Description

The B&B Al Vecchio Olivo is part of a beautiful rustic house with a garden, where an ancient olive tree that gave its name to the structure lives, immersed in the tranquility of the green Veronese countryside, surrounded by peach trees and actinidia, an ideal place for families with children.

In the rustic house, a farmhouse with an annex barn, once the dwelling of the farmers who worked the surrounding lands, with the renovation carried out in recent years, it was possible to create the owner's apartment and, in the easternmost part, an apartment consisting of a double bedroom with bathroom and a kitchen with a double sofa bed.

The B&B Al Vecchio Olivo offers its guests, in addition to the double bedroom with kitchen use, a loft double bedroom with a single bed and independent bathroom, and a single bedroom with a bathroom as well; outdoor parking is available in the courtyard, and pets are allowed.

The B&B Al Vecchio Olivo is located in a small hamlet about 2 km from Valeggio sul Mincio and only 15 km from "Valerio Catullo" airport in Villafranca di Verona.

In the surrounding area, you can find numerous attractions, amusement parks, and water parks, including Parco Giardino Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio, which is among the five most extraordinary gardens in the world, Borghetto, one of the most beautiful ancient villages in Italy, and Cavour water park; Gardaland, the largest amusement park in Italy, and Sealife, Canevaworld, and Movieland in Lazise; Parco Natura Viva and Zoo Safari between Bussolengo and Pastrengo; the "Villa dei Cedri" Thermal Park in Lazise; you can also take a sightseeing tour of the stunning Lake Garda (only 7 km away), Verona with its Arena and attractions (20 km), Mantua with its squares and historic buildings (15 km), and many other tourist sites that have played a role in Italian history.

Owner but also the whole family, cordial and very kind people, truly humble people. Excellent breakfast prepared in every detail every morning, the cakes prepared by the hostess are truly exquisite. A quiet place away from the daily chaos but at the same time strategic, as it is only 20 minutes away from the Garda parks such as Movieland, Gardaland, Parco Natura Viva, and also beautiful places like Sirmione and Peschiera del Garda where you can spend a pleasant evening. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially those with families and children. A special thanks to the owner, I hope to return one day.

Splendid structure a few minutes by car from Valeggio and the small village of Borghetto, but also half an hour from Verona where I had to go in the afternoon. An entire apartment available overlooking the courtyard of the house. Perfect, very clean and with an impeccable landlady. I could only give 10 to everything.

The structure is well-kept, immersed in the countryside, in a quiet area but not far from the center of Valeggio. The rooms are spacious, in the bathroom you find everything you need. The owner is a truly kind and hospitable person, makes you feel at home and pampers you with her delicious sweets at breakfast... she made one specially for me without lactose due to my intolerance. Excellent cleanliness and value for money.

Simple and very clean B&B. I stayed in a single room with a nice spacious bathroom. The property is in a very quiet area, in the middle of the countryside. Very good rest. Mrs. Giuseppina was kind and welcoming. Excellent breakfast, with homemade cakes. When I arrived at the property, there was a wonderful scent of cake, a bit like being at home. Great bed and breakfast to visit Verona, Mantua and the entire lower Garda, including parks. The breakfasts by Mrs. Sofia are delicious, with a different cake every day (sometimes more than one) and all very good. The apartment is comfortable for 4 people, with a large and well-equipped kitchen, nothing is missing. Highly recommended.

The structure is very nice, upon entering there is a large wooden beam patio that warms the heart. We chose the two-room apartment and it was perfect, very nice, very large, equipped with everything and meticulously clean. Abundant breakfast. The landlady, a lovely lady with whom it was a real pleasure to share breakfast and chat, pampered us with her homemade sweets. Impossible not to get attached! The structure is an excellent base for visiting the tourist locations in the surrounding area. Very quiet, internal parking. I thank Mrs. Sofia for her kind hospitality. I can only highly recommend it.

I stayed on the occasion of the Dream Theater concert at Rock the Castle in Villafranca with a friend. Mrs. Sofia is very kind and attentive to every customer's request, as well as an excellent cook (how good the cakes she had made for breakfast!). Absolutely recommended place if you can move around by car, it is in the open countryside and not very convenient for public transportation, although the area is absolutely quiet and you sleep well. Another place that I will include among my reference points, in case I have to return to those parts by car.

What to say? I stayed one night during a solo motorcycle tour. The owner was incredibly kind and sweet. She made me feel at home in an instant. The room seemed cleaner than an operating room and every detail was very well taken care of. We stayed for two days and it was a beautiful experience for the enchanted place, the excellent cleanliness, and the extreme cordiality and kindness of the owner of the property. Welcomed and pampered, we wish to give a personal commendation to the owner for her hospitality and ability to make every guest feel at home. We will return.

We had a lovely holiday in this bed and breakfast where we appreciated the welcome and availability of Mrs. Sofia. The spaces are large and the cleanliness is impeccable in all the rooms. We recommend it to those who want to spend relaxing days. If you have a car, the structure is conveniently located to reach amusement parks and characteristic places like Borghetto. Renovated farm in the Veronese countryside, a few kilometers from Valeggio sul Mincio. Rustic structure, very well maintained, clean, warm and welcoming. Relaxing and peaceful environment a short distance from Lake Garda and nearby tourist areas. Abundant breakfast, homemade cake by Mrs. Sofia, the owner, a sweet and discreet lady. Recommended.

Clean and well-maintained B&B, excellently managed by Ms. Sofia, not to mention the breakfast (rich and plentiful). Courtesy and availability are the order of the day, if you want to spend a few days in absolute relaxation and feel at home, I highly recommend it.

Two-room apartment with a very nice kitchen: renovated with taste and cared for in detail. Cleanliness, care, silence, and great kindness, no flaws. The house has a decentralized position compared to Valeggio but is easily reachable in a few minutes, completely surrounded by fields cultivated with kiwi. Sweet breakfast with cake prepared by the owner and fresh fruit. The stay was really pleasant.
