Description

Casa al Carmine is located adjacent to the Carmine Basilica, perched on the fourth and fifth floors of a spacious building, which provides enviable tranquility despite being only a stone's throw away from the train station and city center.

From its windows, you can overlook the entire surrounding area, and from its immense and spacious terrace, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Padua.

The common areas and rooms are generous in size, and everything is designed to make you feel at home away from home.

If you wish, for a small fee, you can cook your meals and use the laundry facilities. There is a large indoor breakfast room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a laundry room for guests' use.

The staff is attentive to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The atmosphere is simple and informal, and the ambiance is welcoming and peaceful.

It is located at Via Vendramini, 1 in Padua, 700 meters from the train station and about 500 meters from the city center.

Access is convenient by elevator from the inner courtyard, where you can arrive by car.

It offers the possibility of 9 private parking spaces, with video surveillance access, bookable on request, subject to availability, for €7 per day.

It is easy to reach from the A4 motorway, both from PD West and PD East.

There are 26 spacious and bright rooms available, all with en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have the possibility of an additional bed and come with their own air conditioning and TV system. Free Wi-Fi is available in common areas.

Cots and cribs are also available for children.

Great location, with clean and well-maintained facilities. What really made the difference was the exceptional service, everyone was extremely helpful and kind. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location, easily accessible from the highway and just steps from the center, 15 minutes to Piazza delle Erbe, and walking through some streets of Padua is a pleasure. The environment is clean, tidy, and the staff is very courteous and very kind as they immediately called us back for a forgotten piece of clothing. I think if I had to return to Padua, I would keep it as my first option. Moreover, the cost is more than fair compared to other options. Due to personal reasons, I did not have breakfast, but my wife and son returned after 40 minutes with good food options and relaxing chats. Overall, a very short but pleasant and well-organized stay. Well done.

Although not in the city center, the property is convenient to the train station and located in a very quiet area. The room is spacious, as well as the bathroom, compared to other facilities I had been to before. The view is beautiful, I didn't use it, but the availability of a kitchen can be a great opportunity. There are shops nearby in case of need, like bars and a small supermarket. Without a doubt, I would come back.

Clean and bright room, the bathroom needs to be reviewed in some parts (shower box a bit battered). Welcoming environment and terrace with a splendid view. Friendly and helpful staff. Self-service breakfast with a wide variety and kitchen available to guests.

Strategically located property for a city walking tour. It's a pity that at the time of the phone booking I was given a price, but then we had to pay much more. Moreover, I had asked if there was the possibility of having a parking space, it's a pity I wasn't told that I should have booked it immediately, at the time of booking, and paid for it separately. Obviously, upon our arrival, the parking space was not available, maybe there would have been something the next day. Fortunately, we found a zero-cost solution through local friends. Lack of transparency, I doubt we will return.

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Less than a ten-minute walk from the train station and on the edge of the historic center. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Minor problems with the air conditioning. The building itself seemed to be a repurposed long-term care facility, and was highly functional but somewhat institutional in character. Likewise, the operation seemed new, so there were a few logistical issues to be resolved (e.g., the shared refrigerator contained some items left behind by previous guests). Breakfast was fresh but basic continental. Highly recommended unless you expect to be pampered.
