Description

Ca' Marcello is a farmhouse located in a quiet area of ??the Veneto countryside, along the Brenta canal.

Very close to Venice, in the territory of Mira between Oriago and Malcontenta, 2 km away is the famous Palladio's Villa Foscari. Excellent starting point for visiting various places in the Veneto region including Venice, Padua, Treviso, Chioggia, Vicenza.

Venice can be easily reached by bus (stop 900m away) or vaporetto (from Fusina which is 8km away).

The accommodations are in rooms and apartments. They all have a private bathroom, air conditioning and heating. Wi-fi in all rooms.

For breakfast (not served, there is no breakfast room) please contact us: it can be added later to the reservation.

The apartments for 2 persons have a double bedroom with the possibility of adding a third bed, bathroom, kitchen / living room.

The apartments for 4 persons are with double bedroom, bedroom with bunk bed, bathroom, kitchen / living room. The addition of an extra bed must be agreed in advance.

All apartments have air conditioning, heating, wi-fi.

In both cases, one is on the ground floor and one on the first floor.

The ground floor is particularly loved by those who want to have direct access to the back garden. The first floor is very popular for the view from above both in front and in the back.

Services: summer swimming pool with solarium, bike, sit on top kayak for two people, games for children. Table tennis and table football. Inside there is a tree-lined avenue that runs along the entire property, beautiful in all seasons.

Animals: the manager reserves the right to accept animals at his discretion (small size, only one per accommodation). Animals are not allowed in the pool area. An extra fee is required.

La colazione di AGRITURISMO CA' MARCELLO

Breakfast is not included in the price.

There is not a room for breakfast. However, each room is equipped with a table (larger or smaller depending on the room) and chairs: cups, cutlery, glasses. Each room has a fridge.

There is a small common area for 3 rooms (see photo) with coffee/tea/chamomile/barley machine, microwave, water boiler.

What you find in the room for breakfast:
rusks, jams, hazelnut cream, honey, biscuits, milk, plain yogurt, butter, apples (or other fruit depending on the season). In the morning, fresh croissants/brioches (flavors of your choice) and/or bread are brought.

You can also find ham or similar or cheese depending on availability. Please note that in case of special requests we might charge an extra.

Fabiana manages the agriturismo together with her father Silvio, who is the soul of the agriturismo. Silvio mainly takes care of the countryside, the garden, the swimming pool and the vegetable garden. He often receives guests with whom she loves to have a chat, especially on topics dear to him such as the countryside and his own Veneto region.

Silvio also speaks French.

He is happy when he is surrounded by his grandchildren.

Fabiana manages everything related to reservations, and in the daily life of accommodation management. She loves mountains and hiking in the nature. She is interested and likes to visit what's to see around and would be pleased to give advices about the region.

Area countryside

Located about 14 km from Venice, reachable by bus (stop 900 meters away) and / or by vaporetto (from Fusina).
We are in the countryside, and the nearest towns, supermarkets and restaurants are around 3 km away.
Along the Brenta canal. Nearby we have Villa Foscari in Malcontenta, the only Palladian villa on the Riviera del Brenta.

Villas that can be visited: Villa Pisani in Stra, Villa Widmann Foscari and Villa Valmarana (a combined ticket is possible for these two villas), Villa Foscari in Malcontenta, Villa Foscarini Rossi in Stra (Shoe Museum).
The villages of interest are Dolo, Mirano and Noale and Chioggia.

Starting point for visiting Chioggia, Padua and the Euganean hills, Treviso and the Marca Trevigiana, Vicenza and the Palladian villas, Verona. Not far away is the starting point for some excursions southern part of the Venetian lagoon.

Perfect location to explore this beautiful region. We took our bikes and went around to see the villas. We went with car to Ravenna and Vicenza and with bus to Venice. We liked to come back to the peaceful atmosphere at the agriturismo. Apartment was perfect.

Very clean and well kept room. Very close to the bus route to take you to Venice. Also a short car ride to catch the Ferry to Venice. Both are very convenient ways to get to Venice. Very beautiful property. Nice and relaxing.

I experienced the pleasantness of the eight days of vacation spent in this structure, whose location, architecture, and layout of spaces inspired me with serenity and tranquility, essential elements for a genuinely relaxing holiday. I also greatly appreciated the discreet and empathetic presence of the structure's manager and daughter, extremely kind and helpful in providing me with all the tourist information I requested. The area where the Ca' Marcello farmhouse is located revealed itself to be a real surprise to my eyes for the discreet beauty of both the architectural and naturalistic landscape, in addition to the splendid beauty of Venice! I definitely recommend this structure for a family vacation full of the healthiest tranquility and enjoyment of a truly iconic and picturesque landscape, welcomed by a very nice structure, in a context where you can appreciate the originality of the landscapes and the absolutely magical atmosphere of the evening, well received in a pleasant structure from all points of view.

The apartment was equipped with everything needed to live as if we were at our own home. In the kitchen, there were details such as table salt and seasonings. Air conditioning. Awesome place to stay, just a ferry trip to Venice. The host was fantastic, offering us lots of help. We hired bikes and rode along the canals, seeing so much of the local environment.

We really enjoyed our stay at Agriturismo Ca' Marcello. Accommodation for 4 people comfortable, functional, equipped with everything you need. Swimming pool, lawn, playground for the little ones, table football and ping pong. Space also for camping. And then... canoeing in front of the farm... so much fun. Convenient, close to the bus stop to go to Venice, not far from the boat terminal to reach the Veneto capital by boat. Starting point to visit various cities in Veneto, from lagoon resorts to art cities. And then... Mr. Silvio, talkative, witty and friendly, always ready to give advice and provide essential information for tourists like us... what can I say... you have to try it.

Perfect location to visit the Brenta and Venice, immersed in the tranquility of the Riviera, a 1-minute drive from the stop to Venice of the Sottomarina line that passes every 40 minutes and takes you to Ponte Calatrava with 1 euro and 50 per person instead of paying 28 euros for parking to arrive a few hundred meters even further from the center. If you want, you can also walk to the stop (it's about 800 meters) and the first day we did it but then at night at 1 after a day of walking those 800 meters seemed like kilometers and the second day then. The manager and the staff are very kind and the apartment is large, equipped and comfortable, one of the few times I found a mattress like at home. Highly recommended and God willing we will gladly return to see the Riviera and the villas of the Brenta.

In effetti ha ragione che dopo una giornata a Venezia tornare a piedi dalla fermata all'agriturismo la stanchezza prende le gambe, ma rimane pur sempre una opzione che permette di non muovere l'auto oppure per chi viene con i mezzi pubblici. Un caro saluto dalla nostra famiglia ma soprattutto Silvio!

The Ca' Marcello farmhouse was an excellent base for visiting Venice and surroundings, moving comfortably with public transport (tickets can be purchased directly at the farmhouse). The manager, a very friendly and helpful person, provided us with all the necessary information and even a map. The structure is very clean, well maintained, and located in a quiet area. It also has a beautiful pool to relax and let the children play at the end of the day. The room assigned to us was very spacious and equipped with everything necessary, with a well-stocked fridge and a central table that allowed us to have a rich breakfast in total autonomy, including fresh bread. The whole family enjoyed the stay, which, although short, was truly pleasant and relaxing.
