The B&B A LE BOTEGHE is just in the very hearth of Venice, few minutes from Saint Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge.
Although it has been totally renovated, it respects the Venetian style.

The flat
The whole B&B A LE BOTEGHE has been renovated: it is composed by three bedrooms - two double rooms and a triple one- three bathrooms, one kitchen and a hall where breakfast is served.
Bedrooms are very bright and each one has two big windows with view over Calle de le Boteghe, or Campiello Novo and Piscina San Samuele; each bedroom has satellite LCD- SAT-TV, heating and air conditioning.
All bathrooms have a window and are furnished with toilet, bidet, washbasin, shower and hairdryer.

It is served in the hall, on a big table where up to 10 guests can meet and share each other's impressions on the city and the different intineraries followed or to be followed.
You could choose among coffee, milk, cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea that will be served with croissant, bread, butter, honey, jam, nutella, corn-flakes, juice.

Breakfast is served every morning from 8:30 to 9:30 in the central room, on the large table that can accommodate up to 10 people, chatting and exchanging impressions and suggestions about the city.

Hello, I'm Clara. It could be me or my husband Giordano, or perhaps our daughter Enrica who will welcome you to our B&B in Venice. It will always be me (sometimes with Giordano's help) who prepares breakfast for you every morning from 8:30 to 9:30. During breakfast, I will be happy to give you all the information you need to make the most of our beautiful city, where we were born and happily live. In our B&B, you will find simplicity and organization, but do not expect high-quality services because we are a simple family-run B&B. We will try to be punctual and efficient, but with all the limitations due to our family and work commitments. I am sure you will feel comfortable and at ease. I hope to meet you soon. A le Boteghe B&B lies 50 metres from Campo Santo Stefano, one of the most beautiful and wide square in Venice where you will find Santo Stefano and San Vidal Church, Morosini, Loredan (seat of Venetian Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts) and Pisani (seat of Benedetto Marcello Academy of Music) palaces. Santo Stefano church is one of the greatest gothic churches in Venice (together with Frari and SS. Giovanni e Paolo church) : its ceiling looks like the bottom of a ship and houses several works of the most famous artists such as for instance Jacopo Tintoretto, Jacopo Palma the old and many others.

I spent a few days in Venice and Mrs. Clara's tips helped me optimize my time available. Apart from knowing the city, the lady is very kind and friendly, it was a pleasure to talk to her about the city in all its aspects. The B&B A Le Boteghe is also in a strategic location, not excessively crowded, but close to the most famous places in the city.

Fantastic stay, excellent clean and welcoming structure, strategically located to move around Venice. Good breakfast, with yogurt, muesli, warm croissants, bread, butter and jam, juices and fresh fruit. But what my friend and I appreciated the most is the family atmosphere that is created. We had very pleasant moments at the table during breakfast, with endless chats with the other guests. Venice is a charming city, and at least once in a lifetime you must visit it. But our vacation was perfect also thanks to this B&B, located in a strategic position to move around the center. With restaurants and bars nearby. Mrs. Clara, a delightful and kind person. Welcoming and caring. Her valuable information as a good Venetian was helpful during our stay. We were guests at 'B&B A Le Boteghe' for ferragosto, the managers are very kind and helpful. They came to pick us up at the ferry to take us to the property, which is centrally located. We were given information and advice on how to move around and what to see, they provided us with a map of Venice to better orient ourselves. The breakfast served by the owner is plentiful and varied. The lady was very kind in offering to keep our luggage before departure and in giving us access to the bathroom. We had a great time and highly recommend it.

I stayed at B&B for three nights in May. The location of the B&B is excellent, walking distance to San Marco, Rialto, and very close to Accademia. The decor is a bit worn but still good value for money. The hosts are very friendly, they met me at the vaporetto stop when I arrived, and organized for a light breakfast in my room on my last morning when I had to leave early. Highly recommended.

Very nice and clean room at a good price. Breakfast is served in the common room, in classic Italian style and rich with fresh pastries. The location in Venice is perfect for exploring the city and yet it is quiet. The only small drawback is the third floor without an elevator, which can be tiring for people with a lot of luggage. We will gladly come back anytime.

