Description
The Bed and Breakfast “Il Vecchio Noce” (the old walnut) lies in the historical centre of Nebbiù, the smallest village of Pieve di Cadore city council. This village is surrounded by the Dolomites, mountains recently entered in the Unesco Heritage. Nebbiù is the perfect place to rest and relax in touch with the nature, in a little village without traffic (except few residents and tourist' cars).
In a ancient house, recently refurbished following the tradition of the area, they have been created 3 bedrooms for the B&B (2 with bathroom). The dining room represents the common space dedicated to the guests. “Il Vecchio Noce” offers a wide garden with fruit trees, pets and farm animals (ducks, geese, chickens and rabbits). Close to the building you can find a nice playground.
For people loving trekking, you can find an extensive choice of nature trails, as from Nebbiù there are several paths for different demands and skills. Walks to Pozzale, Tai, Pieve and Valle, harder excursions that heads toward Antelao mountain (one of the highest pick of the Dolomites). From Pieve di Cadore then start the Alta Via (High way) delle Dolomiti n.4 (leading to S. Candido in Pusteria) and the Alta Via delle Dolomiti n.5 (to Sesto in Pusteria); there are the Alta Via delle Dolomiti n.6 (running from Piave's rise to Vittorio Veneto) and the Path of the Dolomites crossing the town too.
For the lovers of bike, just 1 km from Nebbiù it has been created the bicycle path of the Dolomites. The way starts from Calalzo di Cadore and, crossing Cortina d'Ampezzo and Dobbiaco, arrives in Austria.
At the moment we do not have a private parking, but it is possible to park the car in the square of the village, that lies just 50 mt away.

La gestione è impeccabile, per disponibilità e accoglienza. Stanza ben tenuta e pulita ogni giorno. La colazione top, tutto fatto in casa. Lo strudel di Sara non ha prezzo! Ci ritorneremo senza dubbio!

La nostra camera era in mansarda. Come abbiamo aperto la porta siamo rimasti senza parole. Stupenda! Il B&B è gestito da ragazze giovani, gentilissime e disponibili.
Fin da subito abbiamo goduto di tutta l'indipendenza possibile. Se c'era la possibilità parcheggiavamo l'auto in cortile, se il posto era già occupato la mettevamo nel parcheggio della Chiesa che dista a pochi passi.
Molto bella anche la zona con gli animali da cortile come galline, anatre, e oche; per chi ha bambini piccoli come noi sono sempre una bella forma di intrattenimento.

Il letto è comodo, la camera è molto silenziosa, il bagno è grande. La ristrutturazione ha lasciato alcuni bei tocchi antichi (la scala in legno, ad esempio). La sala della colazione è arredata con mobili in legno scolpiti a mano, che danno una bella atmosfera all'ambiente. La colazione comprende torte fatte in casa e biscotti locali, oltre naturalmente all'immancabile speck per chi preferisce il salato. I proprietari sono molto cortesi.

Situato in una frazione silenziosa, immerso nel verde adiacente al torrente. Casa molto curata e pulita, si respira aria autentica. I proprietari sono stati molto accoglienti e disponibili a darci indicazioni su ristoranti ed escursioni. Luogo incantevole.

Bel B&B, rustico ma con gusto. Molto simpatiche le ragazze che lo gestiscono insieme a Nicola. Bello il panorama. È bello tornare dalla montagna e venire accolti con un bicchiere di sciroppo di sambuco preparato in casa. Gesti che rimangono. Grazie.

Non avrei parole per descrivere location, accoglienza, pulizia, proprietà e altre qualità che caratterizzano questo speciale B&B.
Potrei solo dirvi che l'equipe è diventata una parte della mia famiglia e aver lasciato per ben 2 volte quel posto mozzafiato mi ha davvero scalfito, ma purtroppo non tutto è per sempre.
Provate per credere e ci ritornerete appena potrete.

Bella struttura, pulita e confortevole. Ottima anche per una fuga d'amore.
La colazione ben organizzata, con un clima molto rilassante e familiare. Bello l'arredamento interno, si vede che la signora dedica molte attenzione a tutti i dettagli del suo B&B.
