Description
The Bed and Breakfast Casa di Chiara is located in a charming historic park near Villa Ivancich, designed by Baldassare Longhena, MDC. This place is famous for hosting Ernest Hemingway, who found inspiration here for his novel "Across the river intorno the trees".
We have three bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom, and direct access to the garden, where free wifi and satellite TV are available. There is also an outdoor swimming pool.
The location is strategic to reach all the main cultural and tourist attractions, including the beaches of Bibione and Lignano Sabbiadoro, Caorle, the WWF Ecological Oasis Valle Vecchia, and the Tagliamento River. Venice is only 75 km away and can be reached by train in just 50 minutes. The famous Grotta del Gigante in Trieste is 90 km away.
This area is renowned for the production of fine wines, both white and red. The train station is easily accessible in less than five minutes by car.
There are cycling routes that pass through ancient farms and countryside, ideal for families and children. We offer free bicycles to our guests. The route is about thirty kilometers, which can be completed in one day. It is also possible to rent tandem bicycles or e-bikes.
Our guests will feel at home, thanks to the total independence in the spaces and our friendly and simple approach. We are here to welcome our guests as if they were our best friends. They will always be welcome and, especially during the summer, they can participate in wine and food tasting evenings and concerts organized by the Cultural Association "Mangia Come Parli".

Very beautiful structure, immersed in the greenery and tranquility, near the Tagliamento River. Breakfast ready on the tables of each room and the sweets prepared by the owners enhance the stay. The owners are fabulous.

Beautiful villa with pool (with set hours) and garden available in a quiet street away from the chaos. Owners are very nice and helpful, we stopped several times to chat with them. Breakfast needs to be prepared at home by them directly. In just 20 minutes you can reach a natural reserve beach, while in 15 minutes you can get to Bibione in the evening. Great choice to break a 800 km trip with a night in their house. We had a great time.

An applause to the owners of this beautiful and cozy B&B Casa di Chiara. Perfect location for true relaxation, kindness, cordiality, and availability can also be felt in the air. We were a couple with three children, and the hosts' welcome was exceptional. We stayed only one night, but if we were to come back in the area, I would definitely call B&B Casa di Chiara. Congratulations.

Pino and Betty are the most wonderful hosts. They smile from the moment you see them in the morning to the moment the sun goes down. Their charm, enthusiasm, local knowledge, dancing skills as they waltz around the kitchen make this B&B a truly brilliant experience. If you are lucky, Pino might treat you to his delicious cooking and his focaccia is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay. Venice is only an easy train ride or drive away so you enjoy the fantastic place but also retreat back to the peace of this more rural setting. Also within easy reach are amazing wine tasting tours which pino kindly arranged for us. As well as a lovely little town of Udine and surrounding areas which I really like. All in all I would highly recommend a stay here, for someone learning Italian Betty is a great companion to get your vocabulary increased with a lot of laughter along the way. Rooms are very tasteful, clean and tidy - with all that you need. I can't wait to go back xxx.

We had a wonderful stay at B&B Casa di Chiara and look forward to booking again for our next holiday. It is located in a quiet area with nice surroundings. The B&B is high quality throughout but two things stand out; firstly the quality of the food and cooking (Pino is an amazing chef and sommelier) and secondly the hosts. Pino and Betty are wonderful hosts and make the place come alive. I would highly recommend a visit.
