Description

The farm holiday apartments “San Michele Arcangelo” are situated on a quiet country lane in a secluded valley in the rural area of the countryside surrounding Perugia (2. 5 km from the historical centre).

This farm has been in the Bibi family for many generations. As in the past, the farm has groves of trees, including olive & walnut.

The apartments are in the original farmhouse, parts of which probably date back to the XIV century. The recent, attractive, restoration has tastefully preserved the original architecture.

The rooms have been fitted with modern, top quality, facilities & appliances. These include independent heating, kitchen, refrigerator & television set.

Apartments 1 & 2 have a terrace, with a panoramic view of the valley & Perugia. Apartments 1 & 3 have separate bedrooms; apartment 2 is a studio.

The surrounding countryside lends itself to your choice of outside physical activity.

The closest main services (restaurants, shops, hospital, etc.) are approximately 1, 5 km away, in Monteluce. The bus stop is 0, 7 km, on road “via Enrico dal Pozzo”, opposite the junction of lane “San Michele Arcangelo”.

The various other Umbrian tourist localities are not far (e. g. Assisi & Todi 40 km, Spoleto 60 km, Lake Trasimeno 25 km).

“Agriturismo” simply means “farm stay” & so the accommodation may be in various formats. In this case, the hosts provide some basic food items; however, as the apartments are self-catered, they do not provide breakfast.

We chose this property because we really liked the photos: a renovated farmhouse in the countryside, yet just a short walk from the center of Perugia. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and, above all, located in a very quiet, peaceful area. The owners (Giuliano and Teresa) welcomed us, gave us all the necessary information and even provided products for breakfast for practically the whole week, even though breakfast was not included. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to visit Perugia and the surrounding area.

Lovely medieval residence located 2 km from Perugia's historic center, run by two 'youngsters' of 80 years, Giuliano and Teresa, kind, helpful and courteous. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms with a panoramic view of the city, in absolute tranquility. Excellent location for visiting the various towns and villages nearby. We will definitely return. We stayed for 4 nights in this B&B and I can say without any doubt that it is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Located in the open countryside surrounded by olive groves but just a 5-minute drive from the parking lots to reach the historic center of Perugia, calm, silence, and tranquility reign here. An excellent base for reaching the most famous locations in the area, including Gubbio, Assisi, etc. The structure has been completely renovated, we stayed in room no. 01 and had practically everything at our disposal: a complete kitchen, a bathroom with a washing machine, autonomous heating, breakfast products, and everything private. The skyline from the adjacent terrace overlooking the city of Perugia is fantastic. The hosts are very nice, Mr. Giuliano and his wife welcomed us with kindness and affection, privacy and discretion were not lacking. And all this at a truly ridiculous price given the quality of the service offered. Absolutely recommended!

Highly recommended. Being three minutes by car from Perugia waking up in the full Umbrian countryside in its restorative silence. Exquisite and welcoming farmhouse composed of several apartments complete with everything; the skyline seen from the terrace is the harmonious and satisfying succession of hills with in the distance the bell towers of Perugia. Pleasant to also take walks among the olive trees around the farmhouse. Dogs welcome. Very kind and helpful owners. We will return!

The choice was initially conditioned by our little dog, we wanted him not to be indoors for 4 weeks. The initial hesitation was immediately overcome upon our arrival. The distance from the city center is truly negligible, in return you can enjoy a wonderful view, even of the city, especially in the evening. The peace and tranquility of the place are incredible. The operators of the company, despite being busy, are always careful and considerate not to disturb us guests. The owners are very kind and always ready to solve any problems we may have. Well-furnished accommodation and equipped with everything necessary for even a long stay. Since the season was favorable, we were able to harvest wild asparagus in the olive grove adjacent to the residential structure, which we greatly appreciated, together with their production oil, in a delicious omelette.\nP. S. Dr. Giuliano, having shown interest in wild asparagus, gave me some potted wild asparagus plants as a gift when we left.\nWe highly recommend it.

