Area city center
Corso Fogazzaro is one of the most charming streets in Vicenza's historic center, a place where architectural elegance blends with the city's vibrant life. Strolling along it immerses you in an authentic dimension, where time seems to pass at a slower pace, amidst noble palaces, historic shops, and glimpses that tell the story of the city. The area is particularly beloved for its refined yet informal atmosphere, where the charm of a vibrant, everyday Vicenza still permeates.

A few steps away is the Basilica Palladiana, one of the city's most iconic symbols, overlooking Piazza dei Signori, the hub of public and cultural life. Here, art exhibitions, markets, musical events, and seasonal events enliven the square with elegance and participation. Not far away, the Teatro Olimpico—an extraordinary work by Andrea Palladio and the first covered masonry theater in history—enchants with its original wooden scenography and perfect perspective.

The area is perfectly served: quality shops, independent bookstores, pastry shops, traditional restaurants, and historic cafés enrich the traveler's experience and invite them to discover the city in an authentic way, combining taste and culture. Strolling along Corso Fogazzaro and the surrounding streets means tapping into the true soul of Vicenza, far from the crowded tourist routes but at the heart of its history.

The Berici Hills are also easily accessible from the area, with their Palladian villas nestled among vineyards, woods, and scenic routes, ideal for those who love walking or cycling amidst nature and art. Finally, thanks to its proximity to the train station, Corso Fogazzaro is also a strategic starting point for visiting other art cities in the Veneto region, such as Padua, Verona, Venice, or the historic villages of Marostica, Thiene, and Bassano del Grappa.