The structure is in a strategic position, a few minutes' walk from Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge, and other main attractions. Small family-run Bed & Breakfast, quiet and very clean. A Le Boteghe is a nice B&B perfectly located near Santo Stefano square. One can reach San Marco square, Rialto bridge or Academia in 10 minutes from here.
The hosts Clara and Giordano are very kind, they informed us about sightseeing and helped with any trouble.
The room was clean with all convenience: shower, conditioner, fridge, TV, WiFi.
However, the stone floor became cold in the cold rainy weather.
The breakfast was good with croissants and cappuccino. Also there were fruits, yogurts, cornflakes and juice.
Moreover it's a cheap accomodation in Venice with advantageous location. Finally I enjoyed being here.

Proprietari davvero cordiali e disponibili. Simpatica l'idea della colazione al tavolo "sociale", una lunga tavola condivisa da tutti gli ospiti della struttura (che dispone di 3 stanze). Ottimo punto di partenza per la visita di qualunque quartiere. Sarò felice di tornarci.

Arrivati a Venezia siamo stati accolti da Giordano, proprietario del B&B, che nel tragitto dal vaporetto al B&B ci ha fornito preziose informazioni sulla città. Il B&B molto pulito e accogliente, camera comoda con finestre luminose. Al mattino abbondante colazione italiana in compagnia degli altri ospiti e di Clara, squisita padrona di casa.

Sechs Tage waren wir Gäste der B&B und insgesamt höchst zufrieden.
Clara war eine super Gastgeberin, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Schon im Vorfeld erwies sich der Kontakt als sehr angenehm, wir wurden vom Anleger abgeholt, - ich kann nur jedem empfehlen, das Angebot anzunehmen, es sei denn, man kennt sich aus in der Stadt.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist optimal, die Zimmer sind geräumig und blitzeblank.

Great B&B! The host/owner Clara was very gracious and helpful, the room was spacious and elegant, and the location was perfect! Venice is an expensive city but I thought it was a great price for the location and quality. The room was very clean and well-presented. The breakfast was not gourmet but all the baked good and fruit were fresh and Clara handmade a large selection of coffee drinks. We had a tour early in the morning before the breakfast time and Clara made us up a plate the night before! We were also able to leave our luggage there after checkout then come back and use the restroom before our flight. Only thing to note is if you have trouble with stairs its not a good place for you. All around really great!

I give the property a low rating for the following reasons.
1. No where was it mentioned that it was on the 3rd floor of the building and u had to climb stairs lugging a suitcase. I am traveling for 4 weeks n no matter how light u pack u still need clothe for 4 weeks.
2. The air conditioning did not work it would come on a few minutes and go off. The owner admitted they've had the problem for some time n r unable to rectify it.
3. There was no wifi and despite informing the owner she just shrugged it off. The people who took the room across us too were unhappy about it.
Because there was no wifi I did not get any info about the cancellation of my booking in Florence and landed up there without a room for the night which was stressful.
4. Breakfast was yogurt brought in her hand and said chose from this. Why can't it be left on the table n u pick what you want. Nobody is going to eat more than one. Everything was one. One chocolate croissant one apricot croissant. But hard rolls were 2 apiece.
Please ensure that air conditioning and Wi-Fi are removed from this listing as it is not available. Please mention stairs to climb.

The room was nice and spacious. But the shower was tiny and no soap tray in the shower. You had to reach out to the wash basin to get it.
I only chose this Bnb because a friend said it was nice.. but it definitely was not.
Also if GPS directions r given the property can b reached easily. I had to use a hotel phone to call her after we arrived n wait in the pouring rain. As they insisted they would pick us up. How can we confirm time of arrival if there r delays? We always plan in good faith to b on time but if u r dependent on trains which run late what do u do?.

