Description
In the heart of a green valley at an altitude of one thousand meters, in Campitello – the main village of the municipality of San Nicolò di Comelico – this independent cottage features two cozy apartments, warmly decorated in authentic mountain style. Surrounded by a well-maintained garden and framed by a revitalizing alpine landscape, the property serves as an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and beauty just steps away from nature.
Upon arrival, a white building with a wooden staircase welcomes you amidst rose bushes and serenity. The apartments are perfect for couples looking for intimacy, but also suitable for families or small groups of up to four people. Notable features include free parking and a private garden, a rare luxury in the area.
The hospitality is directly managed by the owner, who is always available to assist with any needs during your stay. Check-in can be done in person to receive recommendations and useful information, or independently for those who prefer more privacy.
Just a short walk away, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable and authentic holiday: a bar, a butcher, a grocery store with local products, an e-bike rental, and a bus stop. There is even a shop for ski goggles and masks, directly run by the hostess.
The location is perfect for exploring the area: from the majestic Tre Cime di Lavaredo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the trails of the Great War, as well as the cycling routes that traverse the Dolomitic landscapes. Nearby, you can also find wellness areas in Sesto and San Candido, ski resorts in Sappada, Padola, and Sesto, and the picturesque Lake Braies.

Our facility is located in San Nicolò di Comelico, a charming mountain village in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, bordering South Tyrol and Austria. This is the perfect place for those looking to immerse themselves in tranquility, unspoiled nature, and breathtaking landscapes.
The area boasts an extensive network of trails and paths that wind through forests, alpine pastures, and dolomite peaks. Among the favorite destinations are the De Doo Refuge and the Rinfreddo Refuge, ideal resting spots for hikers and mountain enthusiasts. In winter, these trails transform into perfect routes for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or ski mountaineering.
For history and local culture enthusiasts, a visit to the picturesque Church of San Nicolò is a must, known for its 16th-century frescoes, as well as the "Algudnei" Ethnographic Museum in Dosoledo, which houses artifacts, costumes, and traditions of the Ladin communities in Comelico.
A short distance away is the stunning Val Visdende, described by Pope John Paul II as "the cathedral of nature": a vast, untouched valley rich in nature trails and picnic areas, perfect for recharging away from mass tourism.
Another excursion not to be missed is to the famous Lake Braies, one of the most photographed and admired alpine lakes in Italy, accessible in about an hour by car. Its turquoise waters, nestled between the dolomite peaks, provide a fairy-tale setting, ideal for a day trip.
San Nicolò di Comelico serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the wonders of the Dolomites: from the Tre Cime di Lavaredo to the Monte Croce Pass, and up to the Sesto Dolomites Natural Park. Whether you are a nature lover, sports enthusiast, or culture seeker, you will find an authentic and welcoming corner here, where you can experience the mountains in every season.
