Description

The B&B La Pescadora was established in the early months of 2016 by Sergio and Mariella. After years working in the local tourism industry, we decided to open the Bed & Breakfast to meet new people and share the unique location of our home with others.

As natives and lovers of the surrounding area, we can fully assist our guests by offering different daily itineraries and historical, cultural, natural, and gastronomic routes.

Surrounded by greenery, just a few steps away from the left bank of the Mincio River and a 5-minute walk from the center of Borghetto, the recently renovated property offers three spacious rooms with ensuite facilities, elegantly furnished, and a plentiful international buffet breakfast.

Guests also have access to a large living room with a fireplace.

I stayed for only one night, as a couple, we had a great time both for the hospitality and the location. A charming little place just a stone's throw from the center, clean and welcoming, our room a little gem, breakfast very varied with homemade products and served with care by Mrs. Mirella. We really enjoyed our stay and will return. I almost forgot to praise Mr. Sergio with whom I had a chat and got along wonderfully.

My friend and I spent a relaxing weekend in Borghetto, we had a great time, the welcome and hospitality from the managers was truly exceptional. It was a pleasure to meet them and chat with them. The breakfast is abundant, with delicious homemade products and excellent quality such as peach jam and fruit salad.

Great B&B! Breathtaking panorama, it feels like being inside a painting 300 meters from the Village, 5 minutes from Parco Sigurtà. Wonderful, excellent breakfast and cleanliness. Borghetto sul Mincio, although small, is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen!

Everything was perfect, we only stayed one night but we felt at home, the property is well-kept and clean, in a lovely location, the hosts welcomed us like family and we had pleasant conversations. The breakfast was the icing on the cake. Mariella prepared a feast for us and we left for Gardaland all charged up.

We stayed here for two nights and it was all very pleasant, starting from the very kind welcome, the pleasant chats with Sergio and Mariella (delightful people), to whom we are grateful for the various suggestions of places to visit. The rooms are furnished with particular taste, very romantic and refined, and the view is a pleasure for the eyes, with the sound of the bell tower clock marking the hours with a unique music. The swans along the river are worth seeing. And we will be back soon. Thank you very much and I forgot the well-prepared and abundant breakfast with eggs and crispy bacon.

Manager and lady of a unique courtesy and availability, colloquial and available for tourist and gastronomic suggestions proved perfect. Absolutely continental breakfast up to the mark complete with savory, sweet (with excellent cakes made by the owner's wife) and fruit. Rare to find something similar in starred hotels. Congratulations! The cappuccino has nothing to do with the one from the bar: it is much superior, an indicator of the use of quality ingredients. Room and bathroom extremely clean, a feature I consider essential. Total silence interrupted in the morning by the flapping of the wings of the swans, herons, and ducks living along the Mincio. Overall location to be considered perfect also thanks to the solution of the lawn (very well mowed) on which modern statues of very pleasant appearance are found. By far among the best three B&Bs I have visited in Italy. The only suggestion (not a criticism): the placement of an address plaque at the entrance of the driveway leading to the structure because this is behind a cabin. Absolutely recommended.

Mirella and Sergio are very hospitable and pleasant people. The service is excellent as well as the cleanliness. I'm sorry that the stay was too short, but we will be back. La Pescadora is located simultaneously outside the center of Borghetto, but inside the center of Borghetto a few meters on foot from the small center. We went to Borghetto to cycle along the cycle path to Mantova and Sergio very kindly allowed us to park our car in the courtyard of their home for free (not common!). We recommend "Passadora" to everyone for longer or shorter stays. Excellent service and quality. Thanks to Mirella and Sergio. Alessandro and Caterina Vianello.

This is not just a 'Bed and Breakfast', it is the top of the category! Immersed in the greenery, on the banks of the Mincio River, where you can breathe peace and relaxation, while being a stone's throw from the lively and charming village, wonderful! Managed with care and dedication by the couple Sergio and Mariella, who have managed to create an environment where they can 'pamper' the guest and make them feel immediately at home, with immense availability, cordiality, and friendliness! The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and so is the bathroom! The buffet breakfast is excellent, with great products, abundant and very varied, for every taste and palate! I tried it and I was fully satisfied! I recommend it to everyone and will definitely return!

Just go and feel comfortable. An old beautiful house in a wonderful park-like environment right on the Mincio. Lovingly furnished rooms with plenty of space and air conditioning. Mariella and Sergio are attentive, kind hosts with a natural warmth. Rudy, the friendly house dog, likes to be petted. The breakfast prepared by Mariella is great, especially the scrambled eggs, the homemade cake, and apple strudel. Sergio also provides a glass of wine or fruit in grappa in the evenings.

We stayed at B&B La Pescadora last week. The place is absolutely fantastic for those seeking tranquility, especially after spending the whole day exploring new places. Coming back to sleep in a place of absolute peace is priceless. The rooms are cozy and meticulously cared for. In the morning at breakfast, there is everything and more, from sweet to savory. Mariella and Sergio at B&B La Pescadora welcome guests as if they were in their own home. What can I say, you have to experience it to believe it.

We have just returned from this short but intense trip to Borghetto. We stayed at the B&B La Pescadora, a magnificent place, just a stone's throw from the center. The owners, Sergio and Mariella, are two wonderful, friendly, precise, kind, and above all excellent hosts. They make you feel comfortable right away and try in every way to meet the needs of their guests. The rooms with a view of the river are beautiful, refined in detail and spotlessly clean. The breakfast worthy of a star hotel and the dinner sublime. And then there is the third member of the family: Rudy, a furry one who is a sweetheart! I went for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend, we found a wonderful and very tidy and clean room, the owners are very friendly and sociable with a very cute dog. We had a great time, we didn't have any problems and we had a great time, I recommend it for its proximity to the center as we always moved on foot. It is located in a quiet and romantic place near the water, I recommend it if you want to spend some relaxing and calm days away from the city and work.
