Description
The B&B ‘Al Fondaco’ is located in Pescantina in the renowned Valpolicella, famous for its DOC wine, and a step away from the romantic city of Verona (10km) and the picturesque Garda Lake (10 km).
Our B&B is a historic court, on the banks of the Adige river, where once they were built the ‘burchi’, large barges destined for a time to the transport of materials on the river. From here comes the name ‘Al Fondaco’, as the warehouse where the boats were made.

Very clean and welcoming structure, large room complete with every comfort including minibar, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. Abundant breakfast with fantastic homemade cakes and packaged products. The owner is kind and helpful, worth trying for the excellent value for money. I will definitely come back.

I stayed two days with my family in this B&B to stop at the Garda parks. Very spacious, both the room and the bathroom, panoramic (on the banks of the Adige), quiet and with convenient parking. The breakfast was spectacular, the homemade cakes were amazing. I would gladly return.

I had a very good experience at the B&B Al Fondaco, my room was nice and clean, I felt well welcomed, the daughter of the manager, who welcomed us, was very kind, everything went well and smoothly. The room has a flowery balcony from which you can admire the view of the Adige and the greenery of the opposite bank.

It's already the second time we stay at this delightful B&B Al Fondaco. Helpful and kind managers. Very convenient to the center of Pescantina and 5 minutes from the Thermal Baths. Clean, new room, terrace with a view of the Adige, nothing is missing! Definitely recommended!

Just one night but we had a great time, the quiet place by the river offers the possibility of a relaxing stopover. The parking space, the comfortable and clean room, the abundant breakfast from savory to sweet homemade... what can I say, truly welcoming. Highly recommended, when we come back to those parts we will definitely return to this B&B.

Piacevolissimo fine settimana in questo B&B che non ha nulla da invidiare a tanti Hotel stellati.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato per 6 giorni al B&B al Fondaco e che dire.. non potevamo scegliere di meglio. È stato tutto perfetto a partire dall'accoglienza della signora Marcella, sorridente, disponibile e molto gentile. Camere molto spaziose e pulite, colazione ottima soprattutto le torte fatte in casa dalla proprietaria. Posto tranquillissimo dove il relax è d'ordine.
Lo consigliamo a tutti e di sicuro ci ritorneremo il prossimo anno. Ci siamo sentiti come se fossimo a casa. Un saluto alla signora Marcella.

Torneremo certamente in questo B&B! Posizione fantastica, molto curato e pulito, grandissima disponibilità di chi lo gestisce, colazione fatta in casa buonissima, rapporto qualità/prezzo senza paragoni!

Perfetto, pulitissimo, nuovissimo, mi sono trovata meglio che a casa mia per l'ampiezza della stanza e del bagno, la comodità e la pulizia. Aggiungo inoltre la grande disponibilità della proprietaria, l'ottima scelta alla colazione, il bel panorama, il parcheggio, e la posizione strategica per le tappe principali della zona.

Io e mio marito, con il nostro bambino, andiamo spesso sul Lago di Garda e scegliamo sempre il B&B Al Fondaco per pernottare! Ormai ci sentiamo a casa! Carinissimo, super pulito, situato in una zona tranquilla, ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista! Con Marcella e Gloria c'è un bellissimo rapporto! Loro sono sempre gentili, cordiali e attente ad ogni esigenza! Lo consigliamo vivamente! E noi torneremo prestissimo da voi!

Ottima struttura, nuova, pulita e gestita magnificamente da due deliziose ragazze. Colazione superba con prodotti di qualità fatti in casa. Qualità del sonno molto elevata grazie alla posizione un po' appartata della struttura, proprio sulle rive del fiume. Possibilità di acquistare biglietti a prezzo ridotto per i vari parchi e attrazioni della zona (tantissime!) un ringraziamento per la splendida ospitalità ! Unico neo, pagamenti senza bancomat.

Il posto è davvero ben curato, le camere sono nuove, danno direttamente sul Fiume, e la pulizia è ottima. La signora Marcella è stata molto accogliente, consigliandoci anche dove poter mangiare o cosa poter vedere nei dintorni del B&B e offrendoci una colazione 'casalinga molto buona.
La posizione è ottima per raggiungere velocemente le terme Aquardens e Verona, che sta davvero a pochissimi chilometri!

Stanze spaziose e ben accessoriate. Pulizia ottima.

Accueil très sympathique, chambre et salle de bains très grandes et jolie décoration. Parking. Petit-déjeuner fait avec les gâteaux maison. A 20 mn de Vérone, point de départ idéal pour visiter cette magnifique ville.

B&B fantastico, struttura nuovissima e comoda per visitare sia Verona che il Lago e dintorni. Le proprietaria "Marcella" squisita sia nei modi di accogliere i suoi ospiti che nel preparare i dolci fatti in casa, Maggiormente nel nostro caso, dal momento che ha preparato un ottima crostata di fragole per il compleanno di mia moglie a nostra insaputa. La stanza (dotata di aria condizionata) ed il bagno sono ampi e pulitissimi. B&B adatto sia alle famiglie che a coppie. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente Angelo, Lucyna ed Elisa.

Siamo stati due notti in questo B&B e siamo stati benissimo. La struttura è di recente ristrutturazione e le camere sono molto belle. La nostra in particolare aveva un terrazzino con vista fiume molto gradevole. La proprietaria e la figlia sono state gentili e soprattutto disponibili per informazioni e consigli e questo è stato molto utile per noi che non conoscevamo molto il posto. La colazione abbondante e ricca di torte buonissime. Consiglierei a chiunque di soggiornare in questa struttura.

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo trascorso una notte nel B&B gestito da Marcella e Gloria. Fin da subito siamo entrati in empatia con entrambe e i consigli che ci hanno dato, riguardo a luoghi da visitare e posti dove andare a mangiare, sono stati davvero preziosi. La posizione è ottimale in quanto consente di raggiungere rapidamente sia le terme Aquardens che, come nel nostro caso, il Parco Natura Viva. L'ex fondaco è stato del tutto ristrutturato recentemente con gusto, mantenendo i caratteri storici originari dell'edificio. La proprietaria, essendo di Pescantina ci ha allietato con innumerevoli aneddoti storici riguardanti la zona molto interessantie caratteristici. Relax, riposo e romanticismo sono assolutamente garantiti, contornati inoltre da una colazione prelibata e una torta al riso soffiato da provare (brava Gloria). Consigliamo di visitare Lazise, un piccolo gioiellino sul lago, dove abbiamo trascorso una piacevole serata cenando alla cozzeria consigliata da Marcella (ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo).
Ci tenevamo a scrivere questa recensione anche perché il posto è aperto da poco e merita certamente l'attenzione dei visitatori!
Noi ci torneremo sicuramente.