B&B A La Boteghe was a really wonderful place to stay during our time in Venice.
In terms of location vs price, I don't think you could ask for a better deal. It's a short walk away from both Piazza di San Marco and the Basillica, the Ponte di Rialto and the Ponte di Academia which made getting round really simple and also gave us a base to return to when we needed a rest. With a Traghetto stop literally around the corner you can also cross the Grand Canal without needing to wade through the San Marco crowds around the Rialto, and at the cost of only 2 Euros a head it's a really worthwhile experience (far better value for money than a Gondola!). It's an incredibly well-priced B&B for it's pretty central location in San Marco.
It was also very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was simple but more than sufficient and the host Clara was lovely. She was always willing to answer questions about where we should go and what we should see during breakfast in the mornings, and we were incredibly grateful for her offering to come and meet us at the Vaporetto stop when we first arrived.
Wèd definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for somewhere central that offers excellent value for money!

Lo primero que hay que destacar es su situación privilegiada, a 10 minutos de la plaza San Marcos y el Puente Rialto y a 5 minutos del Puente de la Academia por el que puedes cruzar a la zona de Dorsoduro.
Clara, muy atenta, nos indicó en el correo de la reserva, cómo llegar al alojamiento y nos esperó en la parada del vaporeto, para llevarnos al B&B. Sirve ella misma el desayuno, con un capuccino muy rico.
La habitación es grande, con una gran cama de matrimonio y en nuestro caso, una cama supletoria para el niño. Muy cómodas y todo muy limpio. Quizá en el baño haría falta un poco de mantenimiento, faltaba uno de los soportes de la ducha y el espejo estaba algo desgastado en las esquinas superiores, pero nada importante. WIFI gratis que funciona perfectamente.
Clara nos recomendó para cenar el restaurante-pizzería Rosa Rosa, muy cerca del B&B, quedamos encantados, las pizzas riquísimas.
Muy buen lugar para alojarse en Venecia y a buen precio comparado con los alojamientos que hay en la ciudad.

Clara an Giordano could not be better hosts. The experience that I shared with my little boy is one to be treasured for a life time.
The stay in Venice was splendid. We were on top of everything because of the location of the b and b, and our hosts really helped us to get around providong knowledge of the area, routes maps etc. I have only positive things to say about venice and our hosts. The reason I score 8 fir breakfast is because whilst the choice is varied there is nothing hot.

Muy bien ubicado. El alojamento es límpio y my bien decorado. El único es que el desaduno podria está disponible por más tiempo, pues solo tenia 1h (de 8:30 hasta 9:30). No hay ascensor.

Wir waren sehr angetan von der liebevollen und stilvollen Einrichtung aller Räume sowie von der Herzlichkeit der Betreiber. Alles war jederzeit in bester Ordnung, auch sehr sauber - wir empfehlen dieses B&B sehr gerne weiter.
Empfehlung: Wenn die Betreiber bei Ankunft die Abholung von der Vaporetto-Station anbieten -> unbedingt annehmen. Es ist schwierig zu finden (wenn man dann weiß, wo es ist, ist dann alles gut!

A Le Botteghe is a beautiful old Venetian building which is well situated 10 minutes walk from Saint Mark's square and the Rialto bridge. It's also situated right beside a lovely square - St. Stefano's where you can sit with a coffee or glass of wine. The rooms are quiet and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was simple but adequate and the owner helpful and pleasant. A lovely place to stay.

Séjour très agréable dans ce B&B idéalement situé dans Venise entre la Place Saint-Marc, l'Académie et le Rialto.
La chambre est très agréable avec vue sur les toits.
Clara et Giordano sont très sympathiques et nous ont donné de bons conseils pour nos visites.

Una struttura che consiglierei a chiunque. L'unica pecca è l'assenza dell'ascensore che potrebbe essere molto gradita dopo aver girato in lungo e in largo la città di Venezia senza utilizzare i mezzi pubblici.

La struttura si trova in una posizione comoda per raggiungere le principali mete di Venezia. A pochissimi minuti dalla fermata del vaporetto, il B&B è ben gestito dalla disponibile signora Clara. La camera si presenta ampia, luminosa, pulita, con un bagno nuovo. Non di charme ma comunque carina. Consiglio questa struttura e ci ritornerei.
