Description

The structure is a typical mountain home on three floors.

The breakfast room, spacious and comfortable, is situated on the ground floor and it's furnished with period furniture and a large tiled stove that heats the entire room in winter.

The rooms, like bathrooms, have all been recently renovated.

Public areas have been subject to interventions that have made them more functional and attractive.

For cycling enthusiasts who come to the area with the aim of the advantages of the bike path, there is a room for bicycles.

The building is located along the highway Alemagna from Pieve di Cadore to Cortina d'Ampezzo situated about 15 km walked in 20 minutes by car.
The railway station Calalzo di Cadore is situated about 18 km and links from this structure are provided by a bus service.
On the back, the house overlooks the "long road of the Dolomites" the path that goes from Calalzo to Cortina d'Ampezzo to reach up to Dobbiaco.
The country of Vodo di Cadore is surrounded by a ring of mountains which Antelao, The Pelmo, Rite and Rocchette.
Other countries of tourist interest in the immediate vicinity are the small town of Vinigo and Cibiana famous for its murals.
To these we must add San Vito di Cadore, just 7 km (with slopes) and the aforementioned Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The B&B Monte Rite run by Angelina is managed with love. The cleanliness, courtesy, and hospitality of the owners are impeccable. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and from the balcony, there is a breathtaking view of the mountains. Angelina gave us indispensable advice and delighted us with her delicious cakes and rich breakfast. The B&B is located in Vodo di Cadore, a delightful little village. The location is perfect for visiting all of Cadore, the nearby San Vito di Cadore, and Cortina. From the B&B, you can easily reach the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Misurina, and Auronzo di Cadore, all surrounded by wonderful little villages. Braies is also easily reachable. What can I say? Everything is perfect. We will definitely come back, we felt at home. We were welcomed and pampered.

The excellent communication before the stay with Mrs. Angelina continued during my stay at B&B Monte Rite, with suggestions on places to visit and insights into the history of Cadore. Vodo is well served by buses, the property is close to the stops, and the proximity to the cycle path is very convenient. My room, with a balcony, allowed me to enjoy a remarkable view, overlooking the main road, was very bright and the double glazing muffled the traffic noise. The breakfast was very abundant, quite varied, enriched with homemade pastries. During my 5-day stay, I had the opportunity to meet the whole family of Angelina and this also contributed to making my experience excellent.

What can I say, the excellent Bed and Breakfast managed by Angelina and her husband truly deserves a special mention. These lovely people are welcoming and very helpful. Even though we only stayed one night at their establishment, as our children had gifted us a weekend at another hotel, we stopped by every evening during our stay in Cadore to say hello and have a chat.\n\nAngelina is a person who exudes positivity and energy. She is always ready to greet you with a smile every time you meet her. Furthermore, they were fantastic in giving us advice on what to visit and where to enjoy a great dinner.\n\nThe breakfast offered is excellent, well stocked with typical and very tasty products. My husband was particularly impressed by the speck. I highly recommend this establishment and it will definitely be a stop we will make again in the future.

It is difficult to put into words the combination of atmospheres, moments, images, scents, colors, smiles, and emotions that my beloved partner and I experienced in these days, staying at the B&B Monte Rite. It would be quite banal and predictable if I only talked to you about the excellent cleanliness, which I found every evening returning from the tiring, yet rewarding, mountain excursions; I could also talk about the fragrant and abundant breakfasts, which we had the pleasure of enjoying every morning in one of the most welcoming and magical rooms I have ever sipped a cappuccino in: from the delicious homemade cakes to the plates of speck and cheese, through eggs, yogurt, cornflakes, in short, there was something for every taste. I could also mention the strategic position of the structure, just a few steps from Cortina d'Ampezzo, a center from which you can easily reach the most iconic destinations of the magnificent Dolomites. But what I really want to let anyone looking for accommodation to visit these enchanted places know is that here they will find a unique kind of welcome, they will find the passion for their work translated into the constant kindness, courtesy, and availability that the owners of the place do not hesitate to offer to their customers. There was no request on our part that did not find an audience from the staff, in every difficulty we always found a valid support and a safe refuge at the structure, experiencing the sweet sensation of knowing with certainty that your well-being is dear to those who are hosting you. Ideal B&B for those looking for a 'Dolomite' stay in Vodo di Cadore, about twenty minutes from the most famous and chaotic Cortina d'Ampezzo. It is located right in the center, on the Alemagna state road (unfortunately quite busy in August). A strategic point for excursions both in the Cadore and Ampezzo areas. Clean and spacious room, perfect bathroom, frequently changed linens. Our room did not have a balcony but two large windows (three if we consider the bathroom), and it was very quiet. Breakfast ranged from sweet to savory. Cheeses, speck, bread-butter-jam, yogurt, juices, homemade cake (a different one every day! all delicious!), and if we wanted something different, not available at the moment, Mrs. Angelina would have provided it for us the next day. A very pleasant stay spent with my family. Highly recommended.

