At breakfast, you will find a buffet prepared with our homemade pastries, biscuits, fresh bread, rusks, honey, jam (also made by us), butter, muesli, yogurt, fruit juice, milk, and fresh fruit. Our specialty is cappuccino, but we also prepare coffee, tea, and herbal teas.
Upon request, we can arrange breakfast with products for those with food intolerances or celiac disease, or for those on special diets (vegan, vegetarian, etc.).

The love of this place but also to share the most beautifull things we have and the passion for travels gave us the boost to start the adventure of the B&B. When we travel we are used to stay in similar small structures. The warm welcome of the owners, the connection with the place that suddenly born thanks to the direct contact with who live in and the advantage to "fill at home" (with the most precious and intimate meaning of this sentence) also when we are far, are characteristics that we cannot miss anymore. We love to meet people in the World, people like us or people different from us, to talk, to discuss. Travel can tear down the limits of the mind and when we cannot do it, whe thought that it should be nice to stay on the other side: to guest the World at our home, a kind of "opposite travel".
This is the story of this B&B. All our passions have been joined here, in the house that nonna Amelia, uncle Margherita and uncle Luigino left us.

Elisabetta and Andrea take pride in hosting well, excellently, to be more precise. The Bed and Breakfast Nonna Amelia is a short distance from downtown Vicenza, yet we are in the countryside, where we can relax and simply breathe fresh air, be in touch with nature. Everything we need is well taken care of – the rooms are large, the kitchen is well equipped, with all the necessary appliances and breakfast that can be personalized to our liking, plus a large terrace adjoining the kitchen. Access to the rooms is independent, so we don’t feel we are intruding. Should something unexpected happen, both Elisabetta and Andrea are available to help. Absolutely recommended.

I stayed with my husband at this accommodation during the van Gogh exhibition. The location is in the open countryside, yet only 5 km from Vicenza. The rooms, quiet and peaceful, are tastefully furnished with antique furniture. They are complete with all the necessary amenities including extra pillows and blankets. The renovated bathroom also has a spacious and functional shower box. I have nothing to say about the cleanliness, which I found to be excellent. It's a shame that due to organizational reasons during those days we couldn't enjoy breakfast, however, the kitchen area was stocked with everything we needed. The only thing missing was an oven, but we were told that an electric oven will be installed soon. Special mention to the host, Mrs. Elisabetta, who is very kind and available for all our needs. She is also very generous with tourist and gastronomic tips. A truly pleasant stay!

Le attenzioni necessarie ai nostri bimbi a volte ci portano a limitare il tempo a disposizione per la preparazione della colazione che, essendo prevalentemente costituita da prodotti fatti a mano, richiede parecchio impegno. Del resto l'alternativa di offrire prodotti preconfezionati non ci piace, pertanto (in attesa che i bimbi crescano!) preferiamo in questi frangenti proporre il soggiorno senza colazione. Speriamo in futuro di farvi provare anche questo aspetto del soggiorno presso la nostra struttura. Vi ringraziamo anche per gli utili e preziosi consigli che arricchiscono la nostra esperienza.
