Malga Zebari is a country house located in Velo Veronese, in the heart of the Lessinia region, surrounded by an authentic rural landscape to which the owning family has a deep connection. The structure is set amidst pastures and has been developed from the restoration of an old small barn that was once used by the grandparents to shelter livestock. The renovation has carefully preserved the stones, slabs, and typical architecture of the local malghe, highlighting the wood that features prominently throughout the spaces, providing warmth, light, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Designed to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, the country house is equipped with an elevator and is accessible for individuals with disabilities. Special attention is also given to families with children, thanks to dedicated spaces both indoors and outdoors, as well as numerous useful amenities including high chairs, bottle warmers, cribs, child carriers for hiking, sleds, and toboggans for winter fun.
The four rooms, two doubles and two triples with the option for an extra bed, are named after symbolic trees of the area: Linden, Oak, Beech, and Birch. Their names are also inscribed on the doors in Cimbrian, the ancient dialect of the Bavarian settlers who arrived in Lessinia at the end of the 13th century. Bright and still fragrant with the scent of wood, the rooms offer warm and relaxing environments, while the bathrooms stand out with the vibrant touch of Vietri ceramics. We stayed for two nights. What can I say: enchanting property, nestled in greenery and absolute peace. Fabulous breakfast with local products and perfect cleanliness in every corner. Clara is very helpful with guests; she gave us great recommendations on where to dine and it was a pleasure to chat with her. We will definitely return to spend a few days on holiday.
