Description

Casa Oliva is a house that exudes art, architecture, and poetry. It is located in the center of Quero, between the UNESCO sites of the Dolomites and the Valdobbiadene Hills. The house features an internal garden, private parking (available upon request), a dining room, and a sitting room.

The six rooms are furnished in an Art Deco style and are named after different fabrics. Each room has a private bathroom, and some even have a sauna. Guests can enjoy a snack or dinner in addition to breakfast.

Electric bikes are available for rent (for a fee), and guests can use the tennis court for free, which is just a 5-minute walk away from the house. E-bike rentals are also available on-site.

Breakfast

Our breakfast is called Bondì (meaning good morning). Including both sweet and savoury foods, it is served on the large dining table in the living room. The produce we use is healthy and ripe, picked and processed in the local area. It is the result of time-honoured traditions, handed down to the younger generations who have managed to draw on age-old techniques and flavours, whilst combining them with contemporary tastes and way of life.

Enjoy cakes, biscuits and jams made in our own kitchens, traditional locally-sourced butter, deli meats, eggs, cheese, ricotta, local yoghurt and more besides: cereals, honey and fruit and nuts.

The coffee? At Casa Oliva Quero we make coffee using an old-fashioned coffee pot, just like at home.

And every day we serve up a special coffee while we tell you our stories about the special wedding budino or pudding, and Carlo Scarpa’s coffee. Did you know he used to make coffee using a Japanese coffee pot? Would you like to try it?.

Full marks for this 'Casa' structure from the reception and top availability! The sisters Barbara and Marica make you feel immediately 'at home' welcoming the guest with the utmost attention and great availability to requests/needs. Great location to move around the Piave Valley and reach many sought-after destinations (10 minutes from Feltre). Parking space, very spacious room, large and welcoming bathroom (maximum cleanliness), relaxing garden and always super breakfast. Excellent reference point for the future. See you soon with family in tow and... thank you!

What can I say, the scores I gave, already say it all: simply perfect in every way! We stayed two days at Casa Oliva Quero, the owners, Barbara and Marica, are fantastic: very kind and helpful for every need. The breakfasts, prepared directly by them, were nothing short of spectacular and very abundant. Always ready to give you all the possible suggestions on how to spend the day, providing a lot of information about this historically rich area. The building and the related annex have been recently renovated and the rooms, always spotless, have been furnished with extreme care and grace. We will definitely return very willingly to this property.

Ten perfect days. Casa Oliva Quero, beautiful and the result of careful renovation aimed at preserving its history. The attention, availability, and kindness of Mrs. Barbara and Marica. Their constant dedication, aimed at helping their guests treating them like family members and not just simple customers. The village of Quero was a pleasant discovery. The possibility of trekking routes suitable for anyone, regardless of their abilities, is diverse and allows you to enjoy a place that is not widely advertised but extremely beautiful. What more to say other than the fact that I had a great time?