We returned this year to B&B Monte Rite which pampers us with its breakfasts based on cakes that it prepares every day (we returned after dinner to the B&B and we could smell what would await us the next morning). The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable. Even though our room overlooked the street, we never had trouble sleeping. The B&B is in a great location for excursions throughout the Cortina area. We can only add that we hope to return to the very courteous Angelina next year.

Ringrazio per quanto scritto però vorrei sapere il perché di tanta discordanza con i punteggi da Lei assegnati portando ad un giudizio complessivamente alquanto negativo. Rimango sorpresa nel vedere che da una parte elogia i gestori ed il clima familiare creatosi ma dall’altra esprime giudizi fortemente negativi sulla struttura, la colazione, gli stessi gestori e quant’altro. Inoltre durante il soggiorno mi aveva chiesto disponibilità anche per Suo figlio e al momento della partenza (anticipata rispetto alla prenotazione) aveva espresso la volontà di tornare volentieri in futuro. Torno quindi a sottolineare il fatto di essere rimasta molto meravigliata di un punteggio tanto basso quanto immeritato perché oggettivamente non corrispondente alla realtà delle cose (come lo dimostrano palesemente tutte le altre recensioni ricevute). We stayed for 8 nights at this B&B Monte Rite in Cadore, about twenty minutes from the "famous" Cortina. What can I say? Top reception, spacious room, clean, as well as the bathroom and the breakfast room. The latter is always excellent (every day, in addition to the rest, we found a different cake on the table prepared the night before by the very kind Mrs. Angelina who made us feel at home). Availability, kindness, and courtesy. It was a truly fantastic stay. Absolutely to recommend.

We are a young couple who love tranquility, good food, nature, but also the social life: we couldn't ask for more. The B&B Monte Rite, indeed, manages to synthesize all this in a single structure. Its strategic position allows reaching the main tourist attractions (such as Cortina, San Vito, Misurina, etc.) in a short time; being located in Vodo di Cadore, slightly away from the tourist boom, silence and peace dominate the structure, pleasantly managed by Mrs. Angelina and her husband Gianluca, who gave us highly appreciated and useful culinary and practical advice to fully enjoy our mountain vacation. A pleasant discovery. We really miss the breakfasts by Mrs. Angelina, with different cakes every morning. A real pity to have to go back home!

We stayed two nights in a quiet and family-friendly environment, a sufficiently spacious room with a beautiful panoramic balcony overlooking Monte Rite and the cycling path behind. Optimal location of the structure to reach within a 20 km radius the most beautiful locations of Cadore and the Dolomites, a strategic point to branch out for any excursion (behind the building there is the Dobbiaco/Cortina/Borca/Pieve/Calalzo cycle path). I have just returned from a beautiful weekend in the Dolomites with my family. We stayed at B&B Monte Rite where we felt like "at home" in the company of the very friendly Mrs. Angelina who welcomed us with her beautiful smile and made us comfortable in our warm, clean, and welcoming rooms. Not to mention the breakfast with a delicious chocolate cake and many other delicacies for those who love, like me, a sweet breakfast and excellent eggs and speck for those who prefer a savory breakfast. If you have any requests, Mrs. Angelina will surely try to accommodate you. The bed and breakfast is located in a strategic place: it is about 20 km from Cortina and from other locations such as Lake Misurina, the beautiful city of Auronzo, and its splendid lake. We will definitely return to visit Mrs. Angelina and her wonderful family.

Easily reachable from Venice by the "Cortina express" bus, the stop is very close. The structure is located in a small and welcoming village situated a stone's throw from Cortina. It is possible to undertake a variety of excursions in the splendid surrounding places thanks also to the availability, patience, and courtesy of the managers who provide all the information needed. The stay was pleasant, especially for the tranquility, peace, and breathtaking scenery that loom from every direction and contribute to enhance the magical atmosphere that lingers in the surroundings. Finally, the friendliness and warmth of the managers greatly reinforce the conviction of returning as soon as possible.

The structure is small but the room is comfortable and very clean. We stayed in the triple room and it was very large. The breakfast is good and plentiful, and the managers are always available for any request. In conclusion, the quality-price ratio is excellent.
