Description

Cosy & romantic suite over 2 floors. Facing south-east. Heating NOT INCLUDED: €2/hour. The apartments feature independent heating systems with thermostats. In Winter guests use on average 3 hours a day the heating. Pet fee €30 per pet (one-time). Socket for electric car charge: EUR 0, 55 per KWh.

The two apartments are located on the first floor of the building and are accessible from the rear entrance. Suites Cristallo and Faloria are spread over two floors and each apartment is 26 sq m. The living room and cooking area are on the first floor, the double bedroom and the bathroom on the second. All rooms are wood furnished with exposed beams. They are cosy and romantic, perfect for couples. Sunny and quiet location (apartments and balconies are facing south-east). Cooking area: 2-zone induction hob, microwave oven, fridge, pots, dishes, cutlery, toaster & electric kettle. 40" flat TV in the living room as well as in the bedroom for the Suite Cristallo, 32" flat TV in the living room for the Suite Faloria. Bathrooms equipped with hairdryer. On the ground floor there are a covered place for bikes/ski/ski boots, washing maschine and dryer. There is only one parking space per apartment in front of the house. Water, power, Wi-Fi via fiber optic (FTTC), bed linens, bathroom/kitchen towels, final cleaning fee and one parking space are included. Small and medium size pets accepted only with prior approval of the owner. Owner on the spot. Regardless of length of stay, no change of bath/kitchen towels or bed linen will be provided, following Ordinance 19/3/2014, n. 6501 of Corte di Cassazione (Court of Appeal). The bus stop is 130 m away from the house. 6 runs in the morning and 4 in the afternoon to the town center. In winter every 15 minutes a ski bus runs from the town center to the ski areas.

Zone demi-centre-ville

The hamlet is one of the most evocative and inviting areas of Cortina. It is characterised by the timbered houses and the small church of Santa Giuliana. There are two restaurants within 200 meters of the house. Two paid playgrounds for children are about 1 and 2 km away from the house. In Winter the street which goes through Alverà and takes you to the 3 Croci pass does not suffer the heavy return traffic from the ski slopes of 5 torri-Socrepes. The link to the ski lifts of Faloria and Cristallo (4, 5 km) is good: you can reach these ski areas from the chiarlifts of Rio Gere and avoid the parking problems and the long waiting times at the cable car of the town center in high season. The house is just 1, 4 km from the Faloria cable car station away.

The apartment was excellent, and the host, Giovanni, was very nice and provided the necessary assistance to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The apartment is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and is fully equipped with kitchenware. The surroundings are very beautiful and convenient for getting around all the scenic areas. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to explore the Cortina area.

I can say that staying at this property was the best experience of my recent trip to Europe. As for the location, it's actually a bit far from the city center, but I found an amazing view there. I felt like I had found the imaginary place in the novel I'm currently writing. It's not the same, but the feeling I had while I was there was similar. The property is clean, and the host is very welcoming and friendly. He even picked us up at the bus station, which was really helpful since it was May Day and the buses were on holiday. So giving it a perfect rating seems appropriate because I was truly happy there.

Small accommodation very well decorated and furnished. There are all the utensils needed for basic cooking. The cleanliness is remarkable. There is even a small balcony with chairs and a small table to enjoy the sun's rays. A drying rack is also available. The accommodation is slightly outside the village, but it is easily accessible on foot. The site is located in a quiet area. You can hear the neighbors a little from time to time. Very good value for money. Thanks to the host for the welcome and availability when we needed information.

This is an absolutely amazing apartment! Great views from the Alvera section of Cortina. Waking up every morning with the view of Faloria through the windows was wonderful. The apartment was immaculately clean. It is cozy and quaint, perfect for a single traveler or a couple. I really liked the two-level layout, with the kitchen and dining area below and the bedroom and bathroom in the loft above. There is a small private outdoor deck as well. It is a convenient 25-minute walk down to the center of Cortina (there is a 150 m elevation gain for healthy pedestrians). It is far enough off the main roads that there is absolutely no noise from cars or town traffic. I was lucky enough to stay at this apartment during the 2026 Winter Olympics, and it was great. Giovanni was an amazing host who went out of his way to make my stay so enjoyable. Thank you so much, and I will definitely be back.

Small apartment consisting of a kitchen/living room fully equipped and a wooden mezzanine with a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Poor sound insulation both toward the entrance atrium and the adjacent apartment. It takes at least 4 hours a day to heat it in winter. Parking space available next to the road. The owner Giovanni is very helpful and friendly. Nearby lawns are perfect for letting your four-legged friend run free.

Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The accommodation was extremely clean, comfortable and better than described. This unique lodging is attached to a traditional Cortina d'Ampezzo country house with sweeping views of the area. We appreciated having a kitchen, which can be hard to find in this resort. The bathroom and bed are reached by narrow stairs. Voices and footsteps can be heard through the thin walls shared between the two townhouses.

Great place, cosy with good amenities. Fantastic backyard views. The location is a bit off from Cortina but is only about a 5-minute drive away. As such, the price is lower than the city centre, leading to very good value. The host speaks perfect English and is friendly and responsive. The only downside is that the soundproofing is not great, and you can hear your neighbours even if they are just doing normal things, but this isn't a very big issue if you're okay with a bit of noise.

A truly lovely and welcoming apartment. Compact, clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with a TV, stove, dishes, towels, a toaster, and even playing cards. It had everything we needed (and more) for a perfect stay. The location is great, just a quick 5-minute drive from the city center. Good morning. The rating should be interpreted depending on how a person plans their holidays and the period in which they take them. In my case, being in August and being an avid hiker, it is perfect. What can I say: the real attraction is the Dolomites with their many hiking opportunities for all levels. Cortina is a bit chaotic and full of traffic. Finding a parking space is not easy, not even if you pay. It is still worth seeing. I would recommend a different time of year. Unfortunately, I can only come in August. Thank you.

Clean, tidy and nice apartment. Please note, there are only 2 small burners, so we did not cook ourselves. With the car, you can easily get to the center of Cortina, but without a car it is not doable (steep, mountainous terrain, high altitude). Overall, we had a lovely stay!

This place was unbelievable with an out of this world view. A cozy and clean apartment in the middle of the Dolomiti. It is well equipped for cooking and a very nice design that fits with the mountain vibe. Giovanni is an amazing host that was always available if we needed something. He even offered to pick us up from the bus stop. This place made our experience at Cortina even better and we are super lucky to have found it. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Overall spectacular, easy arrival and communication with Giovanni! Very clean with everything needed and a great location. The only thing I would say is that I would have liked to know upon check-in that if we raised the heating it was an additional charge, given that when he explained it to us we did not know, the rest is highly recommended.

Nice holiday flat just 1 km east of Cortina d'Ampezzo in a quiet village "Alvera" with 2 restaurants within walking distance. Flat is compact, but comfortable for a couple and a family with just one child OR two adult friends on holiday together. You get a garage and a good rate for charging electric cars from mains socket. Host lives next door is nice and attentive.
