Description

Just next to the Austrian arsenal dedicated to Franz Joseph I, that hosted the troops of the Famous Marshal Radetzky, the building where the B&B "Arsenal Suites" is located appears as a small treasure preserved by the passing of time, in the midst of modern buildings that surround it.

This is what struck me when I first saw that gate, beyond which I could have a glimpse to a garden from another time and a stunning Liberty style house.

Here I wanted my rooms. I created them associating the history of this house with modern technologies (each room is provided with domotics system, keypads with numeric code for access to the B&B and to the rooms without actual keys).

I want my guests feel at home, surrounded by every comfort, but at the same time feel the charm of old times, that type of charm that only a city like Verona can give.

They can spend peaceful nights far from the noise of the city, but then, right outside the gate of our house in Piazza Arsenale, they will find themselves in front of the extraordinary Castel Vecchio Bridge. Just on the other side of this bridge they will arrive in one of the best parts of Verona city centre, which in few steps will lead them to Arena

Located in Verona, near the Castelvecchio Bridge, the Basilica of San Zeno Maggiore and the Arena of Verona; the characteristic of the area is tranquility, mainly due to the positioning of the house right at the end of the road, which is in fact a dead end. The location near the bridge of Castelvecchio places the Arsenalesuites in fact to 100 meters from the historical center

The rating for the host is like a rating for a WhatsApp chat. The breakfast room is adjacent to the entrance doors of the rooms, so to avoid disturbing others you have to have breakfast quietly. The breakfast is continental; for me it is perfect, but if you expect a more substantial breakfast you may be a bit disappointed. The location is perfect. Public parking nearby, about €20 per day.

Unfortunately, the location of the air conditioning in room Zio is not optimal(at the head of the bed) and therefore we could only keep the unit running when we were not in the room. Mosquito screens would also be beneficial. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Clean & compact B&B with a small courtyard and a shared dining area. A basic breakfast is provided and the rooms are cleaned daily.\n\nThe host was away during our stay but was very organised and made sure we had all the info that we needed prior our stay, and was always available via WhatsApp if need be. It is worth noting that a cell phone and data is required for entry upon arrival.\n\nBorgo Trento is a residential neighbourhood so the location is quiet, yet only a short walk across the river to the old city. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and bars.\n\nOnly a couple of very minor downsides, which of course are entirely subjective. Personally I found the room a little small compared to some of our other Italy accommodations, but, it is still much larger than anything that you would get in the old city of Verona for the same rate. I found the plug-in fragrance dispenser unpleasant, but it can easily be unplugged.

The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every request we had — truly going above and beyond to make us feel at home.\n\nThe apartment itself was absolutely charming — cozy, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. It perfectly suited our needs and made our stay very comfortable.\n\nOne of our favorite features was the adorable little garden, where we enjoyed our breakfast and morning coffee in peace. It added such a special touch to the whole experience.\n\nThe location is also excellent — situated in a quiet and beautiful part of the city, yet within walking distance of all the main attractions.

Very well-kept apartment, just steps from the center of Verona and a parking garage. Quiet neighborhood, cleanliness, and organization at the highest level. If I had to find a "blemish", the indoor space for breakfast is a bit tight. If the weather had been nice, there was still space outside. All good, and compliments to Matteo.

My husband and I spent a night in this establishment and we had a great time. It was clean, quiet, brand new and just a stone's throw from the city center. We stayed at Arsenale Suites for one night. We arrived by car - very close to the Arsenale parking. Please note that the door will be closed in the evening and you will have to take a longer trip to the B&B. It takes 5 minutes to reach the center. The room is quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was well organized (you can say what you want), but it generates too much waste with the bags (I hope some of these can be reused). For one night near the center: Optimal and I would recommend it.

Highly recommended structure. Conveniently located in the center, small and cozy, a little corner of paradise in the center of Verona. Very helpful owner: despite our early arrival and room cleaning in progress, he allowed us to store our luggage so we didn't have to leave them in the car. We will definitely return.

Matteo's property is beautiful, in a super central location, all very clean and super functional. The room (Zio Tom) is large, warm, quiet, equipped with all comforts. The breakfast service is managed very well and Matteo is a perfect host, very quick in communications and available to provide information. Moreover, one of the things I appreciated the most is the convenience of the check-in for opening the gate and the front door and the fact that the place is dog friendly. Delighted to have found gluten-free products and plant-based milk. Arsenale Suites is more than a b&b, it is a truly perfect experience that I recommend and will definitely repeat.

Excellent structure, excellent manager. Rooms and common area very clean, all furnished in the best way. Manager super kind and always available for any request. Super abundant breakfast with many things already available in the fridge and outside the fridge, plus delivery of fresh items the following morning. Great location, located near the center and convenient for parking almost adjacent to the structure. I fully recommend this b&b for any occasion.

We stayed at Arsenale Suites to visit Verona, we have never found such high quality. The manager is friendly and attentive to every need, with many products in the fridge available to guests, excellent breakfast despite the covid issue. It's amazing to open the doors and gate with your own smartphone, beautiful and very clean room, we couldn't have found better.

The property has 3 private rooms, each with their own private outdoor patio. There is a communal kitchen area with many different types of drinks and some breakfast items, all in individual portion plus fresh bakery items are provided to each room in the morning. Paid secure parking is next door in an underground structure. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The location is very close to the old city center but very private and peaceful. Entry to the property is handled via a phone app and is all touchless.