Good morning. We stayed for 4 days and, unfortunately, we returned one day early for professional reasons. We say unfortunately because the San Michele Arcangelo structure is a charm and represents the essence of hospitality. From the owners to the property, a praise without any reservation. Practically in a spacious and bright apartment. We spent a period of absolute pleasure and relaxation. This is the real dimension of the B&B as we conceive it. I stayed as a guest with my partner at this property for a week. We found in the managers Giuliano and Maria Teresa two kind and welcoming people who made us feel at home. The farmhouse is nothing short of spectacular, a historic building with pieces of Etruscan stairs, wooden beams and other parts maintained in their original form, renovated to create apartments immersed in the Umbrian countryside where you can enjoy peace and relaxation. The apartment they assigned to us was perfectly clean and sanitized and equipped with everything that can be needed in a house; the sheets and all the linen smelled clean like never before. Giuliano and Teresa were always available and prompt when we asked for information or anything else. Very welcoming and clean structure. It is a beautifully renovated stone farmhouse divided into both mini apartments with kitchen and rooms with bathroom. For breakfast, the owners provide the apartments or the common kitchen (for those staying in a room) with everything necessary. The availability of the owner is fantastic, he came to pick us up at the bus stop and took us to the farmhouse by car and then brought us back to the center. At the end of the vacation he then took us back to the center and, after a few hours, to the train station. The apartment is very quiet and very spacious. The breakfast was simple but good, just to have a quick snack before going out. You have the possibility to cook whatever you want if you want to go shopping.

We were well received by the kind hosts who even showed us the way to a restaurant late at night by going ahead in their own car. The house is an old convent, turned into apartments with great conveniences. You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay, chosen with really good taste. The kitchen is well-equipped, there is a fine hairdryer in the bathroom and a washing machine as well. Everything works and is well maintained, the apartment is very clean. It is located outside Perugia; the city lies just on the opposite side of a small valley and you can admire it from the big terrace of "San Michele Arcangelo". We enjoyed this view very much in the morning while having breakfast, and we loved the silence of the night and the clear starry sky. Just let us say: strongly recommended place.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 days in this charming Bed & Breakfast on the hills overlooking the city of Perugia. It is a farmhouse a few kilometers from the city, yet it is surrounded by olive groves. The peace and tranquility are absolute. The apartment we stayed in has a small terrace with a lovely view of the city of Perugia. Inside, there is a comfortable bed and a well-equipped kitchen to prepare a dinner. Everything is very clean, and the owners are always available and extremely kind. If you want to relax, this place is ideal. We will definitely come back!

Structure in an excellent location both for touring Umbria, as in a short time you are on the main roads, and for the view of the hills of Perugia and the city of Perugia. Quiet and peaceful place suitable for rest in contact with the countryside. This Bed and Breakfast is the perfect compromise for those who want to visit the city of Perugia and its surrounding gems but do not want to give up the green hills of Umbria. I stayed at this property to accompany my mother's surgery at the San Michele Arcangelo clinic. I wasn't expecting much, just needed to rest and take a shower, but instead I found myself in a wonderful place and felt at home. Fascinating and very clean facility. It is located in a truly beautiful agricultural and natural area, a short distance from the center of Perugia and also convenient for traveling to other Umbrian locations. Giuliano and Teresa, the managers, are two wonderful people who also helped me resolve a problem I had with the car (I couldn't use it for a few days), accompanying me several times into town. It's not every day you meet people like them! In addition, the rooms and the structure are beautiful, clean, and carefully renovated, there is a splendid garden where you can have breakfast or simply relax, it was a very pleasant stay in every aspect, I hope to return soon!

We stayed at the bed and breakfast San Michele Arcangelo during the Immaculate Conception long weekend (from December 5th to 8th) as a base for touring Umbria. The bed and breakfast is located on the outskirts of the city of Perugia, surrounded by greenery. It is not difficult to reach, although, to be honest, on the first day we followed the directions on the website and got lost. However, the gentleman owner of the property (very kind) came to rescue us! We recommend updating the directions on the website. As for the rest, nothing to complain about: we give a 10+ to everything, from the location (great with a view of Perugia), to the cleanliness of the room, to the welcome received and the expected treatment: the quality/price ratio is exceptional. The kitchen was also well equipped and we had everything to cook (pots, dishes, oil, coffee, etc.). Just like at home! We will highly recommend it to relatives and friends.

With the grades we give, all that's left to say is that vacations are too short. The road leading to the structure passes through ancient olive trees and vineyards. You arrive at the beautiful stone farmhouse located among walnut trees, olive trees, oaks, and cypress trees, just a stone's throw from Perugia. The owners are friendly and helpful in case of need.
