A fantastic farmhouse, we had a wonderful time. Unfortunately only one night: it's a place you would not want to leave. Clean and spacious rooms with beautiful furnishings. The attention to detail is surprising. Nicola was very kind; he told us the story of the castle and conveyed to us all the love he has for this place. It is located 10 minutes from the center of Perugia and half an hour from Assisi, another beautiful town. I would recommend it and I would happily return. Oh, I forgot: the outdoor area is huge, the view over the hills, the sense of peace and relaxation are beautiful.

From arrival to departure: kindness, professionalism and care in what was offered, beyond expectations. Highly recommended.

If we have the chance, we will return next year because this was a very important trip for us.

Really beautiful villa with 12, maximum 14 beds, located on top of a hill from which you can enjoy a nice view. I was welcomed by the manager Nicola, who was kind and extremely helpful. I recommend it without hesitation.

I had the pleasure of staying with my friends at Villa Egle during Ferragosto,and it was a truly pleasant experience. The setting proved extremely comfortable and private,with clean,tidy and well-furnished rooms. Everything was very well organized and we never had any difficulty asking for what we needed: the manager was always kind and helpful. Each morning,when we returned, we found the rooms perfectly in order. The villa's location proved strategic for getting around the Perugia area and convenient to key services such as supermarkets and fuel stations. My wife and I spent three days in this enchanting place, nestled in the Umbrian hills. The hosts were welcoming and helpful; they made us feel at home. We hope to be able to return soon.

At Villa Egle, you breathe a different air. The loving care for the place, the visitors, and everything that is Villa Egle from Nicola is truly the plus of a beautiful structure where you can breathe in the history of the place while enjoying a frame-worthy panorama. Highly recommended for those who want to spend a period of relaxation or want to visit Umbria in its most beautiful places. Rooms furnished with exquisite taste are combined with a cleanliness and decor that are truly unique.

It is said that check-in is only until 6 PM, but if you are stuck in traffic and cannot arrive on time after a journey of over 1000 km, they were very understanding and found a solution. The reception was very warm, there was always someone who could give tips for activities. Nice location, cool place, garden with seating and sun loungers, so overall perfect. The only thing I personally missed was the grandmother who makes breakfast. There were plenty of packaged foods and instant coffee, so those who do not place much value on breakfast are well accommodated here.

The care of the spaces as well as the availability of the staff for guests is truly excellent (and at a good price-quality ratio). Beautiful 13th-century castle immersed in greenery and tranquility. My boyfriend and I were impeccably welcomed by Nicola and Pierluigi in their home. They are exquisite, very kind, and super hospitable people. The villa and the rooms are cared for in every little detail. You can also see it from the beautiful renovation they have done. It is truly an oasis of peace and tranquility. It's a pity we only stayed one night because it wasn't enough for us to fully enjoy the magical atmosphere of the place. We will definitely return for a longer stay. We were enchanted, it's a perfect place for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. I stayed on November 10th and 11th, two adults and five dachshunds. The owner is excellent, the welcome was exceptional, courtesy and education at the highest levels. The structure is charming, elegant, clean, new, immersed in greenery. Animals are allowed without any problem. It is a pity that you can only give ten; otherwise, I would have given one thousand. I recommend it to all those people who seek relaxation and elegance.

We liked everything about the structure, from the services and the care they offered for our furry friend Kira, to the location, the furnishings, and the cleanliness. It is truly a beautiful place. Wonderful place rich in history, a villa from the 14th century, overlooking the Umbrian hills. As soon as we arrived, Nicola welcomed us and proudly illustrated the noble past of this stunning residence. Every detail is placed just right, nothing is left to chance. The love that can be felt in this place is truly special, just like Nicola and Pierluigi, two wonderful people who welcomed us like old friends. We stayed for 4 nights in two different rooms, each more beautiful than the other, furnished with great taste, a perfect blend of history and design. The cleanliness is excellent. There is also a convenient parking space within the structure. Last but not least, the large garden, with a spectacular view, perfect for spending some moments of relaxation in the silence of the Umbrian countryside or for chatting with other guests or, why not, immersing ourselves in the large Jacuzzi. We arrived at noon at Villa Egle and Nico welcomed us very warmly and showed us the rooms while informing us about the rich history of the place. The rooms are huge and I can highly say the most comfortable I have ever experienced in my life. The outdoor facilities were magnificent and honestly we were really sad that we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer at this beautiful gem. Definitely we will visit again more than once.

Villa Egle is an exceptional guesthouse in Perugia, with two truly wonderful proprietors. Nicola and Pier Luigi made me feel very welcome to their home. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a comfortable and full size en suite bathroom. The common areas are particularly stunning, as they restored a beautiful villa into something unique, that blends the lovely stonework with modern conveniences. The superb views from the patio of the valley below were truly surprising to me. In some ways it feels more like a resort than a B&B! I can't say enough good things, which prompted me to write a review. If you want to stay in Perugia but still have some quiet away from the crowds, this is the perfect solution.

I stayed at Villa Egle for 3 nights. The place is slightly outside Perugia (a few minutes by car) and is in the open countryside: magnificent view and perfect silence. Parking for guests and wi-fi with excellent signal. The managers Nicola and Pierluigi were prompt in welcoming and making themselves available to provide information and also to have a couple of informal and friendly chats. The result is a completely renovated villa suitable for both spending relaxing days and hosting events making the most of the beautiful garden. We enjoyed with the family a weekend during the Umbria Jazz event, staying in the 'Il Giardino' room. Nicola and Pierluigi are extremely kind and helpful, ready to meet the needs of customers. Villa Egle is located a few kilometers from Perugia on the regional road passing through Canneto. This experience definitely leaves you rejuvenated and happy.
