Giulia is very kind, accommodating and attentive to satisfying guests. Excellent breakfast with organic or homemade products. Welcoming location, in the silence of the hills, yet just a short distance from the city.

Enchanting location, adjacent to the Parco dei Colli Euganei, on the edge of the woods. Ideal for those who want to go hiking on the trails that start all around.

The property is an excellent base for excursions to Villa dei Vescovi and for visiting the Luxardo Museum. It is located in a peaceful setting surrounded by greenery, with a spectacular view of the Euganean Hills. Giulia is an excellent hostess, kind and helpful. The breakfast is also good.

Giulia was very courteous and made us feel at home. The room is welcoming and comfortable. The garden and the location of the B&B are really very nice. The breakfast is excellent, homemade and abundant. A real discovery!

Those looking for a quiet accommodation in the midst of nature and far from the hustle and bustle are in the right place. Friendly and helpful hostess, abundant breakfast right in front of the room in the beautiful garden, good bed, refrigerator and kettle, large bathroom - everything is perfect. I was allowed to bring my dog and could set off from the house for walks in the fields while enjoying the beautiful view. When visiting the numerous tourist attractions in the area, one can eat along the way, as cooking - even just with a microwave, unfortunately is not possible. Once back, one can enjoy nature and peace again. For me, the structure and location were excellent, but those who like to have urban life around them will judge it differently.

The structure is in the middle of the greenery. Fantastic garden. Having breakfast and an evening snack in that corner of paradise is priceless.

A beautiful place, a place to relax and take wonderful walks, the room has everything you need, around there is a peace that really relaxes and makes you feel good. Excellent location to reach supermarket, bakery, pizzeria, and restaurant. In the morning, about 50 meters away, you can admire the sunrise and in front of the room, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, served in the garden. Giulia was really kind and welcoming and advised us on what to visit around. Definitely a place to recommend and return to.

If you want peace, nature, and silence, with animals roaming the garden and shy, very independent cats, come here. This place offers everything you're looking for: peace, a spot to meditate and find yourself. Giulia is delightful, unobtrusive, and gives recipes and advice on what to visit. She is an extraordinary person. Come and enjoy all of this.

Beautiful place in the middle of the greenery with no noise, instead the singing of the birds and the cuckoo fantastic. Only one room with a bed where we slept very well. Mrs. Giulia very kind and super helpful.

Stunning place: in the middle of nature, with a view of the hills, very close to remarkable cultural excursions. Villa dei Vescovi, Abbey of Praglia, seventeenth-century gardens of Villa Barbarigo, Villa Selvatico, Catajo Castle the most relevant sites. But also Arqua Petrarca and the numerous walks on foot or by bike that can be done. Giulia is very kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Recommended!

Excellent structure and splendid place in the Euganean Hills.

It is a beautiful house on a hill with a nice garden and a small wood at the back, made, furnished, and cared for with love, where in addition to the good air, you can breathe serenity. Ideal for those who want to relax and unwind.

The owner was excellent. Abundant breakfast with organic products. Everything was fantastic. I definitely recommend it. Thank you for everything.

Congratulations to the host for the welcome and proactive suggestions to fully enjoy the cultural and gastronomic beauties of the area.

We had a great time and will be back next year.

The structure is immersed in the greenery and very quiet, ideal if you are looking for tranquility in contact with nature. The accommodation is comfortable and very clean, and the breakfast prepared by Giulia is truly delicious. She and Enrico are extremely friendly and helpful. It was a short but extremely pleasant stay.

A wonderful stay: located in a hilly area, just a few minutes from many cultural and food and wine interest places, this bed and breakfast is strategic for a relaxing and invigorating break. Giulia, exceptional host, prepares a truly excellent breakfast, even with homemade foods made by her, of a unique goodness! I suggest it to those who love contact with nature and animals. I can't wait to go back.

This is a wonderful place to spend a few peaceful days in a beautiful surrounding. The property offers the comfort of a spacious, sun-bathed garden with more than enough loungers. The room is perfect, with a beautiful view of the garden, a comfortable and spacious bed, and a TV; the connected bathroom offers all facilities. The host is very kind and thoughtful, offering plenty of information about places to visit, shops to go to, excursions, etc. The breakfast is wonderful, including home-made jam, delicious coffee, pancakes, bio yogurt, juice, brioche, home-made bread... A perfect stay!

I stayed three weeks at Calto della Scala, a modern and above all charming B&B. What I am most grateful for is that the hosts made me feel like I was a very welcome friend they took pleasure in having. They offered useful ideas, considering well my preferences for activities and places to go; they willingly provided anything I asked for to make me feel even more comfortable, and they simply invited me into their circle of trust. I just loved our talks over breakfast (and I am sure that, had I preferred to be on my own, they would have let me discreetly)! The house - a former farmhouse, beautifully, tastefully, and lovingly changed into a home - is situated wonderfully in the hills near the forest above Torreglia and hence - even in the hottest time of the year - the room's temperature was very agreeable (with a little help of a ventilator, an air dryer provided, and of course shutters). The room is small but very clean, homey, and offers all you need, including a roomy bathroom. I was able to move freely on the premises, loved to sit in the deckchair on the lawn to read and enjoy the view, absolute stillness, and nature - so lovely! The dog and many cute cats kept at a discrete distance and only came near when they sensed that I was willing to. The surrounding offers all you can think of: The Eugenian hills are great for leisurely strolls, hikes, drives - and for ambitious people: (mountain) biking; be careful it's really steep and challenging, I find! -, there are plenty of wonderful restaurants, osterias, agriturismos, etc., there are museums and lots of interesting architecture around, and of course, it's a few € to take a 10-minute train ride from the near train station in Montegrotto to Padua and a little more to Venice - both thus reachable for a day-tour without any strain. I also did day-trips (by car) to Vicenza and to Verona to attend the opera in the Arena - very recommendable. And there is lots more - more than you can see or do with several weeks. And to come back to the relaxing, welcoming B&B Calto della Scala in the evening after a busy day to "digest" the many lovely impressions is the best! Thanks, Guilia and Enrico, for having me! We spent two nights in this Bed and Breakfast surrounded by greenery, with the woods behind us. We appreciated the silence of this beautiful place and Giulia, the owner, who prepared a delicious breakfast for us. A Bed and Breakfast for those looking for a relaxing stay.

Great location, absolute tranquility, ideal for relaxing and hiking. There is only this one room for 2, so you are completely undisturbed. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast comes with delicious homemade products. A Spaniel, many cats, and 2 goats complement the idyllic setting. The only downside is the access road (gravel) which is a bit "criminal" due to the potholes, meaning less suitable for Ferraris & Co., but no problem for normal cars.

We immediately appreciated the kindness and availability of the owner Giulia, who welcomed us in a typical and very familiar environment, surrounded by greenery, and with the complicity of her lovely pets. We highly recommend it because it is a simple and welcoming structure, a stone's throw from local attractions, ideal for a holiday dedicated to tranquility and rediscovering the flavors and sensations of times past. The accommodation, equipped with a bedroom and bathroom with independent entrance, is an excellent base for visiting the Euganean Hills and surrounding areas.
