Perfect location, a few steps from Prato della Valle. Car parking not available but can be found in the surrounding area with a bit of patience. Everything very clean, Wi-Fi working, heating ok, varied and abundant breakfast. The lady is kind and very precise, always present, made us feel truly welcome guests. Without a doubt, we would return to this b&b if we had to stay in Padua. I recommend it. Rating 10!

Excellent location and easily accessible by public transport in a beautiful and quiet area. My stay was perfect, especially thanks to the excellent communication with the very kind Mrs. Chiara, caring, available, and attentive to meeting my needs. The structure is welcoming, and the room has everything necessary for a comfortable stay and is also very clean. Definitely recommended for anyone wishing to spend some days in Padua in comfort and tranquility.

The B&B is in an ideal position to visit Padova. All sites are in walking distance. It is calm and you can sleep with open window. Chiara is a very caring host and organizes all needs and information. Though you have to park your car in public spaces, these are available in the area. We parked in a residential street without fees 3 minutes walking from the place. A worthy place to stay for a visit to Padova.

The 7 nights at 'Il Bastione' were an absolute highlight of my 3-week trip to Italy. Chiara, who runs this incredibly harmonious and beautiful B&B, is a kind soul. She is so friendly, extremely likable, and always helpful and accommodating. I felt welcome and at home from the very first second. The whole house has a wonderful aura. It is located in close proximity (almost at the rear) of the Basilica of Santa Giustina. The rooms are decorated with a lot of love and taste. Within a few minutes, you are at the Prato della Valle and at the Basilica of St. Anthony. Chiara, thank you very much and all the best. See you soon :-).

I would highly recommend Il Bastione.
The host was exceptional in making you feel at home and comfortable.

Soggiorno perfetto sotto tutti i punti di vista. La struttura è vicinissima a Prato della Valle e quindi in un posizione veramente comoda. All'ingresso una libreria piena ti accoglie e ti fa subito sentire a casa. La nostra camera (la numero 3, al secondo piano) era molto ampia con soffitto a travi, letto comodo, bagno piccolo ma molto funzionale; la colazione più che abbondante, pulizia impeccabile. Merita un cenno la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Chiara, che ci ha accontentato per un paio di richieste particolari, come la colazione anticipata domenica mattina per mio marito che correva la maratona. Assolutamente da consigliare!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo B&B per motivi di lavoro. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la disponibilità della Signora Chiara, la pulizia degli ambienti e la posizione della struttura. Se dovessimo tornare a Padova, non esiteremo a soggiornare nuovamente qui.

Abbiamo passato al B&B Il bastione due notti e siamo molto soddisfatti della nostra scelta! La camera è spaziosa, bellissime le travi a vista e il parquet, unico appunto il bagno un po' piccolo ma assolutamente vivibile.
La signora che gestisce il B&B è infinitamente gentile e disponibile e ci ha fatto sentire subito i benvenuti.
La colazione è buona e abbondante. Consiglio assolutamente!

La struttura è graziosa, ordinata e soprattutto pulita. Camera con travi a vista e arredo caldo in legno. Vicina al centro di Padova.
La padrona di casa è persona sensibile, accogliente e molto attenta agli ospiti ed ai loro bisogni.
Ottima colazione, ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo.

Le B&B est très accueillant, décoré avec gout et chaleureux. Dans un quartier calme qui permet de visiter la ville à pied. La propriétaire est non seulement charmante et disponible pour répondre aux questions mais aussi très génèreuse de son temps. J'espère retourner à Padoue pour y séjourner à nouveau.

Avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour au B&B Il Bastione à Padoue.
C'est très confortable, calme, propre et lumineux. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût et simplicité. Localisé près du Prato della Valla et bien desservi par les transports publics. Mais on peut facilement tout faire à pied. Notre logeuse a été charmante, disponible et aux petits soins, elle nous a permis grâce à sa gentillesse et sa persévérance de finaliser une réservation à la chapelle des Scrovegni.
B&B a recommander pour qui veut découvrir Padoue, en alliant cadre agréable et accueil chaleureux.
