Description
B&B La Sensa is an old house restored in the last years. Giacomo, a venitian engineer lives inside. He will be very happy of explain you secrets and hidden points of view of his beloved city.
The house is on two floors in the corner of Campo dei Mori (""campo" means little square, "Mori" are the nickname of the arabic merchants), in a classic venitian zone.
The atmosphere is magic and relaxing, with the presence of the sculptures of the Mori.
There is a kitchen and a dining room for breakfast at ground floor.
The room is at the first floor on Campo dei Mori in sunny and windly position, with the view of a nice venitian channel.
You can see the colors of sunrise either sunset.
In summer in the room is possible having air conditioning.
Cleaning is daily. Every three days ther is the change of sheets and towels.
The external bathroom at ground floor is wide and confortable with bathtube, bidet, heated towel rail and hairdryer
An energetic brekfast is included.
On demand is possible to use the kitchen and various machines
(washingmachines, microwaves...)
There is the possibility of connecting MP3 readers, cd or listening music with the computer and the stereo placed in the dining room
No TV - only venitian water channels.
On demand you will have a free wi-fi access in all the house

The host Giacomo was very welcoming and friendly. The house was very cosy and we felt very welcome. We received great restaurant recommendations and local tips too. Would definitely recommend. Nice quiet location but not too far to walk around the whole city.

Such a lovely stay! The location is lovely and you feel very much nestled in the neighbourhood. Staying at La Sensa was a highlight of our trip and very much made our trip to Venice amazing.

The accommodation takes 25-30 minutes from the main station. The house is almost a host's private home. The bathroom was shared and the air conditioner had to keep the exhaust out of the window, so we always had the windows open. It was too loud and it didn't get cool at all. The kitchen was far from clean. Also, there was a mini bar on the street right in front, so it was very noisy until midnight. The host was nice, but if you really care about the guests, you had better set them up for a relaxing environment.

Very well located, very friendly owner. I recommend it. The bathroom is on the ground floor and the room upstairs. There is everything you need to have breakfast but you have to prepare it yourself.

The house is located in a picturesque area, not very touristy, but a few minutes walk from the center. The room is spacious and bright. The bathroom, generous in size, is separate. The manager is very kind and ready to help when needed. However, the breakfast is a bit poor.

The room is spacious, overlooks a beautiful small square and, although the bathroom is external, it is for exclusive use. The included breakfast is not really sufficient, you can make yourself a coffee but there is not much else available. Giacomo was a very courteous and helpful host, as well as his dad, who warmly welcomed us upon our arrival.

Chambre à Cannaregio at La Sensa with Giacomo who lives in the room next door. Sdb used only by the guests. A bit noisy in the evening because a restaurant is on the square right next door but nice view on a canal. Near Vaporetto, restaurants and bars.

Giacomo is the most fantastic host I have had the pleasure to meet so far in the shared economy. I am hesitant to praise him too much, as I hope to go back soon, and I would not want to be unable to, due to overbooking.
He is extremely generous and I had a wonderful time learning about Venice through our discussions.
Location was also fantastic for me. Exactly what I wanted.

We had a wonderful time - my wife, our two little girls and I. I recommend this B&B to everyone. If you want to experience a true Venice, without the suffocation of ordinary tourism, choose "I Mori". Giacomo, the owner, was splendid, welcoming, nice, generous, as Venetians know how to be. Thank you, we will return.
