Only 7 minutes from St. Mark's, our B&B overlooks the canal facing the Scuola di San Giorgio degli Schiavoni with Carpaccio's paintings of Saint George and the Dragon.

The rooms, also overlooking the canal, are welcoming, bright and elegantly furnished. They have double queen beds.

Two bathrooms, one with a large private shower in bedroom B and one with a bathtub inside bedroom A.

A breakfast room make up the whole.

Prestigious restaurants, pizzerias are a short distance away.

Nearby, there are good restaurants and pizzerie.

It was difficult to pay with my credit card because the host preferred cash. When I had to leave early because my mother had an accident, they didn't allow me to shorten my stay and I had to pay for the last four days in full.

Although a reservation was made with a VISA card, I was asked to pay in cash or make a bank transfer. Afterwards, there was a double payment. Do not fall for this, demand to pay as agreed! The senior boss is very nice and we had a lively chat during breakfast (toast with butter, jam and honey as well as Italian mocha coffee).

Simple room (rather spartan) - good bedding. Bathroom outside the room which requires passing in front of the passage of the common room and the door of the other room. Broken shower screen. Very simple breakfast related to its price. Owner accommodating and giving good advice.

I thought this place was shabby. It was as though they had bought the furnishings - 1 towel, 1 bath mat, sheets, mismatched stuff in the common kitchenette (shared by 3 rooms) - at the cheapest thrift store. The lid of the kettle was broken. There were 3 keys - two small and one huge one - to get into the place all attached to a large, bulky wooden keychain. I was told I would be met by the host on arrival but his father was the only person I met. It should not be advertised as a B&B because they do not provide breakfast. Well overpriced for what you get.

The B&B Cà Isidoro is conveniently located, only about a 5-minute walk from San Zaccaria boat station. There is a supermarket and pharmacy nearby, and plenty of restaurants nearby, so you will not run out of food or drink during the stay. The owner, Fabio, is also quick in response when I asked for assistance in getting the air conditioning fixed (there was a little glitch one day). All in all, I had a pleasant stay.

Perfect structure. Central location, very clean room and bathroom, view from the room's window directly on the canal very suggestive. The managers of the structure are really kind and friendly and positively guided us during our trip. I would gladly return!

A trip to Venice is always an extraordinary opportunity. If you manage to experience the atmosphere of the canals, it turns out to be wonderful. The B&B Cà Isidoro is in an optimal position to walk through the wonderful Venetian alleys at any time of day and night to immediately reach Piazza San Marco and any other place you want to go. The "Architect" owner of the structure is friendly, makes guests comfortable, and offers advice on both places and typical Venetian trattorias. A place to return to. Thank you.

Comfortable heated room with a view of a canal in a quiet part of Castello, with a knowledgeable host providing local insights and restaurants. The breakfast was basic but with good coffee and our conversations with the host led us to visit places we might not have otherwise seen. The property is well designed with a nautical theme, modern bathroom, and comfortable bed. The property is a 12-15 minute walk to either Fondamente Nove or Piazza San Marco, so well positioned but away from the tourist crowds. Would highly recommend B&B Cà Isidoro as a welcoming and warm place to stay.

Friendly owner, provides tips for visits. Quite well located to visit Venice. Price/quality ratio lower than equivalent accommodation rented in Florence and Rome city center. To improve: Heating schedule inadequate for drying towels in a cool/humid climate period. Add a flat sheet on the bed as only a duvet is provided. For breakfast, prioritize artisanal products instead of industrial pastries/bread.

Wonderful stay, with our hosts. Pleasant, clean living space. The breakfast time was very nice, meeting Fabio's father was very enriching and interesting. Slight downside for the breakfast which lacks orange juice, yogurt. But it's a very small detail. I highly recommend staying in Venice and staying at B&B Cà Isidoro, it's the perfect place to truly experience Venice.

Very spacious double room, extremely clean, quiet and at the same time very well located to visit Venice, the vaporetto stops and Piazza San Marco are a few minutes walk away. An ideal location also to visit the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. We were very well welcomed by our host: he gave us great tips to discover Venice and the surroundings. It was very nice to be able to chat with him every morning and thus get to know Venetian life better. Thank you very much for this welcome and for making us love Venice despite the horde of tourists poured in by the cruise ships.

This was the perfect place to stay in Venice. Fabio and his father were charming and helpful; the flat was simple, spacious, and clean, conveniently situated ten minutes walk north or south of vaporetto stops and a minute's walk from a supermarket. There was a useful kitchenette and a comfortable bed. I could cook my own meals which was much appreciated. Should I be fortunate enough to return to Venice I would hope to stay again at B&B Cà Isidoro.

We slept very well in this B&B, every morning we had breakfast with the owner's dad, a retired architect, who explained all the cool spots in Venice to visit. Just a little bit of a shame that the bathroom was separate from the room. But other than that, it was really great.

Good place to stay. The owner, a Francophile, loves Paris. He knows how to make himself available if needed. The room is well located, pleasant and bright, overlooking a bridge and a watercourse. Although the second rented room is located in front of the first, each has a private bathroom and WC, which are also bright and pleasant. One small downside to this place is that you can still meet in pajamas in the common hallway to the two rooms.

We found the room very much in line with the photos and description, Fabio's dad, a true Venetian, explained his city to us and gave some information, all while speaking French very well. Ideal location to visit Venice, about 500 meters from Piazza San Marco, while being quiet and with a view of a small canal below our window. So, highly recommended.

Short stay in Venice. Very good welcome despite our late arrival, we got a little lost in the narrow streets. Room and bathroom, very clean, quiet, very pleasant, with a beautiful view. The owner's dad speaks French very well and, unlike some comments, adapts to the people he receives, and is not too talkative. The only tiny drawback is passing through the common corridor to access the private bathroom. Recommended!

Mr. Giorgio and his family welcomed us with great kindness and availability, making us feel immediately at ease. He allowed us to leave our luggage early, which was a great help for us to explore Venice. He gave us good advice on everything, both regarding Venice and restaurants (he sent us to 'Scuola' where they make delicious Venetian cicchetti).
