Descrizione

The house was built in 1800 and consists of two apartments. It was completely renovated in 2022 using eco-friendly materials and is powered by renewable energy sources. The cozy apartment is located on the ground floor, accessed by climbing 5 steps.

Originally, the house was an inn with a bar and a bocce field. Since the late 1800s, it has been inhabited by a wealthy family who expanded and made significant improvements to it. In 1975, it was purchased by the current owner's parents, who completely renovated it while preserving the original structures that echo the emotions of the past, combined with modern comforts. The accommodation is located in a quiet area at the foot of Mount Summano in the municipality of Santorso, province of Vicenza, Veneto region, Italy. It is a good starting point for visiting Vicenza, Bassano, Marostica, Asiago, Padua, Verona, and Venice. For mountain enthusiasts, there are various excursions of varying difficulty in the surrounding mountains, accessible by car, on foot, by mountain bike, or other means, including the Altopiano del Tretto with its characteristic districts, Mount Summano at 1296 m, Mount Novegno at 1552 m, and the nearby Piccole Dolomiti and Mount Pasubio, which can be reached by car in half an hour. Our guests will have the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful landscapes in the area, as well as industrial archaeology, 19th-century villas, and gardens. Within a short distance from the property, those who stay with us will find places of interest to satisfy their desire for knowledge. The industrial area, Santorso Hospital, and Villa Miari, the venue for international physiotherapy courses, are all just a 10-minute drive away.

We offer our customers an apartment and a studio with a fully equipped kitchen-living room including a dishwasher, a bedroom with a private bathroom, a hairdryer, free fiber WiFi, a TV, a luggage rack, bed linen, towels, free parking in the courtyard, heated rooms, and a garden. Additionally, there is a vintage room that evokes the past and is accessible to guests. We provide books of all literary genres and brochures of interesting local places. If necessary, there is a storage room with cleaning equipment and a first aid kit.

I am a member of an association that promotes and protects the natural heritage and historical memory of the surrounding area. On the slopes of Mount Novegno, we have created a fairy tale trail where the story is experienced firsthand by those who walk the path, visited by families and school groups surrounded by sculptures and sounds. My husband and I have traveled extensively, always immersing ourselves as guests in various places to get to know the people, their lives, and their cultures in many parts of the world, bringing back memories and experiences that led us to embark on this new adventure.

The property is new, functional, very elegant, and complete with all the comforts, including laundry facilities and a bus stop a few minutes away on foot. The apartment where I spent a whole week is brand new, attention to detail, and welcoming. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the managers are very quick to respond. Everything worked perfectly. The location is excellent for reaching the sea, the mountains, the lake, and even the highway, which can be reached in 10 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity, there are trattorias and shops. I can recommend the structure with serenity and would choose it again if I needed to stay in the area. A thank you and goodbye to Gabriella and Roberto! And greetings to Santorso!

Wonderful, spectacular, and peaceful place, Casa Timonchio is very comfortable, refurbished, clean, beautiful, and welcoming, I felt at home. The views are incredible, they stole my heart, being able to go out on the terrace to read and watch the sunset... speechless, I felt a lot of calm and tranquility. There are many beautiful paths to explore around. Worth mentioning the hospitality and humility of Gabriella and Roberto, they are fantastic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! The bed and breakfast Casa Timonchio in Santorso (VI) is brand new, with parking, a beautiful garden, and, as a corollary, a splendid and majestic mountain. It is easily accessible from the highway, therefore convenient for traveling to other cities. The residence is beautiful, clean, and fragrant, furnished with sensitivity and taste and offers all the comforts one needs. In the common area of the two small apartments (Rosa and Ortensia), there are also a stone sink and a fireplace, symbols of the ancient residence, of enormous cultural value. The owners, Gabriella and her husband Roberto, new to this experience, are truly exquisite, very helpful and kind, attentive to the guests' needs. I must say that I found a truly enchanting gem and decent and down-to-earth people. I will definitely recommend it to my friends. Well done Gabriella and Roberto.

“Casa Timonchio”, Bed & Breakfast in Santorso, was a very pleasant discovery. The structure is brand new, beautiful, comfortable, functional, equipped with all comforts and furnished with great taste. It is located in a quiet area although just a few steps from the city center and surrounded by the splendid setting that nature offers with Mount Summano. Nature, beauty, and comfort at zero kilometers! Gabriella and her husband Roberto, the owners, are courteous, friendly, helpful, and attentive to every guest's need; they have created a truly enchanting little gem. My wife Lita and I spent a few days on vacation for Easter and we felt practically at home: this is the summary of our stay. We were really good. Furthermore, the area is well served by highways, so it is a valid base for touring and returning
