Description

Ancient Tower is the most characteristic place in the village of Viepri, situated in the municipality of Massa Martana (8 km), very close to Todi (13 km).

Its peculiar structure was built on the ancient gate to the village, above the small XVI-century church of San Giovanni Battista, along the big medieval walls dating back to 1390.

The village is behind the Martani Mountains, with many woodland areas, several walking paths, and trekking or mountain-bike tracks.

It is located just in the middle of the region and all the main tourist sites (Assisi, Perugia, Orvieto, Montefalco, Spoleto and Valnerina) can be easily reached.

The tower windows and terrace overlook the surrounding countryside and the small village, where time seems to have stopped.

Its very recent restoration has been carried out with great care and attention, using only ancient materials.

The rooms, furnished with Poor Art, are spread over five floors and each of the three double rooms is equipped with a private bathroom.

They can be split into two separate units, each with its own cooking corner and fireplace.

A crib can be added to the first floor room and a sofa bed can be placed in the upper flat with no additional charge.

Beautiful charming quintessentially Italian historical property. Can be as private and secluded as you want. Roberto made sure that all guest needs were taken care of. He provided abundant ingredients for cooking my own breakfast. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

It feels like going back in time, ancient stone structure with well-kept interiors and all very clean. Excellent location that allows you to reach several historical centers (Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto...) in just a few kilometers, but it is immersed in nature, surrounded by sparsely populated and quiet hills. And Roberto is helpful and very kind. Thank you for the hospitality.

Torre Antica is a beautiful ancient "tower" house, very carefully restored by Roberto, the owner. He was so friendly, kind and always helpful. The house is surrounded by hills and amazing countryside in a quiet and peaceful village of Viepri, which has historical and artistic heritage. There are three bedrooms in the tower with their own bathrooms, kitchen with dining room and a terrace. Everything is very clean, tidy and exquisitely decorated. I can't imagine where you can get more value for money than there, at Torre Antica. I really recommend this place for everyone who wants to experience an authentic Italian countryside with lots of interesting places, cities and villages nearby.

Spectacular medieval structure, located in Viepri. Attention to details, very efficient fireplace, incredible bathroom and shower, exposed stone, a particular atmosphere as if breathing history. Parking with the car is very strategic. Viepri seems frozen in time. It was my second time returning after 8 years. Mr. Roberto was extremely helpful with everything as it happened. Truly recommended.

Charming B&B, for its location in the Torre Antica of an ancient building. The manager, helpful and attentive, in the renovation wanted to maintain the original structural characteristics. The little village hosting the B&B is in an excellent position and from here you can reach many of Umbria's most famous attractions in a short time (about an hour or slightly more). Not to be overlooked is the proximity to many prestigious local wineries.
