"Casa della Nonna" (Grandma’s home) Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Valpolicella, in North-West of Verona, and it's only 15 km from the city and 15 km from Garda Lake, in a hilly area rich of culture, natural sceneries, good food and wine.
In "Casa della Nonna" Bed and Breakfast you will be accomodated in an indipendent two rooms apartment, exclusively for you, consisting of a master bedroom, a living room with a master sofabed (for two people) and with a kitchen, a private bathroom and an owned garden. Free parking is available next to the apartment. Wi-fi connection is available.
If you want to be welcomed in a simple and lovely place, and to feel free like at your own home, then "Casa della Nonna" is the right place for you.

HOW TO REACH US
"Casa della Nonna" Bed and Breakfast is located in San Pietro in Cariano (Verona), in Barbassa street, 15.
BY CAR: the town is reachable from the A22 Highway, exit Verona Nord. Take direction Valpolicella, and proceed for 12 km. At the roundabout take right to San Pietro in Cariano; proceed for 1 km and then turn first right after the Tamoil gasoline station, and then take first left in via Barbassa.
BY TRAIN: from Verona Porta Nuova railway station, using ATV public transport service bus, there are two lines:
- line 21 to San Pietro in Cariano, getting off at the stop in Via Barbassa
- line 103 to Domegliara-Volargne, getting off at the first San Pietro in Cariano stop.
BY PLANE: "Casa della Nonna" is 20 km from the "Valerio Catullo" Airport, where, in addition to shuttle service to the railway station of Verona Porta Nuova, you can find car rentals. From the airport take the SR62, then take the SS12 and proceed towards Valpolicella direction. At the roundabout take right to San Pietro in Cariano; proceed for 1 km and then turn first right after the Tamoil gasoline station, and then take first left in via Barbassa.

Our breakfast is rich and abundant: we like it so..
Coffee, milk, tea, barley, fruit juice, biscuits, white bread for toasting, loaves, biscuits, butter, jam, nutella, honey, seasonal fruit and dried fruit, as well as eggs, meats and sometimes (!) also house cake are our ingredients.
You will find all this available in your exclusive kitchen of B&B "Casa della Nonna", where you can manage and enjoy breakfast in total autonomy, or you can request to be served, the time agreed, by the hostess.

My name is Mariagrazia,
I was born in Bolzano and I lived in Verona for many years.
A few years ago, with my family, I moved here in Valpolicella and I fell in love at first sight with this marvelous land.
After raising four children, now adults, I decided to open the B&B Casa della Nonna to handle it with care and passion and make the guests feeling truly like at home.

Amazing; hospitality at its best. Lovely greeting, a lovely spacious apartment and excellent caring hosts. After Venice it proved to be a restful recluse.
Some interesting local historical buildings and vineyards which our host showed us around.
The flat was immaculate; everything had been thought of with love and care.
Verona and Lake Garda were close by. Casa della Nonna is one of the best places I have ever stayed.
We were sad to leave after our 6 nights there. Magnifico!

Un appartamento bello e confortevole, buona la posizione, a pochi km si trovano diverse attrattive. La colazione, compresa nel prezzo, semplice e buona. La wifi, assente nei primi giorni, ma facendolo notare il problema è stato risolto. La pulizia dell'appartamento, unica "pecca" è stata fatta una volta sola in 11 giorni, un po poco ma nel complesso tutto bene.

L'istinto mi ha portato a soggiornare con mia moglie e mia figlia in questo B&B e non posso far altro che accodarmi alle ottime recensioni fino ad oggi espresse da altri utenti. Per motivi personali sono abituato a viaggiare parecchio in lungo e in largo per l'Italia e vi assicuro che non esagero nell'affermare energicamente che Casa della Nonna trattasi di uno dei B&B fra i migliori in assoluto nel nostro Paese. La struttura è comodissima e completa d'ogni attrezzatura, inserita tra l'altro in un contesto residenziale tranquillo e strategico per il raggiungimento di mete rinomate quali Verona, Gardaland, Zoo Safari, Lago di Garda, Cascate di Molina, Terme Acquardens e chissà cos'altro ancora. MariaGrazia e suo marito sono persone assolutamente splendide, capaci di trattare gli ospiti con elevata professionalità e un tanticchio di severa formalità. Difficile trovare dei parimenti. Non vi ho convinto? Peggio per voi non sapete quello che vi perdete!

Ho alloggiato con mio marito per quattro notte presso questo B&B e non possiamo che essere assolutamente soddisfatti. Innanzitutto MariaGrazia (gestore) ci ha colpiti per la cordialità, disponibilità e gentilezza assoluta. L’appartamento è dotato di ogni necessità, pulizia Impeccabile colazione fornita di ogni prelibatezza ci siamo sentiti come stare a casa propria. (grazie) Anna e Domenico.

La signora MariaGrazia è stata davvero squisita! Ci ha coccolati dal primo momento in cui siamo arrivati. La sua casa è in una posizione davvero "strategica" per poter visitare la zona della Valpolicella. Tutto era molto ordinato ed estremamente pulito. La colazione era ricchissima e molto varia. Siamo stati davvero molto bene, allietati anche dal suono di un pianoforte che veniva suonato magicamente dal figlio di MariaGrazia. Torneremo sicuramente a soggiornare in questo B&B!

An amazing experience, fabulous hosts and a beautiful setting. We had a wonderful time and Mariagrazia and her family were perfect hosts. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone - we will certainly get back again.
