From here you can get anywhere in Venice whithin a few minutes by foot, adventuring on romantic journeys to discover the woders of the city or by boat taking a "vaporetto"(nearest stop Riva di Biasio, just few short steps from Casa Mimma).

Very clean, the manager was very friendly and detail-oriented, our train left very early and she left us some things for breakfast to take in a bag.

The bed is very comfortable, everything is perfectly clean and it's very close to the main station. The breakfast isn't so great and you don't get to choose what comes to the table. Overall, it's a good choice for a short stay.

Nice, clean rooms. Convenient location near the train station but also tucked in and private. Common bath was very warm but conveniently located two steps away from our room. Breakfast included croissants, toasted sliced bread, and coffee. Overall basic needs for one night were met. Would book again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Mimma. The owner was very responsive/helpful in answering our questions before and during our stay, especially the assistance/instructions for water taxi travel and the map was greatly appreciated. The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice though some fresh fruit and/or some yogurt would have been a nice addition and also eating outside in the garden area would have been nice.

We had a wonderful 3 days in Venice. The price-quality ratio is good. The accommodation is located in the quieter part of Venice. This is good, because you can comfortably reach the hustle and bustle in about ten minutes on foot if you wish. There are many restaurants in the area where you can also meet Venetians and have good conversations with the people. We were very satisfied with everything.

I was not careful when booking and did not notice that we booked a room without a bathroom. However, the hotel itself was very nice. Very good location, quiet street, beautiful patio where you can go out. Good temperature in the room. Responsiveness of the staff, a real desire to help.

Excellent bed and breakfast in a fantastic location. Spacious rooms equipped with everything you need. Very kind and helpful manager. If I may give two suggestions: provide each room with a bottle of water; for breakfast, offer some fruit juice.

The accommodation doesn't match what is shown on the website. The room for 4 people is very narrow. There is a double bed and two cots with thin and uncomfortable mattresses. There is no space to move around in the room. The cleanliness is average. The bathroom is small but functional. Breakfast is served in the corridor as soon as the door opens and consists of 1 croissant, a slice of toast, and two rusks with 2 portions of jam each. For those used to B&Bs or hotels with buffet breakfast, it might not be satisfying. The owner, a very kind Venetian, stood out from the other islanders who were very rude and impolite. For a 3-day stay to visit the city, it can be okay if you adapt. I noticed that you need to ask for the receipt from the shopkeepers in Venice. In this case, I paid with a card but didn't receive the invoice which, in my opinion, should be issued before taking the payment.

The shared bathroom shower is too small and cannot ensure cleanliness. The blanket in the closet looks dirty so I dare not use it.

Had as usual a very pleasant stay at Casa Mimma. The host was very helpful and polite. The B&B is placed in a very quiet and charming pocket close to local life in Venice. Breakfast is served with a smile and is sufficient.

We wanted to visit Venice for New Year's Eve, despite knowing about the exorbitant prices I decided to do some research, I found Casa Mimma. Located in Venice, close to the vaporetto and the train station, inside the Santa Croce district. A simple B&B, structure, room, and minimalist breakfast, clean. If the traveler wants to visit the city, have a strategically located room to sleep, spend the right amount to stay, Casa Mimma is ideal.

Excellent structure, 10 minutes from the station but in a quiet and very pleasant sector of the center, two blocks from a delightful 'bàcaro'. The room and the bathroom were of uncommon cleanliness; the finishes (double wooden windows, recent) also remarkable. The owner, given the exceptional high water, came to pick me up at the station bridge with a pair of additional boots, so that I could reach the B&B safely with him. I definitely feel like recommending it. NB: since I had a very early train the next morning, I didn't have time to experience the breakfast, which was of course planned: the system does not allow me to indicate 'I couldn't experience it', not wanting to give false information, I preferred to indicate 'Not planned' but it is planned, indeed.

The location of the property is excellent, right in the heart of the city. Unfortunately, we did not know that the rooms were so small for a family. No one told us that one of the rooms did not have a bathroom and that we had to share it with other guests. It was not pleasant and comfortable for us who had booked for our friends (family with 2 boys). The breakfast is not representative of the Italian breakfast (cappuccino...). It's not worth 8.5/10 and the price is expensive for the service. The photos are nicer on the website, a bit different from reality.
