The B&B Ca'Dor is born in the heart of Venice. We are located in the Cannaregio district, just behind the church of Campo Santi Apostoli, a very central area of Venice: 2 minutes from the Rialto Bridge and 10 from St. Mark's Square. The splendid location allows you to reach important and beautiful tourist destinations in just a few minutes: Ca'Doro, Lista di Spagna, Campo San Bartolomio, the Rialto Bridge and the classic Venetian haberdasheries that lead to St. Mark's Square. The rooms are all comfortably and elegantly furnished and perfectly match the typical Venetian style. It is all these elements that allow the B&B Ca'Dor to revive the Venetian atmosphere for its guests.

BY CAR:
After crossing the Liberty Bridge that connects Venice to the mainland, you can leave your car in the Tronchetto parking lot or in a garage in Piazzale Roma, the bus and car terminal.
From both Tronchetto and Piazzale Roma, continue with a water taxi or the Actv vaporetto, Line 1 (from Tronchetto take the 82, 3 or DM and change to Line 1 at Piazzale Roma), and get off at the Ca' d'Oro stop.
Once you exit the vaporetto stop, turn right along Strada Nuova and immediately you will find the Campo S. Apostoli. Looking to your left, you will see the church, and immediately after the corner you will find the entrance to the small Campo "Drio la Ciesa" in Calle del Manganer, where the B&B Ca’ Dor is located.
BY PLANE:
From Venice Marco Polo airport (13 kilometers from Venice), you can take the shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma (the bus and car terminal). Alternatively, take the airport's internal bus to reach the dock where you can take motorboats to Venice.
Take the blue Alilaguna line and get off at the Fondamenta Nuove stop. Continue walking to the right on the fondamenta, cross the bridge, turn left onto Salizzada dei Spechieri, and continue straight until you reach Campo Santissimi Apostoli.
From Treviso Canova airport (30 kilometers from Venice), take the shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma (the bus and car terminal). From Piazzale Roma, continue as in the "By car/Piazzale Roma" section.
BY TRAIN:
Arrive at Santa Lucia railway station. From the fondamenta in front of the station, take a water taxi or the Actv vaporetto, Line 1, towards Rialto/San Marco and get off at the Ca' d'Oro stop. From here, continue as in the "By car" section.

The structure is old and rundown. Our room had windows on a square, unfortunately the glass is not thick or double-glazed; therefore, we shared our stay with the guests of Venice who were feasting in the establishments below, with passersby or with those dragging their luggage, heating off. We used the only electric heater located in the bathroom (without bidet). Curtains non-existent and dirty. We always undressed in the dark. Packaged breakfast. The apartment is so rundown that we preferred to have breakfast outside. The property assistant, Mrs. Ester, is very rude.

Sicuramente ci sono delle cose da migliorare e su cui stiamo lavorando ma immagino sappia che se la temperatura è alta il riscaldamento non attacca, e quindi non era spento, la colazione è confezionata perché questo impone la legge, ma voi comunque avete usufruito del servizio, Venezia è rumorosa perchè purtroppo tutto è studiato per voi turisti, l’appartamento non è assolutamente trasandato. Certamente non è un grand’hotel, infatti è un b&b altrimenti quello che avete pagato non vi sarebbe bastato neanche per una notte. Avete avuto le pulizi tutti i giorni e la cortesia di poter lasciare i bagagli il giorno della partenza. E per ultimo ma non meno importante, anzi la cosa più importante non è assolutamente accettabile esprimere giudizi non veritieri sulle persone che l’hanno accolta e aspettata, che le hanno dato informazioni e quant’altro.

The location is convenient, very close to everything. The furniture, especially the mattresses and pillows, need to be reviewed. There are many small damages scattered among the furnishings that make it look a bit shabby. There was also an absence of the managers, it was difficult to arrange payment in person with their fixed hours in the morning after 9:30 and no other availability. There were noises from the nightclubs below the windows and a constant ticking from the heating. It is a pity because the location is truly ideal. Perhaps not much can be done about the nightclubs, but something can be done about the furniture, at least the mattresses: it is truly outrageous that they are so old and worn out. It is really the minimum. I slept little and poorly.

Cristina was wonderful! She was so helpful and even tried to contact me when my payment with American Express wasn't working but I never saw the message. She had no concerns about taking care of everything when I got there. Very helpful, friendly, and kind! The area is in a great spot where if you walk towards the middle it is busier but going behind it is less busy. Great area with great food nearby.

Cristina is a friendly, helpful and attentive host to her guests. The property and rooms are cleaned and tidied daily; this makes the stay at the B&B Ca' Dor even more enjoyable. Lastly, but certainly not least, the building overlooks a quiet square, adjacent to the Santissimi Apostoli field, in the heart of Venice. If I were to return to this fascinating city, I will definitely stay again at the B&B Ca' Dor.
