Description

Very central, somehow vintage, a few meters away from the "Ponte Vecchio", ideal for those who want to walk around town with no stress for the car.

It offers wide common spaces and a terrace on the red roofs overlooking Bassano.

From each window and in every room, a different, colourful view of old Bassano del Grappa.

Available to the guests are:
- the Japanese Bedroom, double bed and private big bathroom;
- the French Bedroom, double bed and private bathroom.

Italian, English, French and Spanish spoken.

At the B&B we have a cat, we can host only very small dogs.

Secondo te cosa posso offrire oltre al caffè, il latte, te, yogurt, muesli, corn-flakes, succo di frutta, pane fresco dalla migliore panetterie, tre marmellate e burro a volontà, frutta di stagione e possibili dolcetti? We had booked a triple room because on the website the double room was no longer available. On arrival we were assigned the double room but the price remained that of the triple room. The difference was small, eight euros, but it bothered me a lot.

Carissimo Mauro, sono molto dispiaciuta tu non ti sia trovato bene. Ti assicuro che non ho cambiato camera e non hai pagato diversamente da quanto da listino. La camera tripla, chiamata anche camera giapponese, può ospitare fino a tre persone e il terzo letto è allestito quando richiesto. Il costo per il terzo letto è di 30€ come specificato nella descrizione. Credo il tuo disappunto sia dovuto ad uno spiacevole malinteso. Sarà mia cura rendere la descrizione più chiara.

Our stay at Downtown B&B was fantastic. It’s in a great location for exploring the city. Luisa was very welcoming and made us feel at home, she was also very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and had great restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was delicious.

Our stay in Bassano was really nice and that's also thanks to this beautiful B&B in the city center (incredibly perfect position!). It was really relaxing to just leave our car in a free parking lot nearby (5-min. walk) and enjoy the city on foot. The house is full of art, books and music and Luisa, the host, is incredibly kind and welcoming. She's been helpful and nice with us and our kid and dog, I really thank her for everything.

The B&B is located in the center of Bassano, not far from the station. The house is very beautiful and the welcome was truly warm. The breakfast was very good. Even their cat was very welcoming. If you are looking for a picturesque and comfortable place, then this is the place for you.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The bedroom is comfortable with plenty of space. The adjoining private bathroom is well laid out. Breakfast is amazing and the host is very knowledgeable of the area and surrounds as well as being multilingual which makes it very easy. We enjoy it so much we have stayed here many times.

Excellent accommodation in the center of Bassano. Free parking a few minutes' walk away and the possibility of access to the ZTL for loading and unloading luggage. The Nordic room, where we slept, is quiet enough to allow for a peaceful sleep with the window open. Downtown B&B recommended also for the excellent breakfast and the hospitality of the hostess.

Luisa offered a relaxing home in an ideal location to enjoy Bassano. Her meals were delicious and authentic. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. Pamuk was always waiting to greet me at the door. As I departed I felt I knew the bridge, the river and the museums and squares really well like a friend.

Everything went very well, from the booking (without a deposit and including the possibility of cancelling for major reasons without losing anything), to the welcome, the stay, the breakfast. The only small downside is the great confusion and noise until very late in the street under the windows of the room. It is recommended to replace the glass (or - better - the fixtures) with thermally insulated laminated glass with strong sound insulation.

Spacious apartment, furnished with originality. Excellent location, unbeatable. Comfortable room. Very hospitable manager. Observation: perhaps it should not be a rule that guests take off their shoes at the entrance. And slippers should be disposable.

The owner of Downtown B&B is very welcoming, satisfied all our requests, making us feel at home. He enriched our stay with very useful tips on things to visit and typical dishes to try. Highly recommended also because it is a stone's throw from the Ponte Vecchio and therefore from the historic center. Very welcoming structure, with the main characteristic of a typical roof with exposed wooden beams and well-maintained parquet flooring.

The structure is in a very convenient location to explore the historic center and various points of interest. The room was well furnished, clean, had a great view, and perfect for a couple. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful, also very satisfying was the hospitality of host Luisa, who provided us with all the necessary information to visit Bassano city at its best. I stayed here for a month for work and I had a great time. \nBeing my first time in Bassano, it was a pleasant surprise to start right here. \nLuisa is a very welcoming, fun host with a special focus on sustainability issues. \nThe peculiarity of the house is the furniture, there are hidden gems to discover in every corner. \nRegarding the location, it's very central, within the walls and a stone's throw from the Ponte degli Alpini and the main squares. \nFor those arriving by car, it can be parked in a free parking lot less than 10 minutes away on foot, it's also convenient for those arriving from the station.

Madame Balestra is extremely welcoming and helpful. She speaks French fluently. Her historical and tourist knowledge of the city and its surroundings enhanced our stay.
