, snowfall transforms our small town into a charming, timeless winter wonderland.

Our stay at the B&B La Genzianella was perfect. It is easy to reach and is immersed in a green and quiet area. The room was very clean, very comfortable, and cool. The owner Carmen gave us great advice on how to spend our days and also where to eat. We really had a lovely stay and will definitely come back.

I was pleasantly surprised by both the simple but very clean room and the management of the property. Carmen and her mother are truly hospitable! They did everything possible to make our stay satisfying. They gave us advice on trekking to do and where to eat well but at reasonable prices. Even the bed was comfortable including the pillow. The location of the property, although not in the high mountains, allows you to reach starting points for reaching high altitudes and shelters in 20 minutes. Experience to be repeated. We had a great time. The structure was nice and clean, located in a quiet and strategic area that allows easy access to Cortina and the Belluno Dolomites. The owner is very friendly and always available if needed. Recommended for those who want to relax and take a break for a few days from the city rhythms. Excellent breakfasts with fresh and, above all, delicious products!

Comfortable and family-friendly environment, helpful and kind people, always ready to meet the needs of the customer. The location is optimal and despite the main road not far away, the environment is calm and relaxing, ideal for a starting point for great excursions along the entire valley. Mrs. Carmen and her mother are exquisite, kind, and helpful people. Excellent and plentiful breakfasts! Highly recommended.

Very welcoming and clean structure, located a few kilometers from Longarone and Pieve di Cadore. Mrs. Carmen is very kind and helpful, she immediately managed to make us feel "at home". Abundant breakfast that satisfies all tastes. We have promised ourselves to return, definitely recommended!
