Rosa, Adriano, Federico, Andrea, Nicolò and Leopoldo - that is our family. We were all born in Rome, but have always been in love with Tuscany. Six years ago, we came across the beautiful old farmhouse San Carlo - it was love on first sight, we were enchanted with the place. To be able to share this passion with our guests, to inspire a love for this part of Italy, its traditions, products, wines, art and its beauty - that is a gift beyond words.
Adriano, the father, is a cardiologist working in Genova, however, most of the time his work requires him to travel all over Italy, often accompanied by his wife Rosa. Federico, Andrea and Nicolò are their sons: the first one is an architect, the second a lawyer and the third one is still at school. Leopoldo is our little Jack Russel Terrier, friendly with everybody and most happy when getting attention and cuddles.
With unequalled enthusiasm every single one of our family takes care of the grounds, whether it be mowing a lawn, pruning and harvesting olives, for the production of our olive oil, making jams and preparing tarts for our guest and caring for the house.
With rather busy lives, the farmhouse is the place where we recharge our energies. The peace and tranquility, natural beauty, contact with the earth and animals is pure balm for the soul and lets us reenter our professional lives with new vigour.

Excellent structure immersed in well-kept greenery, with an adjacent garden with giant tomatoes. Federico and his wife are friendly and always present. Breakfast with homemade sweets. The savory breakfast could be improved. Nice view of Città della Pieve, which is 2 km away. Recommended place.

The stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and welcoming. The managers were more than helpful, even accommodating us for last-minute needs. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. Very well-kept location with a beautiful view.
