Description

The Bed & Breakfast Vicenza San Rocco is located in Vicenza’s historic center, in a porticoed area dating to the 1400’s, near the ancient city walls. Its central location is perfect for visiting and living Vicenza’s city life, immersing yourself in the architectural masterpieces of “The city of Palladio”, and attending cultural and artistic events; it is also convenient for reaching the Vicenza Fairgrounds and its industrial area.

Our home reflects the typical architectural style of the Veneto Region: a terraced house with a lovely garden that offers accommodation in three en suite rooms (two has a private terrace); all rooms have wooden-beam ceilings. Breakfast is served in the dining room or in the common outdoor terrace that has views of the private gardens in the San Rocco area, during the Spring and Summer months.

Family-run establishment, here's the positive thing: you feel like you are with family. Carlo is a manager attentive to people. The breakfast is abundant and well served on a terrace that puts you at peace with the world. Really convenient location for the station and the center (15 minutes on foot), managed with great kindness and passion by the owner Mr. Carlo. Spacious room, very welcoming and tastefully furnished, equipped with a balcony with a table, large and clean bathroom. Sweet breakfast with seasonal fruit. Price appropriate for the quality of the structure and absolutely convenient (however, I stayed during the low season).

The B&B is located near the historic center of the city, close to the Walls. The accommodation is a typical Venetian house in a very quiet location. In the morning you wake up to the sound of birds singing. The structure is tastefully furnished. We find antique furniture that is paired with contemporary design objects. The impeccably clean room is in the attic with a small terrace on the roof. The bathroom is very spacious, equipped with a walk-in shower. The owner Carlo is an exquisite, kind, and very friendly person, ready to give you useful advice about places to visit and point out the trattorias with typical cuisine to try. For us, it was a wonderful weekend in every sense, and in this B&B, you feel at home as if you were with family.

The room was delightful, with a small balcony overlooking the garden and despite it being Saturday night, it was very quiet. The property is very close to the historic center and there was parking available; moreover, the owner gave us the opportunity to stay for free and was very kind in providing us with information on the main attractions of the city (beautiful) and the best restaurants. Excellent welcome from the family of musicians. I was able to listen to a nice concert directed by Mrs. Margarita. Excellent compliance and availability from Mr. Carlo and his son. Very nice atmosphere.
