The Alle Calcarole is a charming tourist location situated in the heart of the classic wine production area of "Recioto Amarone" in Valpolicella, on the edge of the Regional Park of Lessinia.

Located only 900 meters from Negrar Hospital, 12 km from the center of Verona, 12 km from the Acquardens thermal baths, and 18 km from the best attractions of Lake Garda such as Gardaland, Zoo Safari di Pastrengo, Caneva, Riovalli, and the thermal spa of Garda (Villa Cedri), this B&B is the perfect starting point for exploring the area.

Mariolina loves drawing, walking, gardening and caring for the family, painting pottery which she produces for pleasure with Francesco.

Francesco is a 64-year-old former middle school teacher who currently deals with adult training on behalf of the University of Verona, selects and studies Open SOurce resources for school teaching.

His interests are free computer science, wooden creations, pottery work on the lathe, but, in particular, walks along the Valpolicella paths and the Lessinia regional park.

Our accommodation is perfect for tourism due to its location in the heart of Valpolicella with its wine and food routes, and just a few minutes' drive from Verona (12 km), Acquardens thermal baths (13 km), Lake Garda (25 km) with its amusement parks Gardaland, Movieland, Parco Safari Natura Viva, Parco Sicurtà, and the Verona mountains with the Cascate di Molina park and the Lessina Natural Park (20 km).
We are also 39 km away from Mantua and 120 km away from Venice. Come and explore everything our location has to offer!

Truly positive experience from the welcome to the property that truly deserves a lot! In a location close to the center without the chaos of passing roads. Well connected to the main attractions of Lake Garda. Absolutely recommended! N.b. The room had a comfortable hidden kitchen corner equipped with everything necessary!!

The structure is located in a beautiful position surrounded by vineyards, yet just a few steps from Negrar. You can walk to the center and the hospital in a few minutes. It is a renovated farmhouse with the possibility to enjoy an equipped inner lawn. It is managed by a welcoming and helpful couple. We felt comfortable and surely, if we have to come back to that area, we will not change our choice. Excellent value for money.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, clean place, 20 minutes drive from the chaos of Verona. The owners are very friendly, attentive, welcoming, and helpful. Francesco traced out a nice route for me to explore the mountains, together with his wife who are in love with this beautiful land, they describe it very well and make you feel immersed in the territory. I highly recommend their 'B&B Alle Calcarole', you will feel at home. The chicory coffee is good :).

B&B Alle Calcarole is a wonderful place. Francesco and Mariolina have infused this magical estate with their love, hard work, and respectful taste in furnishing. Staying at the B&B was a real pleasure: the spacious room, the comfortable bed, the magical view of the vineyard from the window, and a large bathroom. The kitchenette is a bonus, really useful and functional. Mariolina's smile and Francesco's friendliness brightened our stay. I couldn't recommend this place enough, both for those going to the hospital (very easy to reach on foot in a few minutes) and for spending a few days on vacation. We will come back to visit you!

The structure was chosen for its proximity to the hospital, reachable on foot in a few minutes. Unfortunately, the hospital stay did not allow us to fully appreciate the environment, but the house has been tastefully renovated (the large fireplace in the living room is magnificent) and the managers are very kind and helpful.

Excellent for quality/price, cleanliness, and location. Suitable for those, like me, who are engaged at the Negrar hospital. By car or on foot, everything is just 5 minutes away. The owners and their garden are splendid. I will return, thank you.

I really needed a quiet place to spend the night before the operation at the Negrar hospital and it was wonderful. Special mention to the room temperature at night and the very comfortable shower with which I managed to wake up in a good mood! Excellent location because it is close to the hospital and also to a fantastic pizzeria where mom and dad enjoyed the pizza and I a delicious salad. I would come back even on vacation.
