Hey from Valentina
"I decided to live in this wonderful place, I live and walk through the mountains for passion, looking for places and emotions to transform into drawings, stories, poetry and hospitality. "
"This is a somewhat magical house. A house full of history and stories that, until a few years ago, remained closed and cold for most of the year. The windows were opened overlooking the garden and the mountains only in the summer months, the months of the "holiday", so they were called the holidays once. Mia Nonna Nina, together with her brothers, has spent here every summer of her life, from the beginning of the last century until today. In those months the house was filled with voices, color and people, all of us grandchildren spent vacation time here.
The villa opened to the July sun and breathed the summer heat, the thunderstorms of September, the lights of autumn and closed with the scents of the stoves lit at the first chill of October. Then it remained alone all the cold winter, it waited motionless..the awakening, to the noise of the cars on the gravel of the square and the arrival of a new season.
Here was born Dino Buzzati, brother of my grandmother, writer, journalist and painter, who lived in Milan, like all of us, but who usually spent the month of September in this house, writing, walking and climbing the nearby mountains, along with my mom and her friends.
Perhaps just to not leave this large house alone, I decided to come and live and open its windows on the garden and the mountains, in all seasons of the year. In addition, I thought I could offer hospitality, opening a small Bed and Breakfast, to all those who will grasp the magic and history of this place, savoring the atmosphere that, since childhood, has always fascinated me, between passion, respect and fear for something that is between heart and soul, for something that even now, I struggle to understand and this captures me. "
